Love the idea of Library basket, that would be helpful to return them on time! Zone 3 this week for me, warming lunch, dusted the spare room and watching hygge videos - perfect balance.
Hi Diane, I'm a basketweaver, so baskets all over the house ! Have always loved baskets so decided to go to a basket weaving course about 6 or 7 years ago and I love it ! Have watched this video whilst folding a load of washing and putting it away ! Thanks for the motivation on a very grey morning in Belgium!

Wow! My daughter is grown now, but I love the idea of the Friday night snack basket and not eating this type of food during the week!! This would have been a great thing to do with her as she was growing up. Would have been a great tradition.

My father-in-law always grinned at my extensive collection of baskets. Such a lovely man. I rotate how and where I use them in every room. I spray paint some that are not used for food. My dad, a lovely man, died in 1972. I still use one of the arrangement baskets for magazines. I like to give big gift baskets for occasions. Our grandson and wife just bought a new home. I filled a big one with gobs of cleaning supplies, use a clear bag and ribbon. They loved it. I did not know I did hygge.....

I hade some very beautiful wicker baskets in our home in Wales but when I left Wales for good I gifted them to family. As yet I haven't found any in Cyprus that I really love. I like Fridays and have always treated it as the start to the weekend and quite often I treat myself to sweets and chocolate and sometimes a pink gin. We haven't been visiting any markets or large department stores but I would like to buy a few wicker baskets when I get the chance. I absolutely love them . I had one in the hall under a wooden hall stand that looked georgeous and was great for my scarf gloves slippers and anything else I might need on the way out or as I arrived home. They certainly free up any flat surfaces from what ends up looking like clutter and cuts down the number of hotspots .

The bookmarks in the basket with the books is a great idea. I was putting them in the bookcase.
Library basket is genius! I’m constantly taking my stack of books from the bedroom to the living room to the kitchen etc. I end up with them scattered everywhere. Now I can just grab the basket and go. So smart. Can’t believe I didn’t think of that before.

Gorgeous video. The last shot of the tulips and snow was just so peaceful. Because of your use of a pamper basket, awhile ago I evicted the clutter from a basket I had below my coffee table and filled it with little bits of joy. Such a simple thing but really makes my day brighter and I use things that might be forgotten about otherwise. Love from Saint Louis.

Wonderful ideas with the baskets! I have an ottoman with storage space and had been keeping library books in there but I have found that if something is out of sight then it’s out of my mind so putting library books in a basket would probably be better for me!

I love your white tulips, Diane! Not quite time for them yet here in the northern states but hopefully soon. You've inspired me to put together a pamper basket. Plus I love the idea of putting the already read library books in a bag ready to go back. So much better than being piled on a corner of my dresser!

Hi Robin! Tulips are my favourites and these white ones are actually plastic ones (I found them at a Swedish charity shop last year)...so I can enjoy them all year round!

I love my fuzzy socks and lap robe in the cold months! Doing my small fix its to be done before warm weather comes in ( will be awhile). We have a small stainless steel cart with different bins for different kinds of snacks, treats, teas, electric kettle and my son’s Keurig machine and the pods that go with.

Baskets rule! In moderation of course. Great minds think alike, Diane ;) I have a hygge basket beside ‘my’ chair in the living room. I also have a basket for goodies - which I keep hidden. And a basket for our reusable shopping bags which I keep near the entry door (but out of sight). Great video! xxx

Hi from sunny AZ, love the baskets..and the birds chirping in backround. It is just my hubby and me here, so blankets for snuggling on sofa to watch tv, candles and I love incense(sandalwood) so my home smells like that all the time. Great ideas...

Wednesday Morning. Finished refinishing closet rods and all closets were emptied, cleaned, and sorted. Fresh for spring! Continuing on sanding staircase rail and will apply the first of three coats of polyurethane this morning. Good that I did not get to the roses since we just had snow and a cold spell. The warm up may start this weekend.

A snack basket is a really nice idea and it would go down well in our house. You will be enjoying having more daylight but our days are noticeably shorter here in New Zealand.
While watching I went and got my very messy bag of embroidery floss to roll on to cards. Have needed to do it for some time. We play a lot of board games as a family so I will be doing a game night snack basket, I’ve seen you talk about your Friday basket before. I don’t know why it didn’t click before to do one. I’m in Texas, the North American Headquarters for Lay’s and I’ve never seen that flavor! I’d love to try it. Wonder what flavors we have you don’t. A couple of popular ones here are Barbecue and Sour Cream & Onion. LOL This video was much more informative than just crisps/chips - just to be clear. 😂 Love baskets and I will now call myself a basket case too!

When I visited Maryland there was a local brand of chips in basically an Old Bay flavor. They were so good!
You lucky people who have libraries and thrift shops open. Ours are closed in Scotland. I do know a shop where I could buy baskets though and fill them with goodies.

The tulips are so cute against the snow! ☺️ I really feel compelled t I say that I don’t like so many pop-up title cards and etc; like so much post production and edits in videos as this one has. I prefer simple. I watch a fair bit of UA-cam, and actually subscribe, but I don’t like anything “UA-camr-y” when it comes to what I choose to watch.

I'm Scottish (English is my mother tongue), worked at the Europen Supreme Court in Luxembourg before moving to Denmark and I speak French, Danish and Swedish 🖖😊
When we visited Denmark two years ago, my husband and I were taken aback at how many children were casually eating candy and ice cream in the early mornings ... and the large groups of boisterous young men that gathered in the streets to openly drink. So, I beg to differ about the Danish culture saving treats for the weekend! Just our observation. People are people.
Probably tourists. Danish children would have been in school in the morning.
