@brokenacoustic Awesome man & you are more than welcome, it’s my pleasure. And, can you even believe how insanely good this cassette sounds even though it was recorded in 1988!? Freaking 36 YEARS AGO!! 😳 I’m glad that you were so stoked on this. I try my best to put up some really cool & rare stuff for ya when I can find the time. So, keep your eyes peeled! And, if you ever want (or need) anything from Sublime, I got you, just hit me up. I literally have everything & then some. You would be blown away at some of the rare OGs that I have,… my house is like a damn Time Machine over here. lol 😂 🫵 Cheers my brother, GMan 🤙
@@sublimegman The sound quality is indeed pretty much perfect, considering it was probably done on an old 4 track recorder, whoever mixed it did a pretty darn good job lol Glad youre around, I'll have to dig through my album collection and see what I'm missing that you might have!

Brilliant!🫵👏😎 I’m so stoked that this moved you in that way & brought back such a legendary memory. If you ever would like something from the band, just let me know. I pretty much have everything that the guys ever did & I’d be more than happy to get you something that you can have & cherish as a keepsake of those good olde days when it really paid off to be down with the band that they call sublime. 🤙

This is absolutely amazing to hear this cassette from 1988! Wow! It is unbelievably crisp and clear. What a voice Bradley had! My Lord. And he was a lyrical genius. Far ahead of his time. Thank you so much GMan. Please keep them coming. 🙌👏👏
Oh my goodness! Play this on a good stereo and it's like Brad is IN the room! Thank you for your generosity in sharing this gem! Romeo is one of my favorites of all time and this version is crispy! ♥️♥️👏
@@ghigg403 Yes, but you can tell the difference in something that was compressed and this cassette. This is FAR better. Much more clear. Also, these demo cassettes (said to have been 4 that Brad circulated) were homemade. These recordings were not made together in a studio session. They were all recorded differently then manually added to the demo cassette and not “mixed” “mastered” etc. - When they were released later, they were digitized, mixed, levels where changed, tones, etc. & then mastered. There is a HUGE difference in what you are hearing here & the subsequent official record company releases. More than is necessary to breakdown for you here, but the most obvious is: recording engineer vs. no recording engineer. That Bradley (and the other members of sublime) did these brilliant recordings on their own and they sound like this, is a testament to their genius and shows that even early on, they were destined for greatness. And, I’m not quite sure if your “comment” was negative or trying to tell GMan that this was nothing “new”, but if it was, you can certainly just go listen to those other recordings, don’t leave snarky comments and keep scrolling.
