Man you've been crushing it with completing games! I'm still fully invested in my Trails replay, so that's been taking all my time... which means 2025 will probably have to be the year of the backlog for me! 😅
Nice work! I had a goal of 50 games this year. Then everything came to a grinding halt when I took on Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and now Unicorn Overlord. That 50 number is growing increasingly difficult to attain.
I can definitely get that!! I have a few longer games in my backlog that are going to be next to complete, and I definitely think that they’re going to slow me down a bit in the long run! But I believe in you!!!
Finishing a game you started years ago 100% counts as being checked off the backlog. Personally though I don't like doing that with RPGs. I did that with my first playthrough of Breath of Fire IV and it was such a long time inbetween that I was heading in the wrong direction on the world map for like the first couple of hours😅lol
I just found your channel and I love you! I feel like we are similar so I relate to you and we have similar taste in games. :) I hope all is well with you amd yours!
Nice topic. I've thought about making a video on this topic, but I need to learn how to make better videos first. That's awesome that you're playing Trials & Tribulations, such a great game!
Unicorn Overlord does have an art book, but it was only included in collectors edition. Other than that it looks like it's just the Japanese strategy guide.
I told you I'd come back to check out your videos 😉 I've never played any of the Phoenix Wright games but I used to love the Professor Layton games. I've not actually picked up a Switch game at all in a while now as I'm still slugging away at FF7: Rebirth at the moment. I will definitely pick up Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door though as it's one I missed on the GC back in the day. Are we going to get your FFX review anytime soon or is it still in the backlog?
Finally beat Mario Wonder ! Currently playing Kirby Return to Dreamland , I still got Zelda: Links Awakening, Skyward Sword, Tears of the Kingdom, Metroid Prime, Megaman 11 and Bowser Fury 😅 I don’t want to even mention my ps5 library lol
Such a great list! Tokyo mirage session is my fav game on the switch 🥰 i love its battle system and characters with Ellie coming on top. As for Unicorn overlord, i fear it to be too tedious to manage all those units and battle formation. The other games you're mention are not a buy for me
I have yet to finish a game story completely in my life lol i get bored halfway through everything. But got my 3ds xl 2 weeks ago and I've progressing through fire emblem awakening, pokemon y and ace attorney, it has been very fun
Some banger games for this one! Unicorn Overlord is my definite GOTY so far, and I really need to get back to Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Maybe after BG3. I also need to do more than just pride flag animal stickers in Sticky Business 😅
As someone whose fav childhood nostalgic game is Super Princess Peach, I was looking forward to Showtime very much! I think it was really creative and unique, but I feel pretty much the same as you! Inconsistency between levels, and the third level was sometimes worse than the second lol. And the performance issues were pretty hard to ignore, and that’s from someone who’s not really sensitive to that kinda stuff!
I’m on a big visual novel/otome game kick this year, I played Nightshade, Norn9, and now playing Code:Realize! So far it’s incredible! Have you ever played otome games?
Great video, Alex!!! So many games here! You are killing it!!! KUDOS!
Thank youuuuuu!!! I’m trying my darndest!!

Love all the crochet pieces I can see. Can we get a crochet tour?
Such a cool mix of games! I loved hearing about each game and your journey from start to finish. A great Year so far!
Love these quick reviews! And you've really been cruisin' through some AWESOME games!!
Eeee thank you!! They’ve been mega fun to do!!
I thank you

You've inspired me to pick up my copy of Tokyo Mirage again 😁
I liked Tokyo Mirage quite a bit. The combat was incredible but I honestly can't remember a single thing about the story except the really cool intro.
That is VERY fair-the story is definitely meh, but the combat is a standout in my opinion! So fun and colorful!

That would be so cool if you went on the spawncast

I loved Unicorn Overlord as well! I'm excited for you to play 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim because the story there is where its at
I am SO pumped-I might have splurged and picked this one up recently👀👀
@@qualitea_individual nice 😏 it's so so fun

Listen I definitely got a ~sticker aesthetic~ when playing the game a lot of them were plant/witchy/animal/tea stickers😭😭
Still playing final fantasy 13
Beat Battletoads on the NES
Not a fan of Nintendo but good 👍🏻 for you.

I used to play a LOT of old flash otome games back in like 2010😭😭 it’s definitely a genre I want to give more of a go though!!
You're really cute 🥰
