  • This is the first in person review of mine since the Renault 4CV video, which seems a long time ago now, so its good to check out this car physically and make more of a judgement of my own
I check out this generation of E-class' practicality, engines, interior and of course its striking exterior, as well as seeing how it stacks up to its rivals. That's enough of the summary though, let's get going with the video

Firstly thank you for the review. Though I must disagree with many of your comments. Having owned one for several years I’ve found it to be super reliable, comfortable and a real pleasure to drive, roof up or down. Also my car has covered over 190,000 kms.

Thanks for commenting! I’d agree by saying that the E-class is a very easy car to live with and a good all-rounder. From personal experience, I’d say that an equivalent 4 series is sharper to drive, but the E-class is still a competent car at cornering. The E-class also has other things going for it like the lack of buffeting when the roof is down, which I don’t think I mentioned in the video. Which engine E-class do you have out of interest?

You didn't show the car with the roof down - its a convertible and is meant to be driven roof down! Also, it's not a head light washer - it's a toeing hook on the front bumper. The 12v socket is also still required to power tyre inflators and vacuum cleaners.
