Absolutely the best instruction ever! A knitter needs to see all tools used in the making of the German short rows. IE: markers. How far to knit etc. Knitting a swatch does not give a true picture. My opinion only!
Thank u! So helpful. Quick question though, with raglan increases, is it true that i increase on the right sleeve on the right side, and then increase on the left side on the wrong side/purl side?
Hi..my pattern says this “Short row 2 (WS): make a double stitch, purl until round marker, sm, *purl until next marker, m1lp, sm, p1, sm, m1rp*. Repeat *-* one more time, p2, turn the work. (4 sts added)” I’m not sure i understand the part “purl until round marker”. The round marker is throwing me off. Would you be able to explain? Thank you.
Hello sorry for a very stupid question . I learn all about knitting on you tube , I am new at knitting . When you do short rows on raglan there Will be more stiches on the back than the front. Do you add the extra stiches on the front later on. Devina
The short rows make it so that there's more rows in the back to help people wear it, because without those extra rows it would probably strangle you at the front a bit (and be uncomfortable). So no, you don't add extra rows later on :)
Great video, so happy to see that I am not the only one who has to frog something more than once.

I agree! I was making it much harder than it needed to be. Thank you for a fantastic tutorial!
Very useful, thanks! It seems so complicated when written down, but is so clear when you see it done.
I’m just completely confused trying to figure this out. Do you start the short rows after you finish the neck ribbing. ?🙏
