- This is got to be the most beautiful place in Serbia!
Tara National Park, especially Perucac lake is our favorite place in Serbia so far.
We stayed at Viridian Three Boathouse, and it was amazing.
The nature was spectacular, plus the famous Drina River House at Bajina Basta is not too far away.
We will definitely go back!

Yes. It would be so nice that we succeded to be hiden. This way just few of people gather huge money but all other suffer couse of chorde of tourists. It was so fabolous to grown up near this lake, Drina and Tara alone. In a peace and unique beuty.

No it isnt. Even I as a Serb dont go to Serbia in the summer as too hot, best is May-June or September.

Looking at those images from the viewpoint towards the river and the mountins, I couldn't help but remember the ending lines of the movie American Beauty: "Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst... And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life..."

Long time ago young Robert De Niro was visitor on the same spot. He was delighted with Drina river and named his dougther as well.
It is totally true! :) Now we know why he was soo thrilled with Drina's beauty that named his daughter Drina! 🥰🤗

Our Serbia day is at February 15, so we don't barbeque on snow lol but we do on May 1st, when it is working man holiday, we all get out on almost always nice spring weather and fire the bbq and have parties on open. We call that uranak.

Across the Drina, the Serbian soldiers in WW1 inflicted the first defeat on the Austo-hungarian invaders!!! At that time Serbia had only 3 million people and Austo-hungarians had 52 million people!!! In WW1 Serbia lost a third of its population!!!

Our former allies have become our greatest executioners, and they make an Islamic Jamahiriya from the south of our country!!!
