Mysterious Hijabi is there something wrong with ur husband? Get it checked with the doctor many of my family did that and technology is amazing that u can get pregnant through medical ways, so don’t worry, inshallah u will be pregnant soon, be patient allah will definitely help u ❣️

I’m a student midwife and watching this makes me so happy, it’s nice to hear it from the woman’s perspective! The reason why epidural isn’t strongly recommended is because it has a high link to instrumental birth and going for a section because if the woman can’t feel when to push it prolongs the process, so the doctors need to Intervene but alhamdulliah it worked out for you!
I was in labour for 3 nearly 4 days I was on gas and air but was taking it wrong and then I had pethidine that was crap. I was in so much pain I wanted to scream but Allhamdulillah my pain threshold is good my contractions were constant. I even had a second degree tear and my stitches got infected as no1 told me I had to lay in the bath straight after. While I was giving birth I could hear 2 women screaming. Your so right once you hold your baby you forget the pain you went through xx

I found that using gas and air continually especially after the contractions helped a lot, didn't listen to the midwife to take it only when you have a contraction lol! They didn't say anything anyway just let me do my thing x

Same I was induced twice with both pregnancies because my water was leaking, and I had to get the epidurals both time and it was the best thing ever invented I swear lol

The nurse I had was really trying to convince me to take the epidural even though I made it very clear I didn't want it, she was telling me all sorts. Most of them contradict each other and give you mixed info, you just have to go with your gut feeling.

Anika Rahman the epidural fells like water going into your back kind of uncomfortable and a pinch. The epidural does hurt but because your in so much pain always you don’t mind. My midwife put my first epidural wrong and then I had to have another one. Let me tell you one thing still felt it all.🥺

Im really happy that the inducement and epidural went well for you, sometimes it doesn’t go as well, and you didn’t tear or they didn’t need to cut you which was awesome I have a feeling that was cos it was early and baby was low weight! I wouldn’t have an induction because I think it makes so many more problems than it solves! It’s good you didn’t need assisted delivery. Are you breastfeeding? I think someone should have been with you in those two days you were still in hospital bless you! X
