Today we drive with Max Verstappen his 2026 Red Bull Ford F1 car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife! We push to the absolute limit in Assetto Corsa with the 2022 F1 car.
The 2026 FIA Formula one car has been shown! One of the bigger changes is the new DRS/MOM system! MOM stands for Manuel Override Mode and is the successor of DRS (drag reduction system). This system is created to make overtaking even easier!
The Drag Reduction System - which has been a feature of grand prix racing since 2011 - will be no more from the end of next season. Instead it will be replaced by F1’s new ‘Manual Override Mode’. But what is it? And how does it work? I will showcase it to you in this video!
This weekend is the 2024 Austrian GP! Will Max Verstappen take another victory here?

The sound of 2026 F1 cars seems like its gotten a bit louder than 2013 spec cars.
Is it just me or does the turbo sound louder than the old gen of cars?
Well it does sound quite louder of course. It also is quite slower than Superformula 2019 specs surprisingly.
Why aren’t you using the low drag mode?
Or even in high downforce mode.
What was the laptime?

Not sure the new Pirelli tyres would last a lap of the Nordschleife. They would probably all slide of & crash before they reach Caracciola Karusell.
Wish they would just go back to small, nimble V10s from 2000s with Seb's Synthetic fuel & a tyre war.

@aveerkawalsingh it's not the v6 now produces half the power it used to and the other half is a better that's why it sounds the way it does.
