Never never forget the greatest 3 piece band with the versatility to play blues to punk to reggae to rap to dance hall to DJ. The greatest 3 piece in History!
Him and Eric Wilson are criminally underrated musicians, its awesome to see here in LA how much Sublime has to this day influenced the current underground ska punk scene
@@socalbeeremovalandrelocation woah woah, opinions are opinions, but lets not compare me to that group who shall not be named that says 3 is 1 The audacity. How dare thee

I would suggest this performance to anyone who would ask me of sublimes best live performance. I swear this has to be there best show that i have personally heard on youtube but i could be wrong. Love it either way :D
Patrick King tbh I think he smoked pot before this, you can tell by how he adds a flair to his chords and solos that get a bit lazy let it ring too long, but imo it makes it sound all the better because of his flow from himself to his guitar
Their music is always soundshifting from one style to another - it's so seamless; and they did it with instruments (not a computer) - incredible talent - all of them!
i know it's a cliche, but brad nowell died way, way too early. opiates are no joke, and nothing to mess around with. seek help if you're hooked before it's too late...RIP
Markus Wilson i've heard sublime and spin off bands like juice bros do covers of and cite bands like bad brains, minor threat, minutemen, decendents, bad religion, falling idols, secret hate, rudimentary peni, the ventures, black flag, crass, circle jerks, the germs, butthole surfers. they were contemporary to the west coast 80s punk scene age wise so probably suicidal tendencies, dead kennedys, fear, flipper, crucifix, among others...
I miss slammin'. Do the kids still do it these days? I'd always end up a little beaten up but we always helped each other up when you hit the ground, or you would be run over. Good fun release of aggression....
Actually, amigo, Alton Ellis is the originator of that riff. Check out his track "Mad Mad". :) Yellowman sampled Ellis; Sublime sampled Yellowman. All good stuff!

fullmetalfred
Not the greatest 3 piece, but certainly one of the most unique. Cheers.
Rush is probably the best 3 piece imo
🤘🤘🤘
Primus is up there
Can't forget Jimi Hendrix, Noel Redding, Mitch Mitchell.
Nobody....I mean nobody made music like Sublime.
You're right unfortunately
Bud is so underrated as a drummer, he is so tight. Definitely helped give them their sound.
Every one of them are fucking masters of their crafy
Him and Eric Wilson are criminally underrated musicians, its awesome to see here in LA how much Sublime has to this day influenced the current underground ska punk scene
It honestly makes me sad that i will never get to see Sublime perform live. Brad will be forever missed!
brad nowell was amazing, but i hate how everyone leaves out Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, because they were amazing as a trio
Man they were fucking amazing - all of them
@@socalbeeremovalandrelocation nah they all made sublime what it was. None are replaceable
2+2=5 now I agree. OK you are right. You are the almighty one that equals 3
