    I originally intended to buy the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. Then my dealer seated me on the 1200 right after my 900 test drive. I'm as tall as you are with 6.4 and in that regard enjoyed both bikes. The 900 is really nimble and for us large folks super easy to waddle around when standing. I ultimately decided on the 1200. Both engines are super nice. But the 1200 has put a smile on my face the 900 just couldn't. And since I ride 98% road, the 1200 is just the better bike for me. The 900 just does not have the stability in corners and especially the Rally Pro lacks the feedback of the 1200's chassis. Also the big cat has the original triple sound. Coming from a Kawa Z1000SX the Tiger 1200 felt quite similar just more comfortable.
    Slow speed maneuvers are the drills I do the most to get used to the weight in slow turns.
    Cheers and thanks for the video!

    love the review, showing how it performs in day to day situations. Answers a number of questions for people who might consider a larger bike, they do look a handful!

      @@spicy110 awesome mate, me personally I've just passed my CBT & got a Lexmoto ZSX-R 125cc based on your content. I love it & I love the motorbike experience (I'm 37 btw). I know Triumph are bringing back the Trident next year, I'll have a word to see if I can sneak you a preview (it's a secret btw 😉)

    Finally, someone does some real world reviews. Actually the bike has nearly 270kg wet. How is it to push the beast around when you are off the bike, like in the garage?

    The 1200 like a lot of Triumphs benefit from an aftermarket clutch lever with their better range of adjustment. Triumph test riders must have hands like gorillas if they think a bite point that far off the bars is ok.

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  3 роки тому

      Yet normally I would have my levers all the way out but on this I did bring it in. I also realised the strange feel also comes from the fact it's a torque assisted slipper. Now I know what that odd pulsing is in places.

    • @buncobooth
      @buncobooth 3 роки тому

      Same with BMW's too I really don't understand why the factory levers bite so far away from the bars even at their closest position it makes riding much more difficult.
