Mayamalavagowla : S R1 G3 M1 P D1 N3 S
Kharaharapriya : S R2 G2 M1 P D2 N2
While Mayamalavagowla has close notes like S-R1 , G3-M1 , P-D1 , N3-S , Kharaharapriya has R2-G2 , D2-N2 .
Some Janya ragas of Mayamalavagowla (Scale wise) are : Lalitha , Jaganmohini , Kamala Manohari , Gambheera Nattai , Bowli
Some Janya ragas of Kharaharapriya are : Abheri , Kapi , Nayaki , Madhyamavathi , Shri , Manirangu

Please check out the 16 swara sthanas in Carnatic music. What you are referring to is a simplified 12 swara sthana classification. What is posted here is correct.
