As skilled as he was, he's still human and he's still subject to "styles make fights" Ali struggled most with technical defensive fighters like Norton, Southpaws like Cooper, and agile aggressive fighters like Young. As it happens Usyk is all three of those things. Also Ali was a headhunter, and Usyk is notoriously difficult to hit in the head. I actually think someone like Mike Tyson would be better equipped to deal with Usyk, where he can just punish the body. I'm not saying Ali couldn't beat Usyk but he'd have a horrible, frustrating night with him and if they fought 8 times either guy is getting at least 3 wins.
U Usk has had only 28 fights, whereas Ali and Mike fought almost 60 times when they had 28 fights they were still unbeaten. Now remember Ali beat everyone , he lost to Frasier and Norton beat he beat all of them in rematches. The fact that Ali beat George Foreman in his Prime says it all ,it was against all odds

@@Theboss-tb9nh What?!? Usyk has only fought at heavyweight 5 times. Everyone I mentioned except for Foreman have close to 15-22 title fight wins at heavyweight and are all the best heavyweights. As of now, neither Usyk, Joshua or Fury are top 10 all time great heavyweights. If you think that Usyk is far more skilled, then you don't have much clue.

@@seldom_bucket You do realize that Usyk has bulked up to heavyweight at 6.3 and 231 pounds? That's literally the average heavyweight during the 60s and the 70s. The difference was that the heavyweights back then didn't take steroids or lift weights and they used to cut water weight like the wrestlers. Heavyweights today only look good because it's a weak era and people are hungry for great fighters.
