één woord...Bangelijk!!!...Deze groep doet me terugdenken aan de late jaren '70. Ten tijde van de 'Sisters of Mercy'....Echt bangelijke muziek en zelfs origineel te noemen...Dit is Belgisch, mannen!!! Wake up!...Geef deze groep a.u.b. véél 'likes' want...'Clouseau' hangt al jaaaaaren mijn kloten uit!!!...Dus, bij deze mannen en vrouwen...Help deze groep a.u.b...Ze verdienen het!...Ze zijn echt origineel met een prachtige '70 sound...BANGELIJK!

Some call their music Darkwave; bullshit! It's newwave like Joy Division once played in the late seventies, early 1980..... But Whispering Sons create their own sound and above all with their own lyrics and soundscapes and riffs...... I'm 54 years old but when I listen to this I'm feeling like when I first heared JD back in 1979! AWESOME!!! 👍
Dit is gewoon geweldig hoor. Ze doen het gewoon zelf, met invloed uit het verleden ja. Maar wie niet ? Een geweldige band !
het leuke aan een band als whispering sons is dat ze erin slagen om die typische sound uit de jaren '80 tot leven te brengen, in een gloednieuw kleedje te steken en die dus als het ware heruitvinden.. klasse!

Saw them tonight for the second time this year in NIjmegen NL, What a show, absolutely in the top 5 of shows I visited this year. Great performers, great music!

No Sisters Of Mercy, no The Mission, no other goth band ! Whispering Sons have their unique style and power ! Very fresh mixture of energetic and atmospheric sounds ! Very interesting voice of Fenne ! Would like to see their live performance in Poland as soon as possible ! AMAZING !!!

Sounds great , but I hear bands like , The Soft moon , Lebanon hannover , and american goth bands from 90 ties , The wake , Memphisto walz , Rossetta Stone

So powerful, so fresh and new. Of course it reminds me of the early 80s, but this is unique and NEW! I saw them live this year-fantastic!!!! If you have the chance, go and see them! So much energy!
Agreed and with a great sense of "emergency" in their sound & compositions...Saw them in Paris last month & was blown away...I did a review about them on my YT channel but that was prior to see them live, so I added some words about their May 15 gig in PARIS tonight...love them a lot !

First song, 'Stalemate', says it all. If you don't like Whispering Sons after hearing that track, you probably never will. Great songs, great band.

Toch een beetje de bewegingen van Ian Curtis op het podium. In de muziek herken ik mijn jeugdjaren (Eind jaren '70 en '80) Geweldige muziek.

Le meilleur groupe belge depuis très longtemps ... Je ne sis pas d'accord avec ceux qui font des comparaisons avec les groupes des 80's. L'inspiration est clairement 80's, mais le son est très actuel. Du post "post-punk". Ils ont tout compris des anciens, mais s'inscrivent résolument dans l'actualité.

Exactly. It surprises me how young people go wild on this while they heve no idea who the Sisters where. Just like Bruno Mars. Zillion hits on UA-cam, but al thos e youngster have no idea what happend in the 80's...

While they are so wannabe joy division they alßo made some amazing songs. Love this band.
