TBH if you want scales to last you & not keep buying every few years, get some Reuben Heaton Digitals. £62 and have been around for well over a decade now so tried & tested. Also any issues with Reuben Heaton scales are resolved even out of warranty by the company themselves in Market Bosworth. I am still using the same PP3 battery that I put in my Reuben digitals 10 years ago & still showing at least half power remaining (I do catch fairly often as well before anyone quips otherwise). All Reuben Heaton digitals are calibrated in the UK before being sent out so you know they are going to be accurate. I have weighed fish that the Reuben digitals & dial scales say weighs one weight yet 2 other sets of digital scales from other companies were up to 6oz out either way. I know that the fish I weigh are actually what the Reuben's say it is rather than hoping it is, especially when it comes to bigger fish. In the time I have had my digital Reuben's, friends who have had other digital scales during that time had replaced them several times due to failure of some sort. In the end they went out & bought Rueben digitals or dials.
I’m buy this one and return to shop. Quality of this product is shit. Back panel on 4 screws in plastic… after 3-5 time battery exchange the screws stop holding…
Not the cheapest on the market and seem good quality however don’t let this fool you… After 1 week had to return them as they developed a fault and all the screen would do is light up no display.. I waited almost 3 weeks for Avid to sort them out, I then received a new set 👍 1 month later you guessed it faulty again same fault.. Changed battery and still the same issue… Will be asking for my money back… Take my advice and stay away from these scales…
A rehash of the old fox design. Korum Digitals are £28 I suppose if you want to bolt on nearly £30 for handles more power to you. I'd say are Avid renown for scales I very much doubt it.
@@CaravanCarpers u must have just been unlucky then cos I’ve had mine for the best part of 2 years and they still work perfectly even after being left out in the rain, and I have 3 mates that also have them and never once had a problem with them
Sorry. They're absolute pants. Got a set. Battery went flat within a week. Assumed I'd turned them on by mistake. Human error. Changed the battery and all was well In the world. Anyway. Fast forward 6 months and the battery appears to be flat. I changed the battery there and then. Still won't come on. Rang AD were I purchased and was told I couldn't exchange as I'd used them......ye.. don't buy these...
Cheers mate just googling digi scales and these seem to fit the bill . Your videos are not doing much for my bank balance tho 🤣🤣
Great review and a cracking carp definitely going to get a set 👍

Posh Korum weighers. Look nice and well built, unlike the Korum ones. May invest when I'm in the market for a new set.

Love your vids Joe, always makes me laugh

Are the Koran ones accurate and reliable, as at that price they seem a bargain. Cheers.

I’ve had two pairs of Korum ones and both have broke total crap
