- A week after a disappointing Game 7 loss, fans of the Edmonton Oilers were back to celebrating after a successful opening day of NHL free agency. Jeff Jackson, the interim general manager, went all in recruiting Viktor Arvidsson, Jeff Skinner and Josh Brown to the Oilers. Meanwhile, he also re-signed Mattias Janmark, Adam Henrique and Connor Brown making the forward group look dangerous heading into next season.
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin go live for Oilersnation Everyday at noon to discuss everything that went down following the show yesterday. Want your thoughts on the show? To close out the show, Tyler and Liam will go around the NHL. They'll take a look at what other teams did after they went off air yesterday, as well as who is left on the free agent market.

Holy f**k. Hall is so overrated. Hard pass on him. He has way too many ups and downs, and often gets injured. When will Oilers fans move on from him???
Gourde and Larsson should be high on the Oilers list of trade targets. Gourde was huge for the Bolts during their Cup wins. A key depth player for them.
