This is my last 2k for real until they make the game less grindy which is probably never gonna happen. You shouldn't have to spend 200 hours vc grinding or over $50 every time you wanna make a new build it's ridiculous. No other game has microtransactions that are this predatory. The other games I've been playing I've been having more fun with less money and time invested. I would have more fun on 2k if I could make as many builds as I wanted without feeling like I have to slave for vc.

Crazy how much they've changed the value of certain attributes when building. I have a build from season 2 that i can't come close to being able to create now because i run out of attribute points.

It's a video game. I shouldn't have to have 10 different builds for 10 different styles of play. If I want to have fun at multiple aspects of basketball, I'll just go and play NBA Live 19.
Shooting needs to be more consistent. I know Brut is very good at the game but for me being an average Joe I would like more consistent shooting. Do we need all of the different shot timings? I don’t like that my 86 3pt build shoots better than my 92 3pt build. I would like a few more attribute points too. I like that the builder because the 6’9’s were out of control on 2k23. However just a few more attribute points would go a long way. I agree, I hope they invest in game testing. It’s frustrating to make a build and have a patch render it useless.
It might be your timing is too fast. Might need to cut that speed notch down just one tab. I see way too many 90 plus 3 point shots with way too quick jumpshot to time consistently. I’m shooting 70 percent from 3 with a 86 3, and it’s all about the cue and finding the right timer for you. Everybody can’t shoot with the quickest release
If 2k get rid of the pie charts in the beginning of the game. It will be fun again. Got a 94+ three they won’t let u breathe. Don’t have a three ball they under the rim. I rather ish be a surprise sometimes

It’s not that they are saying to take away gambling. What they’re saying is to put the top cards in the player market to buy with MT which was promised they were going to do before the game even launched. They said that every card will be obtainable but that was clearly a lie. So no, its not what they signed up for, including me
They should make Two version of the game one Rated T for Teens 13+ without Microtransaction and one Version Rated M for Mature ages 17+ which has microtransactions The Rated T version has skill points to upgrade your attributes where you have to play the game on any mode to earn them and use themto increase your overall like they did in Nba Live 18 and 19
I’m confused at how MyTeam is a gamble, outside of buying packs they let you buy more than 80% of the cards. You can grind, through games and challenges to get the ones they don’t let you buy. Where is the gamble?

As far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t matter to me just like it doesn’t matter to you because we probably both don’t care about those things. But for the people who grind MyTeam out and aim for those specific cards then yes, it’s definitely a gamble. & addiction runs its course through their veins.

I disagree. I wholeheartedly believe we need more attribute points based on two perspectives. First, the tag line of MyPlayer is we are supposed to be a generational talent. How is that possible when our MyPlayers at 99 overall equals 80-82 in the base game? That means I am a third best option? What's generational about this? Second, If I only play MyCareer solo with no desire to play Rec or Park, why are my builds restricted to roles? If you play online, cool. No issues at all and balance should always be considered. However, if I am playing solo, I should be able to play whatever style I want be it role playing, secondary star, or superstar. This is purely my opinion. I believe this could bring fun back though.

I hated how everything in analog dunks now... nba 2k23 I got alota dunks off using square button ...I wish the opition for that was there at least for my career where I spent 90% of my time. The builder is pretty good. Nice that you cant max everything out (people do just fine with 70s/80s attributes). I would like to see attributes not be so limited depending on height/weight/etc. and also see the attribute weights kind of flip though. For example, shooting should cost more the taller you are, not the other way around. Smaller players are usually better shooters. Or, post control should cost more the smaller you are as bigger players are naturally better down low. Doesnt make much sense that players get so limited when they go for attributes they should be good at naturally (tall players shouldnt have to limit their build just to get rebounding)

We definitely need more attributes. Our players are really role players lol. It’s extremely difficult to have one character for the year cause characters are so restricted and we create builds to do things our other builds cant. I dont think anyone showed me a build this yesr that impressed me cause the builds we create lack so much stuff (eg animations, badges)
And when everyone have the superstar and no one wants to pass the ball, you’ll be the same one complaining lol…. It’s a team sport my G.
@@brutalsim lol i play triple threat co op in myteam and everyone uses cards with 90+ in almost all categories and its fun, never had a toxic experience yet. In my opinion its more toxic in mycareer cause we are given the freedom to put attributes everywhere and think they can do everything when they really can’t. If people can contribute more to the team I think it would be less toxic
