If a wallet costs that much how much would the bag cost, how many regular person salaries are we talking :))
Btw, Once Human did have 2 very open betas during steams next fest and people like asmongold put over 300 hours in the game during that time and streamed it.
@@MentalD-Fox I have one of them and they definitely feel like good quality, that being said... Fuck ads.

How the hell are you impressed by a travel case? No seriously, nobody thinks about their lugage. Eighter it works and carries what you put in, or it doesn't. There is no in between, impressed is a word I thought I would never hear in combination with lugage. 😂 Guess you have to say something positive about it other than yeah you can put stuff in it and move it around
29:22 that's my twitch stream!
skillup has no idea I've been watching every one of his videos for years, i spit out my drink when I saw it! Thank you guys this is so funny
@skillup PIN THIS

Such a funny clip!! And your outfit was on point, gotta live that pirate lifestyle at all times
Clips like yours get me that much closer to playing sea of thieves
I'm sensing the Destiny review will be sponsored by Manscaped so that Ralph can say 'The Final Shave'.
Such an underrated comment ahahahahahahah
Now I’ll be disappointed if this doesn’t happen.
Hey Skillup! You got material here!
Not a good ad for the product at all
Okay, Skillup posted his week in review now, let’s see what breaking news comes out within the next 4 hours.
Right 😂
There are only 5 business days. The odds are extremely good that news will either come out really close before or after his videos lol idk why Skillup and people are always surprised by this.
@@Redbones44may I introduce you to the concept of jokes?
Skillup is like cursed. So much breaking news literally the day of his releases
Y'all make the same comments every week smh
Holy shit, I thought you were serious with Dino Crisis. God damn it, Skillup, you gave me hope and a purpose for a second just to take it away and I will never forgive you for this.
Capcom did some polls about peoples favorite games and the dino crisis bros bombarded it to skies the results lmao. They probably were remaking dino crisis and then someone at Capcom said " but what if it was live service?" 🤔. Which is why we have the steaming pile of exoprimal instead.
The onimusha head fake after that was just cruel. What a dick lol.
Came to say the same, I don't like people playing with my feelings like this
😂
I felt the same with Onimusha.

Let me use Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant (not a bad job at pronouncing that at all btw Ralph), to teach you why German words are so long sometimes. It's because that word is actually 4 words combined into one. Planet = planet, Verteidigung = defense, Kanone = Cannon, Kommandant = Commander. So instead of saying "Commander in charge of the planetary defense cannon", we just combine nouns to make it one word. Works with pretty much everything, which is why you keep seeing long German words on the internet, that actually don't make sense or no one would use. Like Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant, who would actually be called Artilleriekommandant = artillery commander
Treffend beschrieben 🤘
And English does mostly the same, but it has forgotten to stitch them together.
That's awesome
They're called compound words in linguistics. Words that are formed by "compounding" words together, like cupcake and skateboard. Among languages that use the Latin alphabet, German is one of the most egregious in these.
Thank you for the language lesson! ^^
Hey just a correction, Deck Nine is the studio making the new Life is Strange, DontNod made the first LiS but Deck Nine has been making the sequels
DontNod did make LiS 2 and Captain Spirit, though.
Deck Nine took over main installments starting with True Colors.
DontNod did make Life is Strange 2.
But Before the Storm and True Colors were developed by Deck Nine.
Honestly that pronounciation of Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant was pretty damn good. The accent was noticable of course but I would have understood that without much trouble even without being able to read it on screen.
No it wasn't, he put emphasis on all the wrong vowels. Kommandant was the only word he came even remotely close to saying right.
Ubisoft: "There are worlds in our past that need monetising, Expect remakes"
SBI to ubisoft : "There are many history on your past game that needs to be change for modern audiences"
Its hard to take him seriously when they repeatedly fail to market their games like Avatar, Prince of Persia platformers, Apple etc... then blow all their budget selling Skull and Bones.
Once Human actually had like, 5 or 6 betas already and i think its pretty solid
Yeah surprised he missed that bit of info.
I was about to say… is this the same Once Human that has had several betas that were huge on Twitch? Lol
Ya I played in the past test and it was awesome. I’m looking forward to it so much, definitely buggy but hopefully they have done a lot of work to optimize it. And add more end game and deviations.
searched for this comment and im glad its here. i loved every single one of those betas. There were meaningful changes in each. baring the decision on removing hive base in the last beta, i liked every iteration.
Ralph, Once Human has had a few betas now and it looks really good. I played the first beta and loved it. Didn’t have time for the second one though. It’s definitely been tested and I think it’s going to surprise a lot of people!
Yup. Unless they riddle it with some insane monetization shait, it is very solid game.
Yeah I dont know where his idea of lack of testing came from, its had multiple betas at this point, I believe 3 from my count?
I think there was 3 yeah, the reason I remember was because I got rejected for all of them due to it filling up so fast@@haydn9315
@@haydn9315 5 or 6. its one of those situations where they were suffering from success and were overwhelmed by the number of people trying to get onto the beta server they had to resort to some pretty creative ways to ruffle people onto the server.
It is one of, if not the most beta tested games in recent memory by player number count. baring the games that are in perpetual "early access"/"beta" status. looking at you pokemon with guns.
Correction on the Zenless Zone Zero exclusivity to Epic. Hoyoverse have a standalone launcher and the game plus other Hoyoverse games are available non-exclusively to Epic.
Definitely agree about Space Marine 2. All the gameplay I've seen (even in THIS video!) I keep seeing frame drops, and that's just for the single player stuff, can't even imagine how multiplayer is. And with people cooling off on helldivers, they might move on to Space Marine to get their bug shooting fix. I'm in disbelief they are still choosing to launch in a few months rather than just delay it. Fans have been waiting over a decade, we can wait a little longer. Alot of people have their first impression on a game be their only impression so I hope the launch goes well.
My guess is someone else (maybe GW) isn't letting them delay it, so instead they are buckling down and trying to get performance to at least a playable state. I agree that a delay would be better, but it might not be an option. I'm hopeful, but I am also waiting until the game is out before making a decision to buy it now or later when it's patched and/or on sale lol.
I feel like the Zenless Zone Zero part in upcoming releases had a bit of info just missing that some people who aren't in the know about the game would like to know, such as the fact it is launching on PS5 at the same time as PC, as well as the fact that while it's Epic Exclusive by nature of major PC store platform, you can just download the game from Mihoyo themselves and go through their own launcher (which is yet another launcher, the shock and horror of it all) which I know PC players dislike, but it's a big enough note that should be mentioned since people don't actually need to use Epic at all to play it.
Edit: Yea the Epic Exclusive part may not be the biggest issue due to all the people who only use the Epic Store to claim free games that they will never play at all, but it's still misinformation claiming it's only playable via Epic on PC when it isn't, which is the main thing I was addressing. Also yea yea yea "Gacha Game = Bad Game", but both Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail are both gacha games from Hoyo that players have been able to clear endgame content without interacting with the gacha system at all, it just requires a bit more thinking and planning about your teams and builds, so take that as you will. The only actual content one might struggle with if they decide to ignore the gacha system completely is the hardcore endgame mode, which only rewards more gacha currency, so why would a player who doesnt gacha at all, care about more gacha currency anyway?
For those who don’t know, I feel it’s also worth mentioning that Zenless is a gacha game. So if you’re into the character designs and visuals proceed with caution.
I feel like the biggest issue with ZZZ is that it's a slot machine lmao
The PS5 bit is the only thing of note tbh. There are thousands of game with their own launchers and people generally don’t care about them, especially since most have the Epic launcher for the free games.
@@themagictoaster2472 Definitely. On the other hand if you are financially literate and do not make dumb decisions when playing f2p games, Hoyo games can very well be played with little to no spending and can be quite fun. I never bought more than the monthly 5bucks pass and BP, so about 20-30 bucks per 3 months. Considering the fun I' ve been given, I am satisfied. But it can get insane for people who can't resist the mechanics these games use.
Also, the developers of Genshin, Honkai, and ZZZ have changed their names several times and are currently going by Hoyoverse.
For FFXIV/Dawntrail, A LOT of those reviews came out with only like 4-5 hours of gameplay when you are still meeting most of the cast and things are kicking off. Dawntrail had basically ZERO lead in from previous patches (something very common for prior Expansions). So the expansion is required to do way more in the realm of exposition compared to the previous saga which just ended.
That's what I thought. I started playing at the release of early access and whilst I haven't played it non stop I have played it a hell of a lot and I've only just got to the last quest. No shot did people who reviewed this within a day or two put the time into this to make a judgement. As it happens it has felt 'slow' in comparison to the last 2 expansions but that was always to be expected as Shadowbringers and Endwalker had all the expansions and story that came before. It was a much better experience than ARR was in isolation so I have every faith the team a CBU3 know what they are doing and have an awesome long terms story for us over the coming years
I mean as someone who has finished the msq I kinda agree with the steam ratings. The dungeons/trials are fun and the 2 new jobs are great but the story is really boring especially considering it's not your story it is all about wuk lamat and considering you are the WOL a being who has saved the star on multiple occasions you spend most the expansion standing around like a brick. You could honestly almost remove the WOL and the scions and I don't think the story would change much.
@@Mrnatnat4 That is kind of how most of the game has been. Problem is people really only like to talk about Shadowbringers and Endwalker, which are the only two portions of the story so far where it was the WoL's story. ARR is the Scions Story and you're along for the ride mostly. HW is the Twins and we're just the only one left. Stormblood was all about Lyse. I've finished the MSQ already and my opinion was pretty high overall. I did feel it was a bit hamfisted with certain characters overly being inserted (WL) but I think as far as a second 'heavy exposition' expansion. It did a good job of opening a lot of doors in the world for them to develop in later more focused stories.
@@Mrnatnat4 I really think it depends on whether your comfortable letting your wol have the back seat. As far as I've seen, the story needed to be slow to introduce the regions and the world, otherwise you'd end up with another Ala Mhigo situation, where you're rushing from area to area and you have no reason to care about the actual people or history there because you need to rush the the next flashy thing to keep interest. Couple that with the general culture around feeling like you HAVE to binge or rush to be involved in the conversation, its not gonna go over well if you aren't taking your time.
The story wasn’t great but these new classes are amazing and the best dungeons we’ve had on release
What do you mean "Ironically enjoying" Street Fighter movie?
I remember when that movie came out and I thought it would suck, so I didn't see it. I watched it a year ago and was pleasantly surprised.
Just a small note on PVKK, It is a german name, and V in german will be pronounced as F, so Ferteidigung 😊
Damn, RE7 director for RE9? This’ll be good.
Dawntrail definitely starts off slow, but does ramp up towards midway. Square Enix had an impossible task of satisfying players coming off the heels of the epic finale that was Endwalker. So Dawntrail definitely won't be liked by all, but for me, damn is it fun!
Once human did have a demo out where pretty much the whole game was showcased
Will anyone from the SkillUp team cover The First Descendant?
I would love to see some objective criticism on it and what better place than here? \o/
I am SO BUMMED to hear about that Street Fighter movie. Those brothers were seriously the perfect directors for it >:-/
I want the Shang-Chi team on it.
@@timogul 🤡
Right? The first movie would obviously be about Ryu's origin story, which would, by extension, include Akuma's origins as well. The dangers of the Satsui no Hado and how it corrupts its users fit horror movie directors like a glove.
@@runbaa9285 It's kind of wild, because the old ST movie, for all its faults, actually was kinda telling the best primary narrative for Street Fighter. That WAS the plot of SFII, that Bison was up to some shenanigans, and Guile and Chunli were the characters who were directly tied to that. Ryu was just some rando who showed up at the end to punch Bison, even though to fans he's obviously the "face" of the franchise.
I kinda think it'd be funny if they took another crack at that, with some quality Mission Impossible style mission to bring down Bison, and then every 15 minutes or so they cut to Ryu dragon punching some other fighter, and then the end is this long action setpiece to stop Bison's master plan, and Ryu just wanders in and dragon punches him too. The end.
On the topic of FFXIV's new expansion, most of the negative feedback I've seen has been people who frankly had their expectations set incorrectly. We were WARNED that the scale/scope of this expansion would be smaller, so I just don't have sympathy for those who are complaining when it's just that. I've seen so many comparisons to how it doesn't stack up to Endwalker, when the entire reason EW was so good is that there were 4 expansions before that set up the story it resolved.
You don't get a Shadowbringers or Endwalker without A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and Stormblood to lay the foundation. And I'd say Dawntrail lines up fine with the quality of those first 3 expansions. Definitely has its faults, and I'd agree a step down from EW, but not nearly as far of a step as many are implying.
Yeah it's really weird to see the complaints. My FC is loving the expac overall because of the dungeons/trials and the new characters.
@@TheMetalGaia Yeah, it reminds me of that "It's really good when you don't have someone in your ear telling you it sucks" meme.
I marathoned it during early access alongside some friends and we all agreed that it had some pacing issues (especially near the middle) but was overall solid.
btw, ZZZ is also available on pc through hoyo's own launcher, no need for the EGS
AC1 needs the remake treatment the most.
Armored Core 1 is fine leave it alone.
Ace Combat 1... just play any of the newer ones.
Assassin's Creed 1... naw.
I'd be happy if 1 and 2 got a remaster
@@Xman360z 2 got a remaster. I'd like to see a remake of 1 & 2 as well
Massive RE fan here- tbh I wish that companies would save these announcements until they have actual content to show us. Even the cinematic reveals rub me the wrong way when there’s no gameplay shown but even that is better than nothing. Still glad to officially hear that something is in the works!
@SkillUp just an FYI about the ZZZ on PC - Mihoyo has their own PC launcher so Epic isn't actually necessary
Guys who play the high-school girl coming of age games need to have thier hard drives checked.
I'm surprised about the reception to Dawntrail because it's been explicitly spelled out to people by CBU3 for a year that it would be more self-contained, smaller in scope and more experimental.
"That sign can't stop me, because I can't read!"
this stuff happens every time. gamers get hyped up on copium and self-made theories, the devs try to temper expectations, the gamers ignore them and then complain when all their hopes and dreams aren't fulfilled.
We're all susceptible to it, but damn is it frustrating to see now that I've dropped that habit and instead picked up the habit of expecting the mediocrity.
"You don't walk away from a player base that large and engaged"
Halo fans: 😢
5:55 - 7:45 Shillup's obligatory weekly Destiny dump segment, so everyone can skip.
Choice of pronunciation for "ROG" and "GOG" unhinged
its still so frustrating that capcom determined that players found resident evil 7 too scarya and stressful, like isn't that the point of survival horror. its still my favorite followed by the re1 remake
I don't know who the idiots are that bought RE7 and said it was too scary, but I hate them
Yeah RE7 was great and tense, RE8 is a bit lacking in comparison. That's the issue when everything needs to be mainstream and sell as much as possible. Survival horror is a niche genre, it's not supposed to please everyone.
7 was scary and that was nice but it was also incredibly boring, just a bunch of Mr.Xs annoying you while you’re trying to take in the atmosphere, and then those stupid black slime enemies in place of zombies: YAWN
ZZZ is an Epic exclusive ??? I had no idea. Fuck.
Edit - Nvm, apparently you can just use their launcher.
im german and ur pronounciation of planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant was not bad, just the v was a bit soft and the e´s in planeten were a tiny bit too short. 8/10
yeah so having played thorugh Dawntrail I can confidently say that this is the weakest story they have delivered since stormblood. besides the story though we have a good addition of great new combat content and some very cool looking new zones.
still I cannot say that I am not a bit disappointed with what was delivered. we got the same amount of dungeons and trials at the same points in progression as always. we got the same dailies and weeklies as always and we are going to get the same raid progression as always. even the class changes were a bit lame especially for the healers which all just got yet another heal at lv 100 with no meaningful dps rotation.
What the hell is Capcom thinking? Everyone wants the Code Veronica remake! Where is it?!
Kind of a dead month for gaming. Aside from maybe one or two games coming this month I'm interested in, it's a quiet month.
@SkillUp about that controller stat, I recently got myself a really cool new wireless mouse, has all de DPIs, weights nothing, but when I tried to test it, I realized there are not many games that play great with m+k anymore. Most games in my library play vetter with a controller and I don’t know when this happened.
I ended ip testing it on Power Wash Simulator, btw.
Interesting, what types of games do you play tho? I play mouse and keyboard on most of my games. Definitely anything that contains any shooting. It's mostly only soulslikes that I play on controller. Most of my recent PC games have all been M&K. Remnant 2, Ghostrunner, Witchfire, Batman Arkham Knight, RE2 and RE4 Remakes, Black Ops 3, Signalis, Alan Wake 2, F.I.S.T., etc.
I mean, if you stopped playing any shooters and strategy games, that would make sense
No one should interview George R.R. Martin without grilling his ass on when the next Song of Ice and Fire book is coming out. IT'S BEEN THIRTEEN YEARS.
Resi 7 on phones?! Thats nuts. What a time we live in.
why would anyone install zzz on epic, when they also have a standalone launcher lol, everyone is going to just do that, just like their other games lol
Spoilers for Assassins Creed Valhalla:
Didn't Valhalla basically tell the audience that at minimum AC3 was getting remastered? At the end the consciousness of Desmond was found within a computer, with him working on finding a way to stop the world ending events that killed him and the isu, with no luck. So then layla came alone and said "maybe it's because your death caused a ripple effect. Let's see if the events could stop if you didn't die.", before layla died to stay with Data Desmond to help him search timelines.
I assumed that this meant that AC1-3 were gonna be being the remake treatment, not blackflag.
18:15 This is incorrect. DONTNOD worked on the first two Life is Strange games but have since handed off the franchise to Deck Nine.
What's funny about this whole thing is that DONTNOD are delaying their next release to make room for the franchise they created themselves.
Dawntrail is a slow burn, but it's also a huge reset. It's a great Final Fantasy game IMO, and I think it sets up a ton of potential futures.
I really enjoyed it.
dawntrail is really divisive since they really went all in with wuk lamat. if you like her you like the expat if you don't you will hate it.
honestly they should have done the usual and given more time to krile and erenville instead of having it be all wuk lamat all the wuking time. we would see much more positive sentiment if they had done that. I doesn't help that english VA work is weak this expat.
this is the only chanel in UA-cam that speak about destiny lol give up skill up no one like that garbage
while ZZZ is a epic launcher exclusive, you can just also install it standalone (a standalone launcher), or through the new combined hoyoverse launcher
You kinda have to respect Singapore's relentless commitment to Assassin's Creed: Black Flag.
Not a lot of towns go all-in on just one video game, certainly not to such a degree. But maybe they're onto something here. What's your town's official video-game?
Resident Evil 9: RE6 Reloaded
I am 100% guessing RE9 will be Resident Evil: Crucifix, stylised as CrucifIX
RE6-9
Unironically smart
I hope not, especially since Revelations+7 and 6 were total opposites
5 remake will come before 6 remake
Surprisingly today I didn't notice any news that skipped this week's video
The First Descendent / ZZZ releasing 2 days apart: Woooo!
Skill Up: There are no major releases this month.
Yeah... AND EDF 6 TOO
I really wish Skillup and his team would look more into some of these games he reports on because there's a lot more to them than he and many other "core" gamers give them credit for.
Destiny 2 is not one of the 10 most played games on Steam anymore. The numbers have tanked much faster than they usually do after a DLC, and are now under 100K peak.
Thank God Destiny isn't actually ending. We need it to exist to keep its fandom contained.
Truest thing I’ve read all week
Doesn’t surprise me with MK. It’s bare as bones, to many micro transactions, and it’s being supported by legacy players like me, because(and this is something I never thought would come out of my mouth) Sf6 is the better game…
Ff14 dawntrail is really good, in the last 3rd and the reviews are so dumb honestly, those people I assume either skipped all of the cut scenes which I know people for sure did and then complained but didn't pay attention to anything going on, as well as if you only look at the first 3rd of the expansion it's a little slow but it's setting up a whole different culture and nation basically with alot of new characters, and then in the half that I'm in it's pretty damn crazy in terms of story and there is alot of head spinning stuff, as well as I think all of the dungeons and raid fights are really well done. I tend to now a days lean towards 2 out of 3 people leaving reviews have some sort of mental health issues or need to get some other hobbies or things happening in their life sadly. If all of your enjoyment in life comes from a single game or just a game in general you are gonna be mad and angry no matter what
the one that has issues is you.
people are allowed to dislike any game for any reasons. if someone doesn't like DT that doesn't mean that he is a useless idiot that needs other hobbies that just means that you didn't like DT.
It’s really wild you suck destiny off yet trash borderlands when somehow destiny has worse writing and worse monetization, and that’s hard to do.
hes a destiny victim just play along 😔
Watching this while not at work feels strange😂
18:30 it's an 8/10 but we are delaying it because we can do better is BOLD I have a lot of respect for that dev team most video games are very happy with 8/10 especially a good release time like this month
Been waiting for this to drop, my Wednesday just isn’t the same without your show.
Actually Once human had a open beta released in Steam when the summer game fest was live please do your research before talking shit about games especially when it's your job other than that great video.
Release date for Trails into Daybreak 2 is being announced on Friday.
Pretty sure Ralph was really proud of that PVKK quick pronunciation 😅
I think the Dead Rising game can be classified as a "Rebuild".
It's the same game, just new engine.
That's usually what a remaster means...
@@aspectnato8077 not really.
A remaster is using the same game, same engine, but upscaling the resolution or cleaning up preexisting texture files.
@@KaijinZSurohm Nope, a remaster is taking the thing you have and making it look or sound better. Like music, a remastered song is still the same song but using modern technique/tools to make it sounds better, still the same song. The logic applies to video and gaming too. Rebuilding the game in a new engine but it plays the same, is by definition a remaster.
@@aspectnato8077 the fact that you are so hell bent on "nu uh" is baffling to me.
I'm sorry to say but on this, you are actually wrong.
Dead rising is built from the ground up to work on a new game engine.
That's not a remaster. That's not cleaning up what's there.. That's straight up rebuilding a game.
Go ahead and have the last word though, your pride clearly needs to win an extremely pointless internet argument.
@@KaijinZSurohm Bro shut the fuck up 🤣 If the gameplay is going to be the same (as mentioned in the video) but the graphics have been modernised, it is a remaster by default. If the gameplay has been changed, it is a remake. No game, movie, song or video has been tagged as a "rebuild" because it makes no sense to define it as such. You're a troll and a poor one at that.
For me, a remaster is when the original code base is used, and the only things that are done are swapping out some models for ones with a higher polygon count, maybe enhancing some textures, and increasing the render resolution. But a Remake is when the game it completely remade from the ground up. Even if it is heavily relying on the original game for framework and maybe even animation timings, as long as the foundation is different, it's a remake. Some remakes are way more faithful, like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 and Paper Mario TTYD. But others go in a completely different direction, like Final Fantasy 7.
I would agree with this as a hard qualifier. It does still leave an issue of expectation, not being sure if gameplay is being updated or if the goal is just to look or run well on modern hardware, but I would attach some other modifier to it for clarity rather than try to make remake or remaster pull double duty on describing that difference. For example you could call it a Gameplay Remake if it is intending to alter the experience as such.
Best part of my week. Thanks as always Mr Up.
When is the big exodus from Bungie slated for again? Is it Summer 2025 when the executives can cash out their Sony Acquisition checks? All Bungie want to do is keep Sony out of the Board until then.
If Aspyr Media botch this as bad as they did the Battlefront remaster, it will be time for Lars to close another studio. Unlike past closures I think players may be in agreement with Lars this time should Aspyr botch three loved franchises consecutively (counting the IP taken from them and given to Saber Interactive as already botched).
Frostpunk 2 - When your most loyal and dedicated fans (access was only for pre-orders of the premium edition) only give the game an 8/10 citing UI issues and mechanics not explained clearly. The average player is at best going to be a 6/10, which in today's market would be a total skip. Good on them for delaying the game and working through the feedback issues.
@SkillUp, Once Human has held a number of OPEN BETAS. There are plenty of videos out there of the beta gameplay, do your homework before dissing a game again.
Sunless Skies you are in a submarine, NOT a train.
I suspect that the people who are grumping about Dawntrail are the ones who blasted through the main story and want something to complain about online. I'm halfway through the MSQ, and the vibes are excellent, and not having universe-ending stakes is super refreshing.
The change in Steam reviews for Shadow of the Erdtree likely has almost nothing to do with that balancing patch. It’s mainly to do with more people finally finishing the game. And From Soft didn’t really cave, they just slightly eased the early-game only.
That patch didn’t really make the game easier at all; it just adjusted the difficulty curve. The first 1-10 Blessing levels scale faster but the latter 11-20 scale slower. When you get to the final level, and you’re faced with the game’s hardest challenge, there’s almost no difference from before (2.05x damage dealt vs. 2.00x and 0.500x damage received vs. 0.487x). I think it was really overblown in a lot of media.
If they remaster/remake AC1, I hope they do more than just a visual facelift. I feel like there is so much potential there enhance the story and gameplay, my boy Altair deserves some of that Resident Evil remake treatment
I've always been interested in Genshin Impact but never played more than a few hours due to it's fantasy setting. HOWEVER, it looks like Zenless Zone Zero maybe just the thing. Sad it's exclusive to Epic Game Store since I usually forget about games I have there.
STILL no mention of anything Warframe. 🤔 Not even a MENTION of the "Jade Shadows" quest and new Jade Warframe. 🤔
Ironically enjoying the original Street Fighter movie? Raul Julia's performance as Bison is still amazing to this day. Rest in Peace you beautiful man.
Jean Claude guile is awful bro
May have been an amazing performance to you, but to him it was just a Tuesday.
Oh wow, thank you so much for showing Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant, that is a highlight for us! I love that you went for it and pronounced it, quite well too. It was one of our joys, imagining people doing their best to say it in a language they don't speak. Respect :)
Also thank you for the love for Dome Keeper! We are still working on that in parallel, huge content update hitting in july. After that we'll finally tackle multiplayer :D
Am I the only one just absolutely exhausted by this era of purely nostalgia based cash-grab media? Constant movie reboots, sequels, prequels. Now every major gaming company is just reskinning old games and selling them for $60. JUST MAKE NEW CONTENT
Sega making Crazy Taxi, Streets of Rage, etc all to be individual, AAA, $70 games? Ummm idk about that. I’d pay $70 for a fancy new collection, but not each individual game. My nostalgia doesn’t have taste that rich.
Love black flag but that would literally be the worst one to remake. AC1 and the Ezio Trilogy needs to come first
Huh? Everybody likes black flag
@@666slateran666 did you even read what I said? Worst to remake as in like it shouldn’t be a priority to make it til the other 4 our re made
I’d rather replay Black Flag though, updated would be nice ❤
@@Michael-fs1cw yea but black flag stills holds up it’s not really that outdated
@@hectorrivera5416 tell that to Code Veronica
Skill Up, you really should stop commenting on how corporation should operate, you just sound ignorant. Japan has a work culture of people willing to put in long hours and stay at a company for far far longer than your average American worker who would balk at putting in longer hours for no pay. You should look into the big differences between the work culture in Japan vs the US. Americans on average only stay at a job and company roughly 4-5 years, Gen Z is at about 2 years. Spending money to develop people long term means you'll get someone who'll eventually leave and take the skills you taught them and go to a competitor.
Also in Japan there's a population decline and deflation, Japan has a harder time finding new talent from their population because it's shrinking. They literally have a shrinking workforce and a shrinking pool of talent to recruit from.
Hey, you're missing the Oxford comma in your title. (Yes, you need it.)
Skillup writing headlines like a goddamned savage.
Honestly I understand some of the gripes with Dawntrail but I definitely think some people are being really harsh on it. I enjoyed it from start to finish and it felt pretty typical for a FFXIV expansion. I can understand for sure why people don't like it as much (you feel like a side character is probably one big gripe I've seen of the early hours) but there's tons of world building and so much cool stuff I definitely don't feel like it is the worst expansion which is what a lot of people are saying.
This why capcom/fromsoft is one of my favorite companies, there willing to take risk and do ORGINAL Ideas instead constant remasters or only keep churning the same ip aka like cod etc
Funny you say that when Capcom has been surviving off of RE remasters and game collections. Monster hunter and street fighter are newer but it's all a continuation of a franchise. They only take very small risks, the amount of IPs Capcom ignores is insane. Fromsoft on the other hand doing eldne ring and then armored core after is unheard of.
@@666slateran666 to extent your right but most companies have there bread and butter franchises capcom RE/monster hunter etc, same with fromsoft with the souls trilogy and even armor core “there’s like 4/5 of them don’t quote me on that tho” but there still willing to experiment compared to other companies and even take some failures to the chin but keep pushing original ips
@@nappy6806 there's way more than 5 armored core games lmao. It might of been AC 6 but there were spin offs on ps2 aplenty. It used to be fromsofts main franchise prior to demon souls popping off and then dark souls REALLY hitting mainstream. At least with gamers. Crazy to see how far that company has gone making games with old-school difficulty in mind. And I love Capcom, they are also one of my favorite companies. And now that they are re releasing the marvel collection and Terry is coming to street fighter my dreams are coming true. Capcom vs snk 3 baby! Oh and maybe marvel vs Capcom 4 if Disney plays nice.

I have now 41,696 games on steam wishlist
Please let RE9 be like RE7 and not like RE8
I really loved RE8, it wove the unique-to-resident-evil zombie camp with actual horror that in some instances felt like some of the most creative and interesting horror concepts in the whole franchise - I also loved 7, it was an all around tighter experience. I hope they can take the best of both games and make something really great
13:43 Ralph, there're plenty of lame takes like this on the Internet nowadays. You really don't need to pad your videos with this type of whinging. You're wasting precious seconds of our lives here.
I don't understand all the fuss about AC blackflag. It was a great game. Not really a good assassin's creed. But since ubisoft is on low quality mode for a lot of their games I don't want to see an ugly a** remake of AC II.
There's no good pirate games and people like pirates. It's like the only one.
People like Black Flag because of the pirate power fantasy. Even then the AC stuff in it is not the worst in the series, certainly better than the RPG games.
Been dreaming of Star Wars bounty hunter renoot for a long time. Only issue, the don’t have the Hitman studio on it 😢
if Ubisoft insists on things like crazy pricing/monetizations and insisting on linking my steam account and using their launcher to play single player games, i'll stick with the older version of the AC games
your german skills reading that title were pretty decent 😂❤
I'm really annoyed that ZZZ is stuck on the epic store on PC, might have to stick with PS5 to give it a try
There's also a mihoyo laucher that you can download in their website
Small correction on Once Human, they had a one week long public beta/demo up during the steam next fest a few weeks ago, i played it and it was pretty fun
No Betas for Once Human?! Skill Up, c`mon ?!
I could've sworn they did three betas and an almost month long demo for Once Human. Should be an interesting game to play!
Uuh, ZZZ is not exclusive to Epic on PC, they have their own launcher where you can play Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact and ZZZ
No more remasters and remakes! New IP please!
Skull and bones just released
Resident Evil X (Resident Evil 9, the l from evil is the I for X)
They planned to release RE9 at October 24, 2025 based on their Platinum Titles Lineup.
I can personally confirm that this leak is extremely accurate.
The leak shows from MHR: Sunbreak to MHW Wilds DLC and Pragmata.
I check every single release date from this leak:
MHR:Sunbreak - Accurate
RE8: Winters' Expansion - Accurate
RE4 Remake - Accurate
SF6 - Accurate
RE4: Separate Ways - Accurate
Dragon Dogma 2 - Accurate
Based on the accuracy of the leaks so far, I believe the next title will also be accurate, assuming nothing changes.
Monster Hunter Wilds - March 14, 2025
Resident Evil X (RE9) - October 24, 2025
Monster Hunter Wilds: Cataclysm and Pragmata - 2026 TBD
When Final Shape review?!
Next week
destiny 2 should learn from warframe and reduce the size of it, which is one of the main reasons i haven't been able to get into it. warframe has so much content yet its like 40gb while destiny 2 is like 120
Honestly seeing this notification and hearing “gamers!” is always a highlight of my week. That sounds kinda sad but fuck it, it’s a good show
"Please look forward to it" is just a dumb literal translation that means the exact same thing as "stay tuned". Please stop repeating it for the quintillionth time like it's the funniest thing ever, the boomerness is making my brain bleed
How about Ubisoft CEO calling gamers bigoted for disliking their games?
These are not news enough for you?
As I'm watching this, I actually completed the FFXIV Dawntrail main scenario, and I would like to share some thoughts about it.
Overall, I think the steam reviews might be overreacting, but they are touching on a larger issue with the writing we have had with the game since Endwalker's conclusion. The Post-Endwalker quests were focused on Zero as a character, and the first half of Dawntrail is focused on Wuk Lamat. Both of these characters become the protagonist of their respective situations, with your character just following them around, and then punching the big bad once the protagonist of the story breaks their shield or whatever.
It is a completely different style of writing, most likely done for two major reasons: First of all, the lead writer for Shadowbringers and Endwalker, Natsuko Ishikawa, is now in a more managerial role since Endwalker's conclusion. And the second reason that there is a different type of writing being showcased here is because it is "easier" to write a more traditional story with a protagonist who has flaws and needs to overcome them.
I don't hate this decision, but it is at odds with the style of writing that we experienced for the last 10-year saga of FFXIV. The previous expansions featured stories that had multiple characters going through arcs, and also dealt with certain political intrigue, philosophical, or ideological themes. Zero as a main character had many writing flaws, and they went all into this style of character writing for Dawntrail, which is a huge shame. There is potential for it. For what it is worth, I think that Wuk Lamat is a more interesting character than Lyse was in Stormblood, but we are way more attached to Wuk Lamat's progression than we ever were to Lyse. And there were plenty of other characters for Lyse to interact with within the Scions, whereas most of Wuk Lamat's growth comes from our character's slowly nodding at her. It just isn't interesting.
All that being said, the second half of the expansion was way better than the first. I was afraid I would dislike the whiplash of the prematurely announced "Solution Nine" zone, but it fit beautifully into the themes of leadership and war in a way that I found really interesting. This expansion also had so many FFIX references that were a million times better than the FFIV references in the Post-Endwalker story patches.
