Mitral valve prolapse with regurgitation, also known as mitral valve regurgitation, occurs when the mitral valve's flaps don't close properly between heartbeats, allowing blood to leak backward into the left atrium.

Good to know while you are young. I was told years ago that almost 50% of the population has MVP. You are very lucky to have insurance that includes Mayo care. Best luck to you.

I have the same problem im very tired they also covered a hole in my heart and I'm still going. Watch the heat though I will say . It can be dangerous.
