This video is really helpful. I love all the details that are often dismissed in other books or instruction videos but hard to know for beginners, such as “putting a maker on the front”, “increasing sts at the first knit right after the ribs”, “do short rows together with raglan increase”
Hi! Thank you so much for your comment! I am very pleased to hear that the video is helpful and that I have managed to include the useful, but often forgotten detils =)
Thank you for making this!!! I loved the tips about having a marker in the front & the details as mentioned in previous comments. It is helpful for newbie knitters who haven't attempted these types of projects and just know the basics! 🥰 4:30 commence awesome!!
Excellent video, everything is perfectly explained and demonstrated slowly enough to follow even for a beginner. I like this top down method for knitting a raglan sweater much better than the “bottom up” method I am using now, where you have to sew the sleeves on. I’m halfway through a raglan and I’m tempted to undo it and start over using your method.
Hi! So happy to hear that you like the video! I like knitting swetars from the top and down too. Easy to adjust sleevelength =) Don't undo it before you have had a look at my video about knitting raglan bottom up ua-cam.com/video/xoFFNmSAU1Y/v-deo.html . The method I use there does not require sewing on the sleeves, it is like the top down video in reverse =)
Hi! I have only made the kid size. What you can do is to find a raglan pattern for adult size and follow that for stitch numbers and such and use the video to guide you through it =)
Hi. I want to learn how to do the neck and divide the Raglan sleeve. But you keep referring us to a pattern. Why can’t you just teach what you’re doing. It isn’t any help to me to see you and not know your increases
Hi! In the video I show increases are done and where. The pattern I reffer to is the one you have chosen to knit. This could be any pattern and any size. You find information about stitch numbers and such in the pattern you have chosen to knit, I just show you the technique.
