I know this is an older video but your jar of buttons is like the one I have. My mom would cut the buttons off of everything that was not going to be used any longer. So I have been using them in my crafts. You are such a hoot ! 🤗
If your string was a total mess it's probably crochet cotton. Once they get crushed and the cores come out they are all knots! I love untangling them. These pieces are all amazing, going to try to make something like that awesome white envelope today in manila paper. Love that!
Haha, Mags! I've never been accused of being normal, but sure do thank you for thinking so! 😂😂😂. Thanks for watching and for taking time to leave your kind comments! ❤️
You are such a creative spirit and your work is so awesome. I love watching you think through your projects and seeing how they develop. Thank you for introducing me to A Tattered Dream. I have already placed two orders as I am new to the junk journaling world and am so excited to get started. I will continue to watch your videos for more inspiration and ideas...again, thank you!
That was really fun Gayle!! I ordered from Tattered Dreams for the first time yesterday. She has so many fun things to choose from. It was hard to stay in my budget!! I can not wait until my order comes!! Thank you for recommending Denise. And thank you for the fun videos you do!!
Very cute tags and envelopes and pockets! It really does take a lot of time to make a journal and all of the ephemera and embellishments that go with them. It was fun! TFS, Gayle!
I have some of Tattered dream ephemera. I will be using some of your lovely ideas. Yes it takes time and some money too. A lot goes into a journal. Thank you for sharing.
Hope your hubs gets better soon. We have been down for three weeks with it. Not fun. Love watching your videos. I was up in my hidey hole today....working on fabric hearts to add to journal pages. Fun process.
I love watching you, find I am answering you! I like hearing your thought process, its reassuring to know how you decide. Cant wait to see the final journal :)
super..so talented with each tag! Could you please suggest a place to purchase the lovely paper napkins? Thank you, you are great at videos..keep it up
I got the vintage girl napkins on EBay. They came from Russia. I do keep my eye out at every store I go to with napkins too. And I have an Etsy store that has napkins that I order from often. www.etsy.com/shop/chiarotino
Gayle, for real, how DO you do it? ...keep everything you need for the project du jour within reach? If I were to sit down to make these precious ephemera (which I truly will later tonight - they're so beautiful! ...even my boyfriend said so!) I would be up and down and up again because something else would have caught my attention where I'd gone for the first thing and it (the original thing I'd gone after) would never have made it back to the dining room table, which is where I do most of my crafting after everyone has gone to bed. (How's THAT for a run on sentence?). Do you have a specific selection of things you limit yourself to for making ephemera? Oy!! Really! How? With love from the Southern California desert, MK. ❤️🌞🌵
Gayle - I enjoy your videos very much, I was wondering where you got the napkin of the little girl you adhered to the envelope? I hope your shoulder is better soon. Maria
Cute ideas. I was yelling thru the iPad for you to get some of the butterfly's I had sent you in your happy mail and the pretty pink ribbon with embossing. Those could go with your theme. Love ya
Jamie, you crack me up! I can picture you yelling at your iPad! I've got a confession...I think I'll be hoarding the pink embroidered ribbon! 😂. Hugs my friend! ❤️
Gayle, I will be happy to share some more if you want more just let me know. I was going to measure how much I had the other day. I found it at the thrift store!!
Just awesome! You are right, so much time is spent but lovingly done by you! I was wondering if you could respond with the name of the kit you used quite a bit from especially In part 1. I could not catch the name or is it a shop? Thank you!
You come up with some great ideas love watching you. I was going to ask you on those little golden book, the closer in the back do you join the elastic with a knot?
Millicent O'Neill I kind of loop it through the hole. So poke the band through, then take the the other side and loop it through. Hope that makes sense. Thanks so much for watching and all your nice comments! ❤️

I always fold over the edge of my washing tape then it's easy to find the end. Love the video.

I’m lucky to have a dedicated craft room with rolling carts and shelves and drawers, so all my “use all time” items are close at hand. ❤️
Love those envelopes with window-where did you get those? Love these. And have your hubby do eyelets for you!!
I saw the envelopes with windows on Etsy...smtiffanylane
I get them at www.etsy.com/shop/ATatteredDream ❤️
