Hello my lovelies!
Hereโs a new song for you called โWhite Ravenโ.
Different cultures assign different attributes to ravens. For some, they are an omen of impending doom, while others see them as a symbol of hope and wisdom.
As it goes, black ravens symbolise the quest for answers, the void, or the spiritual journey. The white ones, according to some, are usually perceived as a symbol of hope or a miracle. It is said that they serve as โmessengersโ between people and nature. In the Celtic religion, they were associated with prophecy and secret divine knowledge.
Of course, speaking of ravens, I have to mention the two famous helpers of Odin. Did you know that only Muninn, the raven of memory, was black, while Huginn, the raven of thought, was actually white? Some sources claim that they both were originally white and had icy blue eyes. I find it poetic, really - the thought, which goal is to bring about a better future, being white (or โpureโ), and the memory, that contains all the burdens and mistakes of our past, being black (or โdarkโ). Do you find it fitting?
*_Tell me, my dears, what does the raven mean to you? Do you see it as a symbol of good or evil?
I think and believe it represents both sides in accordance to the situation it brings
The raven cannot be evil, because only people are evil.
Hey, Regnum. I sent you an email. Don't know if you got it. I'd appreciate an answer.
Ravens are my favourite birds. I don't see them as evil. Ravens lived in different corners of our planet for centuries. Not all, but some people in the past admired them too, and for me ravens are connection to the past, also to nature and to wisdom, yes. Also mystery and darkness. Even resilience.
I see ravens as symbols of keen mind, of wisdom that comes from deep understanding of your surroundings, that cannot by deffiniton be used for harm
I spent three weeks in Amsterdam and it was exactly like this minus the swans. Drizzling cold 50ยฐF weather and I wouldnโt trade it for anything in the world. Walked in the park, dined in restaurants, and sipped on hot cocoa at the cafes. It was like stepping into this video. Go in the late fall.
Which month did u go?
โโโ@@icebrandforces
This looks much like A'dam, but you'd have to go somewhere less busy for swans. Ducks maybe...! Lol ๐ I lived in Holland for many years and if you like such weather, go after the tourists go home and the prices come down on airfare... maybe late November or early December. And alternative cities? Alkmaar, Haarlem or Leyden? Utrecht comes to mind, but less canals. Helps if you're already in that sort of mood, and nursing a broken heart. A nice walk in the rain on the dijk in Den Helder looking out to sea always helped me, but that's a long story... God bless... en de groetjes door geven, hoor! ๐
@@icebrandforces November.
@@allanbeamer7110 Wonderful. Curious, why did you leave? Or maybe you went to an even better place? I also visited my sister who used to live in Utrecht. Iโve also biked around the border near Belgium. But I prefer cities and towns. I went to Amsterdam twice but the first time the weather was too sunny so it didnโt have dark moody ambience. The second time in November did the trick! This video also reminds me of Brugge, Belgium in Flanders which also has canals.
@@plumeria66 I studied abroad in Utrecht during college and I still miss it like crazy. We also spent time in and out of Amsterdam, The Hague, etc. I was there August through January and it was such a great 6 months to be in NL.
I could spend most of my life within a mile of this scene and not feel like I was ever not where I was created to be. How beautiful.
What a vibe! Only you can make black and creepy so cozy and welcomingโคโคโค
Far and away my favorite go to music while Iโm in the office, this really gets me through the day. I cannot wait for Autumn, Iโm over summer ๐
There comes a point when it just becomes depressing.
I'm right there with you. Autumn is my favorite time of year for so many reasons. And this year I'm set to start it off in Crete. So I really can't wait. I just hope the world holds up long enough for me to get there. I've been waiting my whole life for this trip and Autumn is the perfect time to be there.
@@HerrinSchadenfreude mamma mia I admire Fall too! This music as if invites it and inspires whispering: Hey, Fall, welcome, we're waiting
Summer is just as beautiful all seasons have their beauty with the right perspective each season is to be enjoyed with a little sadness to see it depart until the next season.
For what we miss, for what we've forgotten, for what once was, for what will never be...
~ melancholia eternal ~
๐๐
I get a really cool 5am sort of vibe here when there is no one else walking the streets but me and it's peaceful. I also wonder how cool that would look decked up for Halloween or Christmas.
I've been super scattered and all over the place lately when usually I'm pretty focused and centered. I clicked on this video because I liked the setting, but it really helped me feel calmer and more at peace ๐
I came here looking for the same thing ๐๐
This is so deeply melancholic. Absolutely love this ๐ค
Again, I am in complete awe of the beauty you bring into this world. I admire you so much. Thank you for taking the time to bring such loveliness into an increasingly intolerable world.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
...i love this..instant relaxation..the scenery[being a book lover], and piano lover, ..this takes me to a beautiful realm..thank you.๐
And we love you and your emotionโคโคโค
Obwohl ist gerade gar nicht zur Freude ist, bin ich so froh diese Melodie entdeckt zu haben. Es hilft so gut den angestauten Schmerz raus zu kommen und mit den Trรคnen gehen lassen.
Sometimes you need to remember how to cry, lest you have a mental break. It's good for the soul.
โ@@SpockleeThank you for your attention
Thank you for this. Itโs truly given me an amazing September 4th and so many September and Autumn FEELS! ๐๐ฅฐ I appreciate you.

When you are ready adopt a rescue dog. My rescue dog rescued me. ๐๐
Lovely, beautiful, and most soothing to the ears, eyes, and mind - thank you so much for sharing your excellent gifts.
Ravens and crows hold eternal charm to this bird lover. Other-worldly and mysteriously black but always possessing a unique inner bright light of humor, grace, and wisdom. Fly on, dear birds!
Reminds me of Holland before it was turned into a Tourist Mecca . Absolutely Beautiful .
When I was in Amsterdam visiting, I couldnโt get directions because every person I asked on the street was a tourist like myself.
Amsterdam is history. You can find this now in Utrecht, or maybe Amersfoort.
I would love to be on a rowboat, right there, watching the rain fall on the water.
Don't forget your umbrella ๐๐
So pretty, looks like if Amsterdam and London had a love child
Neh, this is typical Dutch architecture

I love your style, and art. I listen to your music everyday, and i draw or wrote poems, and i sleep to it. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you, I'm glad you find it useful! Wish you lots of creativity and good sleep!
A very gray and rainy Autumnal day where the hues of fall are subdued and the dark structures add to the meloncoly mood and spirit. The music carries one's blues along like on waves on the ocean allowing one to express their subdued spirit, feel it and even relieve it in the end. A thoughtful and expressive video.
I love the picture you chose for this music
Im going there in two months when the leaves start changing, there's nothing like a chilly fall cloudy drizzly day, you can keep your summer and spring with blistering heat and humidity, i don't live far from Princeton NJ and love to walk around those old buildings where the greatest mind that ever lived used to roam, that whole area is just a wonder of early American history, so much of what shaped our country took place in that mid southwestern part of New Jersey.
I so want to be sitting at one of those tables, sipping hot chocolate living my best life!!! Absolute beauty!!!

God, I wanna live there - this place is my soul if it could be expressed in a place on Earth.
The Netherlands probably comes closest.

Perfect thing to be listening to after finishing with work during school
The view is almost too perfect and the melody is stunning and exceptionally calming for a ND mind - everything is just right! Thank you for this gemโฅ๏ธ
For me is kinda romantic and with the music is amazing to enjoy it reading a good book with a glass of wine โคโคโคโค
A quiet, melancholic melody and a breathtaking landscape/surroundings. ๐
Very idyllic with the swans and the peace there. ๐ฆข๐ค๐ฆข
But it makes me sad and, for me, doesn't fit with summer.๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ Also not really in keeping with the story unless you see the white ravens in the swans, which also stand for purity.
As a MV, incomparably wonderful.๐๐ณ๐
It's definitely not a summer vibe, but I cannot help myself - my heart is reaching for the autumn. As for the story, the song is called 'White Raven', and it's Raven Bookstore there, so I wanted to share some information about the bird, to shed some light on the idea behind the song.
And thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the melody!
@@RegnumUmbrae๐บ Oh, that's a real surprise. It's really nice that you explain it.
I thought when I wrote it that you create regardless of the seasons. Well, if your heart can't help it...
I don't have anything against autumn and rainy landscapes either.
Just not all the time.
There are these beautiful places that you choose and you could sit outside. Everything is always so inviting. But the bad weather prevents people from enjoying the surroundings with coffee or tea.
I see Paris or Venice and find it soooo enchanting that you take us there (I've never been abroad) and the idea of โโsitting in a garden restaurant or street cafe and then it rains cats and dogs.....Every now and then I find it a real shame and I get sad. That's because of my daily situation.
I'll accept it because otherwise I'll have to give up your channel.
There's a lot I love about your videos more than anything. I don't want to miss them. I'm always very excited to see what else you come up with.
I read the name of the bookshop and the melody and the story is very interesting.
I only know black ravens and in/from autumn onwards you can hear them a lot in my area. Their plumage shines beautifully, so silky. But their croaking and the fact that there are so many of them makes me feel uneasy.
Thank you for the explanatory words. It's great to know how you put the story and video together.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.โค
thats a deep Vibe, i love it .. i dont know why. The life is Over & Up. - Up & Over :)
It's so beautiful to listen to. But it's also sad as it reminds me of my dad who I lost five months ago and I miss so much ๐ข
My deep condolences, may his soul rest in peace.
Oh come one now... is this a real place? This is excellent.
Remarkable once again.
Lovely, poignant music that is relaxing and emotionally evocative. Thank you so much for posting.
I have just discovered Regnum Umbrae, and your Dark Academia videos, and am simply stunned by their beauty. I see and hear nothing else like this anywhere else - that expresses a mood that I feel but cannot articulate. Thank you so, so much.
This inspires me to return to the piano. And to write. Every video you post hits the way its supposed to. Thank you.
I listen to this while reading the dramione fanfic, Manacled. ๐ถ It's perfect!!

uff...its so beautiful, I love it.
There appears to be a dead or at least neckless swan in the bottom left quadrant at about 5:30. When you say "dark" you mean it!
It's nice to continue my book with this melody, one more atmosphere to record in my playlist
I have been enjoying your rainy bookstore vids but this one is a different vibe. Well done. One of my favs if yours in general is moody autumn studying( you did it about 7/8 months ago) I really love your autumn rain stuff. I'm not into the other ones as much but I know alot of your subbies are. Keep up the good work. Your getting better & better. Can't wait to see what you do this year for Autumn & Winter๐๐โ
Would be nice if this place in Amsterdam really existed!
And if it would be quiet like this. But hey winter times are coming. Now you can finally sit somewhere inside with a nice cup of coffee when it's all grey and rainy xP and perhaps something to smoke :')
Give us a few masterpieces while you have life and breath. Go beyond the loop into the deep dive. It sounds like you have it in you. Even the loop here does not wear itself out like so often. It holds a deep dark melodic savor.
Such relaxing music! It also makes me a bit sad as well.
Murky, misty days and coldness of autumn make us focus on pensiveness, allow us to delve into deeper thoughts about transcience and loneliness, and yet its not depressing state of mind but true relaxation and detachment from chaos of daily life. A season for cold mists of autumn is like a call for new adventure, a foray into lands of cold intelect in which we can put together cosmic puzzles of high ideas without our emotional and egoistic strives of daily life. :)
Nicely done.... just wish this was a real place to visit
BRO BOOK STORES ARE SO FIRE

Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Utrecht also, but on a lesser scale. And then Brugge, Belgium to a lesser extent, which is another spectacular place filled with ambience.
