- In this video I'm turning a mini tank into a nano paludarium! This basically means its part terrarium & part aquarium! The mixture of plants & mosses I i used in this build really helped to create a super natural look, what better way to bring a snippet of nature indoors!? Hope you enjoy the video:)

The best use of duckweed! It scales so well in there!
Thanks! Yes it does really help with the scale:)
Forgot to mention i added springtails to keep on top of any mould.
Hope you enjoy!
Is it essential to add springtails ?
yes@@OweeennnnLG
@@OweeennnnLGif you want to reduce the chance of mold and keep it clean then you should add. My reply is 8 months old so probably not helpful by now but others looking can learn
The simplicity of this build leads to it’s great elegance. Terrific! 👍🏼
Thank you!
The final product is beautiful ! and yes it's relaxing seeing the whole process
Thank you so much!😃
Omg just found you! While looking for ways to make a terrarium!!
You find the most beautiful pieces of woods to use ❤❤❤
💚💚
Oh my god. Hes the GOOAAAAAT (of terrarium builds).
Beautiful!!! Just I have a couple questions that are bugging me lol
First: do you keep this paludarium closed? (like with a lid or something?)
Second: what about mainteinance? and does it grow algae?
finally... what kind of lighting do you use for this setup?
I hope I'm not bothering too much 😅
It was such a relaxing video🥹💕The end was amazing.
Glad you liked it:)
So lovely! It was very relaxing to watch your careful process. Thank you.
glad you enjoyed it! thanks for watching:)
Your so talented and clear in direction!
I am bought my first 6l jar and can't wait to get started. Definitely, going to be watching your videos for guidance 😊
Thank you so much! I’m glad you find the videos helpful:)
Lovely! So relaxing to watch the videos.
How much does it cost (roughly) to make something like this? I know you already have a lot of supplies/plants left over from other builds, but if you wouldn’t mind including a rough estimate of the cost of the builds in the description, it would be much appreciated.
I’m really inspired by your videos and am interested in getting started, and would like to have a rough idea of how much it would cost to do a first successful build.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations with us! Your videos brighten my day!
I absolutely love this build.
It has inspired me to do my first build based around this.
Thank you
Hey man do you know where i can buy this type of mini tank?
5:08 I like your tools. Nothing fancy at all but still useful
do you need to water the plants or you dont ? Like if its gonna live its own life
The tree fern panels acts as a wick & keeps all the moss and plants damp. I do however give it a little spray every now & then if they plants/moss look dry
@@TerrariumDesignsnice that you took the time to answer them. So many don't bother!
(Santa knows!!!!😊)

wow .... so beautiful!
I really love your work. Been watching you videos for 2h now. I want to do something small like this, like a beginner. What size is this tank? I know you build it yourself, but still trying to find something similar. But most small tanks I find are horizontal. I'd like a vertical one. And also could I use a acrylic one? Or needs to be a glass one? Thanks in advance. ☺️
Looks amazing, great work! I love how it turned out
Thank you so much!
@@TerrariumDesigns hey could you give me some help on some things to put in vivarium
Beautiful 👍
Thanks!
This wo7ld be great for a small frog habitat
that looks amazing, i really like your video
Thank you so much!
So adorable! Id love to make one. Dont know where to get all those plants though.
Woo that cool
Thanks!:)
This is the way
How would you change the water without missing up all your lively work?
I have a long type I use as a syphon :)
Muito bonito o seu trabalho parabéns
Thank you!
WOW
Im not sure what im doing wrong. I made a similar paladarium but i just get an explosion of mold despite using store bought moss, spider wood and just generally sterilized items. any sorta wood i add to my terrariums just leads to mold . the only exception i found is cork wood. any tips?
springtails
What's a good alternative plant for Bucephalandra Kadagang?
Amazing and extremely beautiful. How is the water maintenance? Doesn't it turn green? algae?
Hey, I’m planning to make one. Do you recommend to have a lid? And will this survive on a shelf that gets indirect sunlight or will it need a LED light?
Yes I’d recommend a lid as it’ll limit the amount of evaporation & also keep humidity high. Indirect sunlight will work great:)
@@TerrariumDesigns thanks bro
That looks amazing. Good job!
Where did you get the tank from?
Thanks! I actually made it myself😃
@@TerrariumDesigns That's awesome
Thanks! Maybe I’ll do a video on how to build the tank itself🤔
@@TerrariumDesigns That would be interesting :)
@@TerrariumDesigns WE would LOVE that! It looks incredible
Why didn't you glue it backwards then turn it over, so you don't see the glue?
How often do you need to change the water in a pallidarium that isn’t running a pump?
I change it every week or so😃
Is the top open or lidded? Do you have to change out the water?
good questions! yes, there is a lid that sits on top, if it were open the plants towards the top would be prone to drying out. I’ve been doing a water change every week or so just to keep algae at bay
nice bro
Thank you!
Hello! Thank you for such an educational post! Can I check what is the purpose of the aqua soil? Because I noticed none of the plants are planted in it!
Thanks for watching! With time the plants roots will grow down into the aqua soil where they can pull nutrients:)
@@TerrariumDesigns thank you for replying! Looking forward to more of your videos :)
Where does he buy those kind of cuboid glass containers? Can someone help me
Keren ya
How often you chage the water?
about once a week at the moment:)
Do you have any suggestion for alternative to tree fern panel? They are just too expensive and can’t afford these materials.
You can do it without the tree fern completely but a small section of flat cork bark would be a cheaper alternative that still looks great
May i know what is the brand of your glue?
How/where did you build/purchase the tank?
What animals can live inside of that
This is very small so nothing too big. It’s only home to springtails & a snail at the moment:)
Watt tarrarium do you use plsssss I need it
Does the water not stagnate ?
I would like to live there.
Me too!😅
Glass size
Do you spray them often or does the condensation just wet the plants on the wall?
for the most part the high humidity takes care of the moss and plants, but I do very lightly spray the moss/plants at the very top every week or so.
Tengo una duda ¿El agua no se pudre por falta de movimiento?
The plants help it stay clean & I change the water every week to keep it clean. Good question though!
the size of the aquarium plisss??
Looks more like pico!
how to prevent watermarks from the moisture and water inside?
they are due to minerals in the water, you can use RO water which will minimise the water marks. Or you can scrape them off:)
Tank size? I’ve been looking everywhere for something around the same one.
It’s a 1.6 litre tank (10cm x 10cm x 15cm)😃
size of this tank?
Please tell me which light you use?
For this one it’s just under a cheap led aquarium light
Do you have to have a light on this?
yes it’s kept under led lights:)
What's the size of the tank
it’s roughly 10cm x 15cm (1.6 litres) (0.35 gallons)
how do you get theplants?
Hi. Is it closed?
Yes it had a lid:)
What's the size of this tank?

What is Tank size 👆
It’s a 1.6 litre tank (10cm x 10cm x 15cm)
А какой свет?
It sits under a budget LED strip light
Could you also place some small fish in it?
Unfortunately I think this one is a little bit too small for fish. Maybe I should build a bigger paludarium that can house some fish🤔
Only thing I would put is snails if you really want an animal, its way too small for fish even if you filled the whole thing with water
It wouldn’t be very kind to the fish, even if the fish were tiny. The volume of water in there for a fish to swim around in would be extremely small, and that would bring a whole lot of problems.
Id recommend getting a small plastic or glass fish and put it in the water if you want to 🙂

what is the water you use to fill it up? i hope anyone reply cause im new in building one. thanks!
