Hello my lovelies! Here’s a new melody for you called ‘An Old Soul’. Today I’d like to share a few more quotes about books: 1. “Books are like imprisoned souls till someone takes them down from a shelf and frees them.” - Samuel Butler 2. “The beautiful thing about reading old books is realising all your struggles aren’t a ‘you’ thing, but a human thing.” - Atticus 3. “The buying of more books than one can read is nothing less than the soul reaching toward infinity…” - A. Edward Newton 4. “The reading of all good books is like a conversation with the finest minds of past centuries.” - Descartes 5. “I am a part of everything that I have read.” - Theodore Roosevelt. Also, just a fun fact. Did you know that there is a word ‘a book hangover’? It means either the feeling you get as the result of staying up too late last night reading a book; or it is a depression that rolls over you after you have finished a book. The latter might keep you from reading other books for days or even weeks. *_Tell me, my dears, how do you feel about old books and antique bookstores? Also, what book gave you a ‘book hangover’?_*
I enjoy going through antique book stores and like old books. Though I do get sad seeing the old tomes in such states of disrepair As for the book hangover inquiry. In the classics sense. I would probably say that dracula gave me book hangover it was a tough one to get through. For a horror novel it did not feel scary at all
I am so touched by what you wrote! ❤❤❤yes, books in front of you are waiting for you to read, sometimes it is really like a gentle wind blowing your heart and let you calm down and feel better …………………thank you for your words and music!🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
It feels like being home. The space, the smell, the inmense opportunities of get lost in a different story everytime you walk in a bookstore. The book that caused me hang over was Thomas Harris's The Silence of the Lambs and William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist.
Old is gold...i think old books are like kind of time travelling...antique bookstores are fantastic too...what you wrote in number one from Butler is brilliant!!so lets free these souls by reading them...i cant distinguish any book...❤
I just discovered you, It's nice to see that there are people other than me who feel the gloomy weather, darkness and pleasurable sadness and that there are people who can visualize it music and visuals affect me deeply, don't quit this job
There is nothing like holding an actual paper books in my hand. I love wandering amongst the bookstore and picking up random books, admiring the book covers that look interesting or the book titles that sound intriguing, like a mystery waiting to be solved. These are special encounters of the best kind.📖
Forty years ago, when I was a struggling illustrator I often go to bookstores just to look at the titles and artwork of book covers, dreaming that one day I would write a book or do a book cover. Antique bookstores are a favorite haunt, literally. Felt like a ghost walking through dark and dusty aisles, and very old books. You could almost feel like walking back in time. During those times I have also shared my artwork and writing online, reaching and connecting with a worldwide community. Ten years ago I started doing my first book covers. I was invited to write and illustrate a chapter in a history book. Last year one of my favorite authors reached out to me. I have now done book covers and artwork for an author I have been reading for the last forty years. Now when I walk through a bookstore, some of my work are now a part of that world. As I am working on a new book, with your music in the background, I want to thank you for this.
I just returned from London and Oxford, where I had the rare privilege of an invitation to the library at Magdalene College to see a special exhibit about C.S. Lewis; a collection of his writings and personal objects. The displays were astonishing but so too the beautiful archive of carved wooden shelving in filtered light, each book leather bound and none seemingly younger than from the turn of the last century. Many were far older. The beautiful scent of Old Books filled the air up to the tall ceiling. I should so much have liked to have opened even one small volume, but even seeing them was such an honor. This music is evocative of that visit and the many other places I walked, humbled to have chased the shadows of far greater minds and reminding myself that there is still plenty of time to continue learning. Never stop learning...
I had a pleasant surprise, I discovered that if I play this type of video while I work I feel calmer, more productive, more focused and reduce my anxiety about talking to people. Thank you very much.
This is where’d I’d spend most of my off days, hot coffee beside me, typing away on my laptop as I work on my book, surrounded by even more books, and this music playing overhead. The perfect place for a quiet existence. 📚 ☕️🎶
@@phillipproussier3723 Yeah I’m writing a book I hope to release this September. I like writing despite how tedious it can be at times. Without spoiling, I can tell you it’s a space themed anthology. Hope you and anyone ya know that loves to read will consider. ☺️
Today, there is a question that is particularly burning on my mind. Are these overwhelming and so fitting melodies composed specifically for the video that has just been shown 💯? Or have they been around for a long time and a suitable one is chosen from a large selection? I am completely blown away when I listen to the melodies. Whether individually or as a playlist. Thank you for today.💕 Have a nice weekend!🎡🛶🏞🏖
Thank you for your question! Each melody is created specifically for each video. The compositions correspond to the topics, same as the mini stories. That's music to my ears to heat you love them so much. Have a lovely weekend as well!
@@RegnumUmbrae Many thanks for the quick reply. I'll be thinking about what I've read for a while. Either you compose very quickly or... But that will remain your secret. I think it's all very time-consuming. Melody, story - maybe gathering information about it - maybe browsing through books etc.😉🙄, then creating the video.... You have all my admiration.🤗😍 Good night (it's almost 11:30 p.m. here)🌝
I love the fact that rain is always part of relaxation, rain and its sound, mixed with this melody! Thank you regnum for this amazing combination. I love it that the videos are not very bright 😍😍
