    I like how he was like "I'm not gonna go through every single patch like this" and then proceeded to get swept away by how good every patch was.
    Nice to see that Paul is very excited about Solstice! :)

    Was grocery shopping while listening to the Elders section. Boy, was that a weird experience. Like existing in two totally different universes at the same time.

    I hate Spitfire walkthroughs and demos. Well, technically my wallet hates them - because I just watch them, listen to them and then sigh and download them. Never once been disappointed.

    " Oh mercy, I have succumbed to the very thing I said I wouldn't succumb to " I have a weakness, and that weakness paid and downloaded this. New commission already for a 10 part series. Oh how I must kerb my enthusiasm. 🤓🎶🧐👌

    i wish we could have got more of a look at the legatos and playing solo melodies. i love the sounds in here and i get that three everything i could ever dream of for writing chordal stuff but im trying to decide which of these higher end libraries to get and i really want a good amount of ability to play solo melodies as well as chordal stuff. Anybody have any thoughts?

    Hi Paul! I was surprised to find that some patterns/chords/strums are not transposable! Is this really the case? How can they be useful when needed in a project which has a different key?
    I compare this with, for example, the Vocalise library. It has patches sampled in a certain key, but then one would use key switches to change to a desired key.

    This thing needs a modern interface. The non-scaleable bitmap stuff is a pain to work with. For that price tag more effort should be but into the graphical user interface, which is the bridge between the user and the instrument.

    pads.pads pads pads and more pads. oh... and drones. some people actually compose melodic music you know? shorts are the same as all their other libraries and I bet those "motors" sound awful at anything other than 120bpm at which they were recorded... probably why he didnt change tempo. yawn... Try playing some Ravel with this, mate ;)

  • @FrancisBourre

    Don't want to be rude, but you talk too much. Would enjoy in the future a parallel walkthrough with music only (and written text) to keep the vibe for hypersensible people.

    • @FrancisBourre
      @FrancisBourre 3 роки тому +2

      Yeah, I guess it depends on your sensibility. I generally don't like people commenting sound or music, same for movies, it breaks the immersion and the experience. As mentioned Steve, I would prefer a Spitfire playthrough to discover a library for the 1st time, and get some explanations after, like director's comments on a DVD.

      Well, normally I dislike any talk on sample library presentations, but I always look forward to and enjoy Paul’s inspiring walkthroughs, which often gives me new ideas of using a specific library
