She had a big part in changing the world too..! It was her, and her looks that intrigued the Stones and from that moment on they started to change their way of dress and became more flamboyant and sparkling, like her..! And we all know that bands like the Stones had a big hand in changing the world as we knew it. And with the music, the long hair and different fashion came FREEDOM! The freedom to live your life the way you wanted to. You could be a bohemian, or have a nomadic lifestyle like a gypsy or an artist, anything you wanted..! Keith Richards said that from 1960 to 1970 it was like 200 years had past, and it was true, things had changed a lot! And bands like the Beatles, the Stones, etc. were at the cradle of that period of change. And so did Anita Pallenberg!!! She played a big part in that joie de vivre and great style that gave the Stones and the whole world a BIG boost! -THANX ANITA!!!

I enjoyed all 3 parts so much. Thank you. Her kids are amazing. Poor little baby who was lost. All that money. Couldn't someone have hired a nanny. K Richard goes on and has more kids but she is blamed sort of and she alone was left to make good on their joint debt owed to the kids. I did not remember until watching this that Brian Jones and Keith Richards had both been so pretty. Look at Richards now. Incredible that he is still alive, falling coconuts and all.

Het was wiegedood. I don't know how to say it in English but let's call it how it's called in Holland, 'cradle death'. This still happens to a lot of people all over the world, it's heartbreaking and no one is to blame.. Science still doesn't know what cradle death is, or how to to fight it and stop it. But please let's not say that it's hér or hís fault, cause it's no ones fault. It's very cruel to say that she was a bad mother while she couldn't have done anything to save her son. Ze stond volledig machteloos...

Found this irritating. Too much sympathy for Pallenberg when both of them
we’re very selfish, had too much money and were bored so got addicted to drugs. Not a nice person at all and not enough thought given to their children and how it affected them and how they had to be the adults looking after these two feckless, irresponsible parents. I have every sympathy for their children but not Richards and Pallenberg. She lost their child and that’s what happens if you’re stoned on heroin

Yes, I watched Performance again recently, about six months ago, for the first time since the film came out, and I was transfixed by Anita the whole time. When I first saw it as an adolescent, I was too drawn to Jagger's character to pay much attention to her. This time around, I found that Anita stole the show.

Seems to me there is way too much telling us how great Anita is when she is not doing anything that great except being an attractive young woman and hanging out with famous people. Her memories sound suspiciously copied from Stones books of the last century.

@@johnpjones182 But the voice wasn't hers. It was Joan Greenwood's. And it was that husky voice that really made the part!

Not true at all, @benbumdred2226. She was the girlfriend of two members of the Rolling Stones, never a groupie. Brian Jones blew his relationship with her through his drug use. In her long-term relationship with Keith Richards she was the one who wore the pants. When push came to shove and she had to choose between Richards and heroin she decided she preferred the latter.

I met her near Rome in the 90ies when she was visiting family and told her about my passion for psychedelics, she did not seem interested and I thought she was a serious person, felt stupid revealing her something that I assumed we had in common. RIP anita
