Well, that was a surprise! I was rooting for Rasika again, and disappointed again. I applaud Tom for giving her another chance, and making it fair with best 2 out of 3. Also wish Kaleena all the best!
wow Kevin is really on fire in Last Chance Kitchen. Good for him. Amazing work too Rasika
I love Rasika and would love to try her dishes, but it seems like she made the same mistake as last time by making something that just requires more time than she can give it.
I love Kévin's attitude in this series. He rolls with the punches like a pro.
THIS Challenge was the best of all this season for me... first time i had the feeling the chefs are making something from and with their heart on it. Sad for Rasika it was on Last Chance kitchen and against Kevin :/
When I saw the time on the video I knew kevin won. He is just more experienced, mature and composed in their cooking to rasika. Good luck to both them.
Power Bottoms stay winning.
Chef you are a very classy guy. I do not know how you can make those choices on the fly especially when you say they are so close. I just finished watching this Last Chance Kitchen on Bravo. I've watched since Season 1 and it looks like Kaleena and the one who did the front of house service hadn't seen previous Restaurant Wars because both made glaring mistakes such as not serving the judges as soon as they sat and ordered or not greeting the judges when they came in and sat down. The unsaid rule is 'Judges first and foremost.' Aside from this and that Chaos episode which I did not understand, I am enjoying the contestants, and judges.
I thought this would give Rasika a clear chance to get back in but looking at the dishes involved it was clear Kevin was the winner. Shocked that Rasika is out, she was so great this season and I thought when she first got eliminated that she would cruise her way through LCK and get back in. Kevin really stepped up his game!
I find it perplexing that Rasika keeps saying South Indian cuisine isn't very popular. I can't swing a cat in my town and not hit a South Indian restaurant. They're everywhere and I don't live in LA or NYC. 🤷♀️
She wasn't saying it was unpopular - just not as popular as North Indian cuisine.
Kaleena absolutely made the right call mental health is something that should be taken very seriously best wishes to her
The only twist to get these lamos back is if Tom makes their meals.
Let Kevin know that I take my sandwidge with a pickle. Mwaaaai!
What the twist? Lol rasika goes down twice!🤯
Thankful she went down again. Kevin already beat her, and IMO she just wasn't that great to get back into competition.
Streaming service I watch Top Chef on does not stream Last Chance this year for some reason so only get to watch 3 episodes Bravo has here on UA-cam 🤦♀️ not cool.
I'd do the same as Kalina. Cut from the main competition twice? Time to give it up and go home. I'd be over it too. Personally, I think Chefs who have been cut more than once shouldn't go to Last Chance Kitchen. They already had their 2nd chance.
Yeah I agree.
I get it and good luck to her.
Good for Chef Kaleena to stand up to Tom & prioritize herself.
Kaleena just quit
What just happened?
How did they just happen to have banana leaves in the pantry?
why is that such a surprise? Chefs will use it from time to time so they have it stocked. Not a big deal.
Rasika!!! I want to taste her food!!!
This feels like one of the weaker casts in recent Top Chef and with that there's no telling who's gonna win this season. But man there is a lot of inconsistent cooking
agreed. Danny seems the most consistent but overall a very weak cast.
Rasika has to come back at some point
Why? One trick pony
@@lindaschrier2330 I mean on future seasons. She’s young but has a lot of potential it seems.
Who quit???? Was this in episode 8????
Years ago, TOM would have said.."One trick ponies" w/o blinking an eye. Nowadays NOPE, he cant say that. Poor Tom, nip it in the butt
I miss Rasika.
Wishing all the best to Kaleena. She is a good chef, and not everybody can compete. I love Rasika and i love Kevin.
If homeboy says LETS GOOO, one more time .... holy
Laura should've gone home. Geez the woman is like teflon, nothing sticks.
I don't blame her for leaving the show. This season has been a mess.
Come on come on Jessica you can do it 👍😄👩🦰🌹
who is jessica....
Kaleena made the right choice! Nothing she could’ve done would’ve made her win the show. It seems that production wants Michelle or Danny to win the show. It’s pretty obvious. Everyone else is vying for runner up positions.
…or it could be that they really like Danny and Michelle’s food?
Why does think that everything is rigged these days? You know nothing about production yet you question the integrity of the judges and crew. Thats disrespectful. The world is in trouble if no one can win or lose anything anymore.
How could you watch her performance in Restaurant Wars and think she deserved to stay? If everyone was messing up the table numbers, there was clearly an issue with her expo-ing or how she set up the numbers. If everyone is “doing it wrong” maybe she should have looked at her system.
@@alixaugustine9599right? She’s really just not good at team work nor staying cool under pressure
Giving a contestant a plausible "winner's edit" is just good editing, so we're not asking questions like, "How did that guy who sucked all season end up killing it in the finale?" As an example, look at the seasons of Survivor where the winner didn't get a winner's edit -- the audience gets crazy upset and feels like they've been blindsided.
Welcome to 2024 when quitting is celebrated more than fortitude and perseverance.
Why don't you mind your own business - Isn't that what you say? Stay out of her job!
She wasn’t celebrated, they just commended her for making the right decision for herself. There was no chance she was going to come back again, so why tarnish your legacy when you know you’re burnt out?
So disappointed with Kaleena
yes - how dare she make a decision for what is right for her life - a cooking game show is more important then anything else.
Disliked Rasika since the first episode. Glad she got the boot again.
Kaleena quit for "mental" health reasons really??? You quit, you realized that you're not going to win and you just quit. That's not a mental health issue, that's just an ego. Exactly what you expect from that generation. You don't EVER quit unless you're dead.
Lol says the basement talentless lazy guy who wouldn't even last a quickfire.
wrong
@eaglesandowls Your opinion. You have one but it's wrong.
GARBAGE ! ABSOLUTE NONSENSE
TOM GOING SENILE???? HE'S NOT THE GUY ANYMORE
