First rule of Carp Club...we never talk about Carp Club to the wives or girlfriends how much our overpriced Tat costs. 😂 At that exact moment " He knew he F*#ked Up" !.😂
I pre ordered mine in November I canny wait man 🤣.. thanks for all the heads up as always, I got the new direction bite alarms on your test and I'm not disappointed 🤟🤟
this bed chair is 450-500 pounds, what the fek where avid thinking when they chose the price, "hey how much do you think we can charge for a bedchair" other avid rep, just knock em out for 500 quid and some carp mugs will pay it, - ok
I have the last gen with the heated mattress. It fits this too and is about £50 at the moment. Got to be worth a review! And please review the avid elevate rods, thanks
I’ve got the solar SP-C Tec wide sleep system. It’s not as expensive as this one (this is a copy of that bed) and it’s solar! Fully recommend. I have proper comfy nights even with the dog on it as well 😂
Your videos are really very good and genuinely honest and trustworthy. I do have one question though on a detail that you didn't ( or couldn't) mention. What is the temperature rating for the sleeping bag? I do overnighters and 3/4 day/night stints in minus temperatures down to -7/-8. when pike fishing in winter, would this cope considering it's 5 big note's price tag?
Hi mate , I know you have the mf60 ss3 or have tried it , which 1 is better all round for comfort and weight in your eyes this avid or the mf60 ss3 standard ?
How does this compare to nash mf60 ss4 wideboy? Mine is getting one sagging like crazy and hinges starting to fail. Was just going to buy another nash but this looks good
ive got that exact bed chair, I had sagging but I realized it was the knots in the elastic slipping, tighten the elastic and double knot and you'll be good
i bought the avid benchmark back in november its the worst bed i ever bought i sent it back when you lie on it you back is above the leg and ever now and then if you throw yourself over you hit the metal leg and the bag itself was so uncomfortable and it didnt support my weight at all i thought it was me untill i got a few of my mates to try it out
I hope everyone who buys Avid products realises that after 12 months they don't want to know any problems, I've got a £500 HD brolly system and it's leaking around 4 spoke areas, it's only been used about 15 times 3 of in rain and this is my email reply off them. Hi Darren, After the 12 month warranty period, there is nothing we can do. Very sorry. Kind Regards Dave Lloyd
I don't care how tough or hardy of a Carp angler you think you are, at twenty to thirty, you might get away with kipping close to the ground. The first rat attack or rat running over your face in the middle of the night will see you bin that. You can't use one in the winter. Everything catches up to you years if not months later. I am actually thinking of making my own design bed as none of the ones on the market solve any sleep problems most anglers suffer on the bank for a £5 -.600 quid price tag.
I have an inner capsule, no rat won’t come in. No mosquitos etc. It works way better in winter than any bedchair. No cold comes trough that mattress. Its rated to I think minus 10 degrees. This mat solves all my back issues, cause it lays as comfortable as any bed at home. I just turned 50 years old.
I thought Avid were a more budget brand. I think they are owned by Fox or one of the older brands. I'm not 100% sure. Anyway mustn't be budget anymore. 😂
Do your research if you don’t know it. Avid is not own by Fox or something. The company already exists for more than a decade. I’ve bought their first bivvy in the beginning of 2013
@@frans810324 Ooh! Look at you.Up on your high horse over nothing. I've done your research for you. 😂 I will post it separately in case they ban links. It's okay. Going by your tone I'd say an apology is beyond you.
Great video Curly but I need a lie down after the price 😂
I can never sleep while fishing 😂 just lay there like "wished it was day time"
You know that
You need a better bedchair and sleeping bag mate, I used to be like that, I sleep like a baby on the bank now
You would be catching some serious zzzz's on a Benchmark Ultra 😉
I’m the same doesn’t matter how good the bed chair is, if I do two nights I usually sleep better the 2nd night just because I’m so tired 😂
Sleep like a baby me lol
Brilliant video guys. We can't wait for these to arrive at the end of the month!
Everything you review is life changing apparently 😂😂😂
Just ordered mine ! Can’t wait to try it 👌🏽
The wife just heard how much this bedchair cost, she says I can't have one 😢
but apparently DFS has a king size bed with mattress £600 🤷♂️
First rule of buying fishing gear. Never tell your wife the real costs.
May the force be with you.

The wait will soon be over as we expect these here at the end of the month
Wow, when are they going to be available to the rest of the world?
Where can you buy them in Australia?

you would pick flatliner 8 or new avid carp benchmark ultra x? Let me know please
Perfect timing, looking out for a new bed to upgrade to from an old advanta one. Great review! 👍

Looks like a copy of the solar one and that’s cheaper! I’m 6’5” I’ve got the large solar one and it’s 👌🏻
Which one do u have a sim 6.2…..???? And need a decent comfy bed ….
I’ve got the solar SP-C Tec wide sleep system. It’s not as expensive as this one (this is a copy of that bed) and it’s solar! Fully recommend. I have proper comfy nights even with the dog on it as well 😂
The leg on your right is not on the ground 😂😂😂

Hi Avid camera man Adam here, I have been out this week in these baltic conditions and have been lovely and warm even without a sleeping bag cover.
Caressing lol , I’d want a full massage system at that price 😂
The best beds ever made.
But one thing you need a bag to carry it.

Just short of a meter wide but is that the frame or the mattresses

Weight and price are far too high! Avid have lost their head
I've got the bed with legs what do what the want crap bed itself ok but legs us
The real life changing choice is to leave all bedchairs in the shops and buy a megapad exped wide extra thick. Thank me later....
Do you use it straight on the ground or do you have a frame/cot for it?
Straight on the ground.
But I have an inner capsule in my trakker tent.
