I got 6 kids so it feels like you have a full bladder and you have to hold it in but its like someone is sitting on your bladder. As contractions go up , the more it feels full and pressed upon with more weight added. I advise that you get and early epidural, as soon as they allow it. The later you wait the less potent it is. Ok so when it’s time to push, push like you have to go number two. Nurses will wipe you and if the dad is there tell him not to watch until it’s your last few pushes. It all feels fine once the baby is born. There is one more time to push and that’s to push the placenta out. You will have period cramps after so ask for pain medicine, as much as you are allowed. Could be like tylonal with codine, or a prescription strength ibuprofen. If you are planning to breast feed they may not want to give you anything but over the counter medicine. Hope this helps.
