The flashbacks were fucking beautiful in this episode and then bam!! Summer Rose outta nowhere. Can’t wait for Volume 7 and hopefully my girl Winter comes back into the fold 🙏
I wanted to see Tai and Raven's interaction in this volume. Not a peep from them. I thought their meet up would have been a perfect setup for a team STRQ flashback episode. Now that the main group is going to Atlas, I wonder if we will even see Tai and Taven in v7.
I would not hold my breath on seeing anything about Summer in v7. We had that after credit scene in v5 that implied Tai and Raven might be meeting. I was ready for that in v6, yet nothing. Not even a mention of Raven or Tai. I was hoping that there meetup would lead to a team STRQ flashback.
Argus is the city where they've been in this and a couple of previous chapters. And it's in the Kingdom of Mistral on the continent of Anima, just with an Atlas military base. And the Kingdom of Atlas (formerly Mantle) is on the continent of Solitas (Cinder said this name in this chapter) and has the Atlas Academy. What's differs from other kingdoms is that the academy, the kingdom and its military are run by the same person, James Ironwood.
To be fair, Ironwood doesn`t run the whole kingdom by his own, there is a council, like in every other kingdom, but it seems to have three seats, one for the head of the academy, one for the highest official in the military and a third one, but because Ironwood is both head of the academy AND the military, he has two seats and by that automatically a majority in every decision. So, basically youre right, but not entirely.
9:18 onward is undeniably the greatest moment in the entire series. This single moment is so beautiful and powerful especially when you listen to the song and hear that the lyrics come straight from Monty Oum himself, this moment is truly amazing.
It's assumed at this point that the Atlas Military is currently set up expecting an attack from another Kingdom. General Ironwood when we last saw him in V4 was extremely paranoid and under the impression that the rest of the world blamed Atlas for the Fall of Beacon (a sentiment echoed by Jacques Schnee and Cordovin). He convinced the council to put a Dust Embargo in place and close the borders to Atlas because he's afraid another Kingdom is going to declare war on them. We don't know how in-the-know Ironwood is as to how many flunkies Salem has, so we don't know for sure if he's expecting them to come as well.
The Academies are Beacon, Haven, Shade (Vacuo's), and, drum roll please, Atlas Academy! Leave it to the military run school to be the least creatively named

Atlas does have an academy, and it's called Atlas Academy. This is because the kingdom originally was called Mantle, but when the academy was built, it got so advanced and developed that the capital was shifted there. And normally, huntsmen and militaries are separate, but Atlas tries to join up theirs. And the other academy is called Shade.

Awesome reactions to this whole volume :) I have to say that if episode 12 and 13 were combined into one then this would have been the best finale of the show.
Okie dokie time for my predictions/theories... 1) There were people missing from Salem table back from V4C1 so I think maybe Summer Rose has been corrupted and is one of Salems group. Hence Salem wanting to catch rather than kill Ruby. Or if not Summer, I think a link to Nora may come about. 2) Penny 2.0. I wonder if something horrific will come up about Penny. Ironwood and Qrow talked about capturing it and cramming it into 'something' or someone else. Will we find out the next story borrowed from is more Frankenstein-esk, but instead of body parts Atlas is stitching together aura (souls). 3) Telling Emerald and Mercury about going to Atlas is a bluff because they think one or both will defect from Salem. I think call for aid from Vacuo is exactly what they want so they can thin the defences there. Remember the sword under Shade was in fact Salems next target. 4) Beacons relic is in the courtyard statue. 5) Long shot but I'll field it anyway. Fans said Qrow is Rubys dad, I wonder if it may in fact be Ozpin but Ozpin is unaware. He would have been a young headmaster when STRQ was at Beacon and he NEVER mentions Summer Rose. If he was unaware of the fact he was a father to Ruby it couldn't have been revealed in Jinns vision. Ozpin was so very fast when he had his battle with Cinder, could Ruby have her silver eyes from her mother and her speed from her father?

@@cy9884 Ahkay, you miss understand. I meant that Vic never deserved the false accusations and being fired from RT and Funimation. Apologies for the confusion. I agree with you, RT jumped the gun and made a sad mistake.
He's still in talks with RT for the role, because he thinks (and also everyone) no one could replace him for the role since Qrow especially is getting bigger and bigger role in the upcoming Volume's. Finding a voice to match his character as well as Vic did would be hard to pull off, and since the drama has cooled down a bit it is still not known who would or if they replace him.
Honestly I think this is the best volume out of the past 3(that being 4,5&6), it's still not as good as the first 3, yes even the first imo. They went with the grimmer(ha) approach for these past 3 seasons and it doesn't really work for me, the lightheartedness of the first 3 volumes really worked well with the serious stuff but I really can't say the same for volumes 456. The individual episodes are great in this season, the Grimm Reaper one, the Apathy arc and I liked the Blake and Yang fight with Adam, the overall was a little bit weak for me, but they move the plot forward so I can't really complain.
Considering they fucked up so bad on giving Yang a recovery arc in Volume 4...which i add basically giving her none at all and just pretending she didnt exist or matter. I kind of hope going forward they give her and ~I GUESS~ Blake a sort of killers remorse arc over Adam and the fact they're the only ones to directly kill another person so far. At least until the Adam T1000 comes around because of course he fell off the fucking cliff so just like Cinder and Neo and just about every other PG Villain that falls to their death, we didnt see them die so clearly they arent.
I hope they do too, but I don't know if Rooster Teeth gave Blindwave permission to react since it is Rooster Teeth first member exclusive. We will see though. And they might not if they want to react to something else for the Saturday time slot, which I am cool with either way.
I honestly still believe that this is the best volume since volume 3, and it's entirely to do with Blake and Yang's story. Adam is by far the most interesting villain the show has, and I agree to an extent that there could've been a little bit more buildup to the final confrontation, but I think the buildup that was there did it's job fine. Blake and Yang finally confronting Adam and killing him and putting their trauma behind them was a really satisfying conclusion for all the characters involved. And I'm a bumbleby fan so I got what I wanted pretty much.
Could you elaborate on why you think Adam is the most interesting villain? I can’t think up much that would make him interesting in volume 6, so I’d like to hear your thoughts on him.
@@ushiouchiha4771 His backstory as a freedom fighter turned radicalized monster is interesting to me, and we really don't know much about any other villains other than Salem. Adam just has the coolest backstory, coolest design, and coolest powers

Torchwick was at least threatening/enteraining at the same time while actually having somewhat of a role in the plot. It's actually bad if they didn't put Adam in Volume 3, Yang would have just went with Ruby forming Team JNRYR
@@Zangetsu26780 ok so i barely understood this comment but Torchwick was really nothing more than a goon for Cinder while Adam has always had his own drive and motive seperate from the other villains, even when they fought on the same side. As much as I dislike the last five episodes, I thought this finale was alright. It wasn't great, it wasn't horrible. But it was okay (Volume 3's finale still blows all others out of the water).
This episode and Ruby's development would be 10 times more meaningful if the last boss had an episode to set it up as a threat. But obviously, fuck that... even though even other major grimm had setup. And it should be common writing knowledge.

I really hope you guys watch Gen:Lock next. It's only 8 episodes and it's so fucking good.
Say goodbye to Vic Mignogna as Qrow. I won't go into it here, but I thought from the beginning that he didn't deserve any of it.
You're wrong
@@cy9884 About which part?
@@darkarpatron That he never deserved it. He's the perfect voice actor for Qrow, and unless he's rehired, I'm going to protest against RT
The individual episodes are great in this season, the Grimm Reaper one, the Apathy arc and I liked the Blake and Yang fight with Adam, the overall was a little bit weak for me, but they move the plot forward so I can't really complain.
you should react to volume 7
Considering they fucked up so bad on giving Yang a recovery arc in Volume 4...which i add basically giving her none at all and just pretending she didnt exist or matter. I kind of hope going forward they give her and ~I GUESS~ Blake a sort of killers remorse arc over Adam and the fact they're the only ones to directly kill another person so far. At least until the Adam T1000 comes around because of course he fell off the fucking cliff so just like Cinder and Neo and just about every other PG Villain that falls to their death, we didnt see them die so clearly they arent.
REACT TO GEN:LOCK
I hope they do too, but I don't know if Rooster Teeth gave Blindwave permission to react since it is Rooster Teeth first member exclusive. We will see though. And they might not if they want to react to something else for the Saturday time slot, which I am cool with either way.
@@ryanboles9995 many reactors have reactions to it on UA-cam. I don't doubt they can too.
Also you can hear the dragon grimm in the post credits
Wait you can?!
@@kylebaird7387 Adam is worst than Roman Torchwick and his death was funny.
Adam went from the shit version of Magneto from X-Men to "I'm going to make Blake pay for leaving me." Torchwick was at least threatening/enteraining at the same time while actually having somewhat of a role in the plot.
"His death was funny" literally means nothing, i don't see how it's funny at all
@Whiterose Petal Tale
Adam could have been like Magneto and he's just a lame ass version of Virgil.
Did you forget the gorilla first apperance was like two season 2 with Ruby was with Jeane and co?
Ya, but that didn't have wings.
It was in the Ruby character short.
Does anyone know if the members of Blind Wave have watched all of Seven Deadly Sins or is there a chance they will eventually react to it
@blindwave can you guys finally react to Mark Zhangs Fanmade RWBY Trailers in order pls!!!
Charcoal
Silver
Viridian
Linien
And the most recent one
Regalia
As much as I dislike the last five episodes, I thought this finale was alright. It wasn't great, it wasn't horrible. But it was okay (Volume 3's finale still blows all others out of the water).
True
When rwby
RWBY Rewind is RWBY's version of Talking Dead
10:28 what?!? It survived Ruby's silver eyes?!?
10:40 y’all ever see Gurren Lagaan?
12:55 "GIGA DRILL BREAK!"
Here it comes!
Silver eyes is basically a tactical nuke
Cinder with the red bottoms
Dees ees bloooodi shoos
They don't pay tax dollars, they pay tax Lien.
Guys, you should watch the Red vs Blue. It's the best series from the Rooster.
I wish I could like this a thousand times. Love that show, and I think they would too. Especially when it gets more story heavy in seasons 6-13
Volume 7 should be interesting
This episode and Ruby's development would be 10 times more meaningful if the last boss had an episode to set it up as a threat. But obviously, fuck that... even though even other major grimm had setup. And it should be common writing knowledge.
