Ohhh I wanna make something like this but for our common giant Milipede, it's always so fun just watching them grow along with everything in the tank/container
The part that makes his terrarium pop is he uses short plants and moss up front giving you more to see. Also uses healthy plants. No flaws on them before they go into terrarium
it's nice to see that one person makes interesting videos about this topic, terrariums are great topic, even if you put soil from outside in jar, it's beatifull to see how everything change, evolves and imagine: how it will look 10 years later? i admire you, because you choose something else than everyone, make more videos, because small amount of people know about this insane things you making with terrariums, good luck :}
The super glue and tissue is smart but also baking soda and super glue works to create a mix similar to plastic and can be sanded down and painted to fox alot of things
I was here thinking if this terrarium wouldn't be too small for a centipede, but for some reason I did not realise that there are also tiny centipedes. This one is simply perfect for it.
Hello!! I really appreciate your content and thank you for sharing your knowledge on this. I was wondering if it was possible to insert another kind of Apex predator in a terrarium, like a jumping spider. What do you think? Thank you
Thought I might mention, No ventilation could be very bad to the health of your centipede. They are quite susceptible to mycosis and depending on species it can be quite the problem. Though I don't know if this even matters with common stone centipedes to be fair. From my understanding they don't live long and make quite a terrible species. It depends if you care but they typically disappear in a larger enclosure with most people just never being able to find it. Substrate choice is good. They are small so the moss carpet should be a problem. If you wanted to introduce some people to a acceptance to centipedes there are some easy and bigger species like Scolopendra Cingulata which might do well in terrariums, Alot of the Asian ones are cool but can be a hassle, from my experience they do great in them. Just throwing some ideas that id find cool out there
@@TerrariumDesigns Do a terrarium for the smallest frog you can possibly find please, with pinhead crickets isopods and millipedes as its food inside the tank!
I have question. i made a new terrarium like a week ago and every morning i wake up it fogging i do wipe down the glass and leave the lids off it for at least 2 hrs but i still having the same issues... please advise thank you
I'm new to the this terrarium building stuff, but I've certainly turned into a big fan! I'd like to ask for advice. Is a terrarium that is home to woodslice, centipenedes, common tropical geckos and breans sprouts a good mix?
My only concern would be your geckos eating a centipede, and the centipede being poisonous (as some are). Bean sprouts are an interesting idea, though you'd get bean stalks in no time most likely :D All in all: yes, but research what kind of centipedes are non-poisonous, and which kind of woodlice like the same climate as your geckos (temp/humidity). The white dwarf woodlice often get used as terrarium cleanup crew, so those probably work.
So theres a song called centipede, its an agressive electro type genre So maybe you should name the centipede after one of the creators of the song, Rob or Gareth
I caught 2 centipedes the other day. Put them in a container I got from the pet store. Got spooked by a centipede crawl on my foot in the shower. Then went to dump the container I had them in and didn’t see any centipede 😂
Check out my Ebook, It’s perfect for beginners!

You inspired me to build a terrarium for my daughter, she was so stunned. Thank you 🙏
Make yt short on it showing picture pls
You put your daughter in a terrarium? 😨
@@olivierl2172 dude 😂
Love to hear this!
Better be at least a 20 gallon if you’re gonna fit a child in there 👍
Your work inspired me to make my own terrarium. It's so much fun watching all kinds of insects grow in it.
Thats really cool! What soil did you use?
These spring tails are probably always super happy when they get picked to live in a terrarium xD

That glass container is cool. The rounder shapes always look the best on terrarium or aquariums in my opinion.

This is my favorite build of all time, i love the idea of it being in the middle and not built up on the sides.
Lovely build as always. I'm sure the little guy, I mean ferocious predator, will be very happy. 😊
Thank you!😅😃
This species does not feel happiness.
I HATE centipedes but watching you put such care into helping it thrive warms my heart just the same. ❤
Love the new video, wish I could visit the room with all terrariums in!
Would love to see a desert world for a scorpion, or tarantula!
Love the design. Very neat and simple
Thank you!
Obviously.... That centipede needs to be called Bob.

Serpa design has done terrarium updates after years :) i recommend his videos .
Beautiful piece! So want to create pieces like this!
Pom-Pom a cute name for a cute lil guy❤❤
That is an enchanting piece! Alone it is perfect. ❤ and Fred is a great name 😊
Plz make another waterfall paludarium
The terrarium looks like a dormant volcano ❤
Simba the centipede. he has his own Pride (lava) Rock.
i think the springtails will be very happy to be part of the ecosystem (circle of life)
Boosting for the algorithm 🙌 Love your work, keep it up! 🌻🐝
that good decoration, if you design with big tanks, I think that very attractive for someone that need rare fish
thanks
Centipedes are escape artists, and they burrow, so keep that lid closed folks! If there's a way out, they'll learn about it!
I love all of your videos, I hope you make some videos touring us all of your terrariums❤
I’m terrified of Centipedes but the terrarium was a delight to witness
I think the best way to get more people into terrariums is making a kit with everything they need
Serpa the centipede has nice ring to it 😀
Those "venomous claws" are called TOXICOGNATHS! 😊❤
This is insanely cool
You deserve million sub😢
What caused the mist? It made the terrarium hauntingly beautiful. Is the mist harmful if not released?
Hi i love your videos. I made one of terrarium ideas and its growing. It already been 1 month😊😊
Yeah, I built one with a 7 inch centipede that feeds on isopods
My daughter is gonna freak, she rewatches these constantly 😁
This is fantastic..I really love to make terrarium...thanks for giving us ideas..
The super glue and tissue is smart but also baking soda and super glue works to create a mix similar to plastic and can be sanded down and painted to fox alot of things
wow, creative and make a good terrarium...
Name it Venom
Can I add isopods into this ecosystem I really need to know this is for a school project?
I'm so glad i found this! Also I think a good name for our little friend could be Tawny :D

You should get a stone Centipede so it's more comfortable with the lava rock
Yay an apex predator in a terrarium ❤
Superglue will leech chemicals and fumes for a long time doesn't matter if it'd fully cured or not
Great vid!! Quick question - when watering the bromeliads is it necessary to use some sort of mineral water? Thanks!
Please make a bonsai ecosystem for an animal you see fit!
Do you have to add supplementary food to this or do the springtails reproduce enough for a constant food source
Your terrariums are so cool i wish i could make one but if i could do you have and tips?
Very lovely, call it Roger.
i always love your vids there so cool❤
Thanks!!😃
Beautiful!!
For the springtails, how to store them, or what is the best way to keep them, in my country seller keep them in coco fiber.

Finally! We got the bug!
Also how often should you mist this ecosystem?
How often if ever do you test the pH of the soil? What is an ideal pH level for a bioactive enclosure?
This guy is good
Wonderful but won’t your tiny predator wipe out the springtails and you’ll lose you clean up squad?
Sooo beatiful
nice one bro
Thanks!
I can’t be the only one who’s spotted the upside down praying mantis in one of terrariums in the back

Cam you use isopods as well ?
That terrarium is real pretty, but when you finally put the centipede in my skin started crawling. I have fear of centipedes 😅
Is a substrate barrier neceserry? In the other video you put soil, grift and sand without it.
I thought you were actually put a Scolopendra in there... by the way centipedes cannot climb glass so you didn't have to block the holes on the lid
It’s awsome
does the terrarium have to be this big? can I make it in a smaller airtight jar?
Nice
I love ur vids
Thank you!
@TerrariumDesigns your welcome and i just finished ur vid and i really like the build
Would you recommend changing the screen out every so often so it doesn't rust? DO they rust?
They shouldnt rust with proper drainage, the plants play a part for that, they should last for a few years im sure before decomposing.
Trying to find a predator for this, any suggestions?
How do you cut the acrylic to size for the lids?

super cool! where did you buy the centipede?

@@aristology6912is that a store?
What do you use to make the terrarium foggy?
I think that was just the steam build up from evaporation, he did have a 12 hour LED cycle after all
Nope im 100% sure it wasnt, i have something just like it and it never happens. instead everthing just condensates@@ChowdiusPupperMemusII
Centipedes are underused as predators in terrariums. What could be the reasons?
They give me the absolute creeps
Bro the mantis in the background
I will name it Teepy.

First comment with first view ❤
Make terrarium for jumping spider
leave them alone for a hundred years like fine wine, and see the slight genetic drift
anyone here? is that a fog of oxygen at 8:13?
No oxygen is almost always clear, that is just fog from the water
Name idea: You should name it flame
