No moral victories, but losing to a legit top 6 team in the country by 6 points and having a shot at the end to win if we stop a 3rd down conversion is impressive. Mizz was a very good athletic team. I think K Johnson played well on Burden. The issues were when Martinez came in at the Nickle. TC also has to be rolled out. He's much more effective when the D has to take into account his running ability. I also think the option play was working and we should've gone to it more.
Mizzou fan here. BC is probably one of the most underrated teams in college ball. How you are not still ranked is a shock to me, although the polls are fickle. As far as coaching the game itself I saw no mistakes on the BC side. You’re coaching is incredible and the poison discipline without the SEC level. You didn’t do anything wrong in that game. Talent is so impressive that I think BC is probably at least a top 15 team. You guys might have the attitude that you can beat anyone and I’ll tell you after what I saw I believe you definitely have a chance. I will be rooting for BC from now on and I expect you to be undefeated the rest of the season. My new favorite underdog team.
As a MIZZOU fan BC played an impressive game and Castellanos is an amazing athlete. Your team has a lot of discipline and great coaching. We, on the other hand, have some work to do on the discipline. I'll be rooting for BC in the ACC this year. Looks like they have as good a chance of taking the title as anyone other than Miami.
Mizzou fan and I have to tip my cap to your squad. They traveled to Missouri and bent but did not break. Really underestimated how well coached BC was. Helluva game, I will be following the rest of your season and cheering you on. Go take the ACC
Not upset. Mizzou has talent. Home turf. 30 roster players that are 4-5 Star guys. Could BC beat them? Yes.. but you need to play a near Perfect Game. Not easy to do vs that talent. A lot of good stuff to take from the loss. And plenty to work on. I love this team and its coaching staff. The future is very bright. Mitch said it well.. as usual.
Mizzou fan here. BC played a good game overall I was pretty nervous after the 1st quarter! I see a 9 win team maybe even 10. I love your head coach. Mizzou just ran it better than BC and had the ball more as a result. Mizzou continues to hurt themselves with penalties and had a couple bad busted coverages too...especially the fumble play...that was ridiculous but good heads up play by Castellanos keeping his composure there. Those penalties and coverage mistakes can't continue in the SEC. Good luck to you all in your season!
Missouri played it's C- game and still won. Tons of penalties that extended BC drives, three totally blown coverages that led to TDs. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. That said, new Mizzou defensive coordinator did a fantastic job. He knew Castellanos couldn't beat them enough with his arm, so he simply dropped 8 into covereage on passing downs. Castellanos did complete some passes, but eventually he threw the INTs that Batoon suspected he would.
Good job BC. Coach O'B IS definitely building something special. Tommy TOUCHDOWNS is improving. Good luck against Michigan State. FLY EAGLES FLY 🦅 #FORBOSTON
I’m huge Mizzou fan and BC is a tough team with a good game plan and some good O lineman. It was a good test for my guys and wish BC luck the rest of the season.
Mizzou's O & D lines were no joke. Tommy's first pick was really bad but other than that encouraging he played at a high level and was close to making a few more big plays. Overthrowing Skeete before the half cost them getting into FG range, along with the play Mitch mentioned
For how sloppy of a game Mizzou played I’m pretty happy about our win. Lots to clean up but it’s much easier to swallow when you beat a solid top 25 win
yes there is a clear talent gap between these two teams that could not be overcome but BC appears to have enough talent and coaching to contend for an ACC title. SEC teams on the top tier are loaded with NFL level dudes and this was on full display here. playing michigan state next will be a walk in the park by comparison. who other than miami can beat this eagle team?
I guess that day you had to mull it all over, brought you back to reality. Y'all played extremely hard, but the Missouri talent gap is obvious. You weren't at any point going to win that game. Im glad you realize that now. Good luck to BC the rest of the way and win the ACC.
I think what we saw from Mizzou is pretty who they are. I said before the season that we're a likely 8-9 win team. I see losses at A&M, home against Oklahoma, at Alabama and possibly South Carolina. People forget that having 7 names called in one draft means you've lost tons of high quality leadership and literally thousands of snaps. Penalties need to be addressed and the O-line still has a lot of gelling to do if we're gonna hold up and expect to be one of 12 come season's end.

Cane fan here and BC absolutely still needs to be ranked after that showing
Mizzou here. BC has nothing to hang their heads about. You’ve got a really good team there.

Bc fans should be excited about the future Bill Obrian is a great couch
How soon before Florida calls BoB?
@@ericwilper3763hopefully never, but I expect many will. I hope hope he stays.
BC was a great challenge, props to them hope they continue to do well.

@charlieruoff5432 So cringe.. People everywhere have referred to it as "our team" for decades now. People must love talking to you at parties..
BC played hard and gave Mizzou its first taste of adversity this season.
Go win the ACC

Enough about gushing over Missouri, we’re on to Michigan State.
Why not gush over us. We're really good on both sides of the ball. Gush away
Mizzou did everything to lose the game. Defense didnt get the memo. 😅
Good game though.
Bills been at bc for 7 months. At Missouri and it was a 1 score game. Beat Sparty

Kinda came close and could have won.
No moral victories and what can be improved on is known.
Thomas thinks he can make every deep play he barely checks down he puts his goals and abilities ahead of the team
I like him but yeah....those INTs hurt you guys.
