This video is just beautiful all around. Because, while Okutampe has his own channel, this video wasn't made to promote him or his channel. This is him creating visual art in the park for all to enjoy. Most juggling like this is thought up on the spot and the music only escalates it. His showmanship, the crowd participants, and most of all the video quality it's just phenomenal. This person's camera truly recorded a beautiful moment many would have missed out on.
This is nostalgic to look back upon! I found this video years ago when I became interested in contact juggling after watching Labyrinth (contact juggling was prominent in the movie) as it is my favourite movie of all time. Love watching this again, thank you for keeping this video on the internet!
I watch this video when I'm feeling down or unmotivated. I try to watch other contact juggling videos but I keep coming back to this one. I love how simple and pure it is, just a single shot that focuses on the performer. Every other video I see isn't about the performer but the video guy's new dslr and his super neat editing style >
It is one of the most challenging and advanced forms of juggling to master... Much more creative than toss juggling and more interesting towatch and perform in my opinion.. I am partial to contact juggling as my favorite although I also toss juggle and push juggle with 3 balls.. I also really love spinning plates..it's a blasty blast.. 🤡
Without doubt, he is one of the most skilled contact jugglers in the world and makes it effortless with his humour to boot. Such a pleasure to revisit this incredible performance, time after time. It is pure magic.
Came back to this video after almost ten years. It brings back lots of memories. I used to watch it to keep me focus when I did my assignment when I was studying a degree at university.
I love how he handled the woman who got in the middle of his scene. She was an idiot, but he wasn't ruffled. He treated her well, gave her a little moment, and got her out of there without being harsh.
I've been contact juggling for three years and this guy still never ceases to amaze me! Even though I can dissect every one of these tricks ad perform most of them, I'm still mesmerized every time I watch his videos.
When that woman gets in his way, he gives her the ball as if to say: "Leave the tricks to me bitch and get out of my way" but in a polite and subtle way
The song, the choreography, the musicality, his energy. This is truly the best contact juggling performance ever recorded to this day over a decade later
Just want to thank you for doing what you do on such a magical level and sharing it with the world. You inspire me and many others I'm sure. Thank you!
Yoyogi park is definitely an interesting place! You can spot so many talented performers like this guy there. Thank you for posting the music info! I love them too :)
it's a very skillful guy, the old white woman don't respect his art and only want to appear in the camera of her friend. Very selfishness attitude that you can see more and more in a society of consumers.
It was so cute how he included the audience in his performance. Like the guy he asked for 'help'. Or the lady who accidentally walked on stage. Real adorable.
I just saw him yesterday live. Amazing, and he did quite a bit of other stuff with rings and such, which was completely mesmerizing and unbelievable. Music was live by Koji Matsumoto and Reo Matsumoto. The mixture was nothing short of pure magic.
"while mediocrity only acknowledges itself, talent recognizes genius." anyone ever hear this quote? It means those of you that have worked hard to accomplish stuff in your life realize what this guy has devoted to this art called contact juggling. Those who haven't cant see that this guy is any more talented than themselves. please don't hate something just because you cant do it yourself. Why do i respect this guy? I have learned how to juggle AND contact juggle and recognize this as skill.
I did one time! He has a website, I found it pretty easily. He replied almost the next day, and even sent me a picture. Okotanpe is my hero, and I hope that when I grow up, I can be just like him.
...and i posted it on FB almost a year ago and i did it again :-) i just love this video som uch.it is really the hhole package together.the guy,the song and his skill.
3.3 million+ people would´ve loved to be there watching this, and yet so many just passed by without even looking at this great artist. Oh what an odd world we live in.
He handled the interruption of that woman like a true street performer and gentleman. His routine and skill is amazing, I've never seen anyone this good and I belong in the CJ community. I hope to catch him in Tokyo when I go visit!
My fav part is to see that he's happy and smiling when he does it.
S i m p
Imagine if someone started crying next to him.. he could catch every teardrop and gently let it down to the ground
djfunkychicken Could he? Nice
+djfunkychicken hahahaha good one, that made my day

Same here.
It has been already 6 years, since I first saw this video. This guy can still create a smile on my face and calm my soul :)

Quite relaxing. Ironically, it takes thousands of hours practice and hundreds of thousands of drops to be that masterful.
12 years later.. I still come back to this video from time to time… Asmr before the hype

Aside from being very talented, he seems like a very warm, lovely person! :). I hope he gets plenty of recognition for his talents.
I remember this video from such a long time ago. Nostalgia

Same. His showmanship always inspires me
This is the guy I aspire to. I've only just started my contact juggling journey but I watch this video to be inspired and amazed.
Hey! Did you end up continuing contact juggling?
After watching this I bought some balls to learn, this shiznit is hard, he makes it look so easy and fluid.
hows it going?
Little circles on your palm and relaxing your hands is the key to fluidity

I love Contact juggling. I especially liked how this guy was smiling in the performance and involving his audience--clever, and very fun.
I love how happy he looks. He obviously loves what he does and it shows through his smile and amazing skills.
This is magical. I can't even imagine how many hours he's put into honing that skill. Very impressive.
I love his play with the crowd. great performance!
I love this video. Randomly popped back into my memory. Watched this over a decade ago.
Without doubt, he is one of the most skilled contact jugglers in the world and makes it effortless with his humour to boot. Such a pleasure to revisit this incredible performance, time after time. It is pure magic.
he looks so in his element when he´s juggling, wow, I´d love to feel like that, also he was amazing
The way he performs along with the music almost makes it seem magical. Loving it!
He made all that rolling on his arm look effortless, that was amazing!
Came back to this video after almost ten years. It brings back lots of memories. I used to watch it to keep me focus when I did my assignment when I was studying a degree at university.
I showed this to my mum and blew her mind. It still blows my mind. Always will. So FNG amazing
I love how he handled the woman who got in the middle of his scene. She was an idiot, but he wasn't ruffled. He treated her well, gave her a little moment, and got her out of there without being harsh.
You think maybe he just didn't care? Some people just genuinely don't get annoyed that easily.
@@selfactualizer2099 i get that some ppl dont care but i dont understand that. i get annoyed quick too. she was an early karen.
i love how graceful he is whn the lady just walks into his act xD hes like : : D whateva! take eet!

I remember watching this video over 8 years ago and there have been many contact juggling videos made since then, but this one is my favourite still
I've been contact juggling for three years and this guy still never ceases to amaze me! Even though I can dissect every one of these tricks ad perform most of them, I'm still mesmerized every time I watch his videos.
I never thought it was possible for a guy to be able to contact juggle balls better than my ex wife.. until I saw this video that is.
Hahahha
Talavera jr what was the point of saying that? you dick
that's unfair, I got arrested when I was playing with my balls in public
Yours must of not been made from crystal
I legit laughed at this
Why
Ohhhh I get it now
Sukhi Rai 😂😂😂😂😂😂
How about pictures after the show, Lumpy Tourist Lady.
I am loving this. Not sure how I stumbled on this video but I am going to learn this art form. Awesome.
this is so great. this videos follows me now for around about 10 years, still my favorite music
how beautiful
could easily be aang the last airbender playing with an air ball
When that woman gets in his way, he gives her the ball as if to say: "Leave the tricks to me bitch and get out of my way" but in a polite and subtle way

That lady was weird though....just moving into the middle of his performance..... obviously wanted a picture or something.....
I think she is a Karen before Karens even existed

What a great magical performance! I have hope that I want to come Inokashira-park him as a special performer.
It was so cute how he included the audience in his performance. Like the guy he asked for 'help'. Or the lady who accidentally walked on stage. Real adorable.
What's the song name?
Sport: Contact Juggling
Location: Japan
Skill Level: Asian
At first I was like "meh".
Then I was like "O_o".
7 years later, and I'm still mesmerized by this...
That was amazing, and this guy has a very awesome attitude that seems to emanate from him and I feel contributes a lot to his performance!
4:22 a wild pokemon appears
Waitaminnit... that's not David Bowie....
Actually it was Michael Mochen's hands that did this in the movie Labyrinth, he is the originator of this art form.
Wow, he is really talented. Good job on the updates to the video.
Now, have you given him any of the ad revenue that you've collected from this video?
This is so gorgeous! I hope this man is still doing this :)!
The best clip i've watched so far
I can do that with blood.
i lol'd
I laughed way too hard at this.

This guy and Kelvin Kalvus got me into contact juggling a few years ago. Give it a go, great fun and I only gave myself one black eye in the process.
That is too cool! He seems like he would be a cool person to hang out with. :)
Wow, rotseken really did alot of research for the viewers, thanks for that!
3:10-3:14....perfectly suited to the music....great choreography.
