Yes, playing games are meant as time wasters, but they're also meant as stress relievers, something I sorely needed when my classmates used to bully me everyday. I don't consider it a waste of time when it kept me from going off the deep end.

They exist. Go to a comic place, I liked yugioh but never played at this level. Just casually with friends back in the 00s. During COVID I was bored and found my old deck an went to the same comic shop I would go to. The same old guy was still there, dueled him and he whooped my ass like 6 times. I’m telling you this guys at least 75 minimum, I’m sure he’s 80+ though.
Ended up buying enough cards from him and eBay to whoop his ass… he prolly let me win though cause technically he has a whole card shop. I was just a guy

@@Ksavage2010 woah. Venar 5912 got a point. Ive been around guys like these. Most of my friends r kinda like the guy in the video. They are literal introverted, awkward people. Around themselves they goofy but around other people its def wierd. Some of these guys dont pick up on social queues, or will be REALLY adamant about their interests. I think thats the problem with nerds. Its that they dont know how to turn it off lol. This is based on experience. Not saying everyone who plays card games act this way BUT this is wut i have seen.

@@Ksavage2010 i dont need u to beleive me. As a fellow "nerd" i was trying to present a differnt perspective. Its interesting to determine wut kind of personalities that exist in differnet social groups. I think its good to be aware of ourselves and at least be concieous of why people are the way they are. There is no definite answers but there are def some factors.

This guy’s vid and enthusiasm actually encouraged me to get more into the TCG, and I love it.
I actually met this guy in Martinsburg WV card shop. He’s a local at that shop and he’s actually a very genuine dude. Obviously a little nerdy but very kind and honest. And also the greatest duelist of all time! #BlastingTheRuins

For those who don't get how he won:
He drew his entire deck while putting 30+ cards in the gy. He also had to get a bit lucky with some coin flip cards that draw. In the end he activated blasting the ruins which inflicts 3000 damage if you have 30+ cards in the graveyard.
He also previously activated a card called upstart goblin which the cameraman asks about which draws him a card and gets his opponent 1000 life so with 3 blasting the ruins he inflicted exactly 9000 damage (you start with 8000)
Also he's having the time of his life any idiots telling him to get a life are hella insecure, go find a hobby
