I love that you went to meet your sister instead of having to find their way. And, I loved to see your husband hug you and kiss you instead of being impatient. This was a great video showing the good and the awkward happenings of traveling in the unknown.
Agree. That's so sweet. I live in Seoul now and I always go to airport when my family or friends in the States come to visit. I just can't sit around and wait until they come to my place. 😊
This was a perfect video of you and your lovely daughter picking up your family ! Your sister is so glamorous! And your nephew a real sweetheart just love his enthusiasm! And your husband is a real gem. Thank you so much your wonderful smile is contagious!
Beth, I often ask myself who I'd like to be when I grow up. I often think of you. You live life with so much grace and gratitude and I love the relationships you have with your kids and your family!
It's so nice that your family had you to be their tour guide. What a lovely trip. I love that your nephew wanted a baguette. The ones back home will never live up to that one in Paris. I feel extremely lucky to have been to Paris in the 90s, so I got to go inside Notre Dame. When the fire happened, it really reminded me that you can't take for granted these historic places will always be there. I'm glad they will be able to restore her. I loved my visit to Paris. Your video has brought back a lot of memories for me. I remember crying on the flight home because I wanted to stay there forever.
My husband and I are longtime fans of your channel and this may have been our favorite video yet. I am also Italian-American and got choked up when you met your sister and nephew at the airport. Also, we were laughing hysterically when we heard Philippe had to come pick you up. Having a good husband is priceless! 😅
Beth, i get real anxious when things go wrong..I have some trauma from childhood of being constantly blamed berated so I try to not break down in tears as a reaction of fear. This is wholesome, and Makes me happy to see a good family. I like how you filmed everyone, and its nice to hear your advise. I will watch again at different time. Sending a big hug and Saloooo 🙏🥰💕🥖🥐
✈️ I am in heaven watching your videos of travel!!!! Thank you so much for sharing and allowing us to see places and things and educating us all the while !!!
Just as Beth takes us through her incredible recipes with ease and the most clever of tips, guiding us through Paris is done with the same savoire-faire and casual elegance! I've been to Paris dozens of times but you never see this incredible city the same way twice - being on this voyeuristic trip with Beth, her beautiful sister, adorable daughter and nephew proves that! Thanks as always Beth for the next-level Vlogging - and hey who hasn't hopped on the wrong train once or twice! Delightful!
This is so refreshing and genuine. No airs at all. Just a genuine and loving family spending time together and making memories .....even as they work through grief.
Beth you are the best!! the best mom and the best aunt & a sister. I did Paris just like you with my sisters, my kids their kids. It was so much fun. last day we did Palace of Versailles. Rented a car and off we drove to south of France and to Italy. It was the best vacation. My Sister made every thing easy for us. Love your vlog.❤keep the fun going!!
Gosh I know the stress of train troubles all too well. Got off on the wrong stop on my way to see Claude Monet home and it was quite stressful but well worth it in the end 😮💨😊
Dear Beth thank you for taking me along in this beautiful trip through Paris, Versailles was so beautiful brought tears to my eyes, I am not sure if I will ever make this trip in person, but the first time was with you. Thank you.
Oh just loved watching this Beth! Many thanks for sharing with us back home. Kept having rememberences of the film Charade with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn! 😊
Husband and I just watched the episode. You are awesome as always. We were just in Paris with Seattle visitors and St Gilles. Keep up the amazing videos, one day we will meet in person I hope. Oh, just got back to Pouzauges, Vendee from a few days in LaRochelle and Isle de Re for our first time. It was awesome! Your video on are was very helpful too.
How Beautiful and delightful to watch you and Meg having fun with your kids in Paris for 48 hours! I took my kids to Paris last Year for a long weekend and What could be more amazing than to introduce your kids to Paris! We stayed next to the Latin quarters too! I can’t believe it’s 23 years ago that I attended your gorgeous wedding! Time sure flies! Next time come visit me and the kids in Notting Hill ❤😊
I believe nothing is more wonderful than the relationship between sisters. You are very fortunate not only to have a loving family, but a sister and nephew who also enjoy not only their aunt and niece but the enjoyment of traveling and spending time together. I was very fortunate to not only have traveled to Paris, but also to see Versailles, which I found to be absolutely stunning, I was in awed, and seeing your video brought back fond memories. Than you sharing, wishing you continued success in your work.
What a great tour thank you,,, Nothing beats fun with your sister,, But my belated sympathy to you and your family,, losing your brother is so hard,,,, All the more reason to make the memories while you can,,,, cest la vie!
Beth, le fin de la tournée was a nail biter!!!! What a MARVELLOUS trip especially with your sister Meg, nephew Luke, and daughter Orly...I can't get over how much Orly looks like you, she's adorable. LOVE all the places that you visited, the restaurant and the hotel everything was so perfect and I felt that I was right there with you guys. THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful trip and experience with us. 😘😘😘Bisous!!!!!
I just loved seeing my own little whirlwind tour with you and your family. Meg is truly lovely and her packing skills are stellar!😉 And Luke so appreciated the food, which was fun to see. You and your daughter are equally as lovely and the perfect hosts to your family! What amazing memories you must have made! Your whole family is a class act. It's so nice that they're willing to join you on your channel from time to time, sharing their own talents and personalities. I wish they each had their own UA-cam channel as well! I have no doubt they'd be informative and entertaining to watch! Seriously Beth, so often, you somehow manage to make your viewers feel like part of the family too! Thanks for taking us along once again! 🥰
What an adventure Beth, truly getting into the train station and finding the correct train is a hell out of task. We were in Paris at 2016 with two kids as it was our grand Uk and Europe trip so we had zillion bags and realised the train station is not lift friendly. We had so much pain to board and off the train between London and Paris.
You are so much fun to travel with if only by video. Even with the train fiasco, it made for wonderful funny memories. Thanks for sharing and for all the great tips-I took notes. Have a wonderful relaxing stay.
Oh Beth! You really cracks me up with the McDonalds vs French cafe takeaway! Ha ha ha....Of course French without a doubt, its a sin to be compared with junk foods! Yeah! OMG!! I almost had a heart attack when you guys had to make a dash for the luggage!! And the wrong train!! What an adventure!!
Beth, I love that you show the good the bad and the ugly of your travel adventures. The kids are such great sports and your sister is darling. You both are so cute together. I am really looking forward to your videos from the beach house. Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing your time in Paris with your sister and nephew. I love how you all had as big of smiles on during the challenging times as you did during the times you were eating! You and your sister should be very proud of what wonderful children you both have! Can’t wait for the next video from France!
Another great vlog. I’m going to watch all the videos, then buy some croissants, wine , baguette etc and re watch all. This is fun. Thanks Beth . See ya next week
Beth, this was such a refreshing video of your trip to Paris! I'm always looking for videos of people traveling to Europe and most are by influencers and while fun to watch, it does feel a bit inauthentic and not relatable. Loved all the tips you shared along the way.
1st comment, I'll probably write a few more. I love that you went to the airport to get your sister. ❤ I love her in the hot pink dress. She looks so pretty! I want that dress. Now I'll go back to video because I'm still in the bistro with you all & I paused to stare longingly at the desserts.😊
Even with all your mishaps you all know how to brush them off and have a great time. I would love to travel with gals like you and your sister. What a hoot! And thanks for the super video of Paris.
Oh mon Dieu Beth, that was quiet a hectic 2 days journey in Paris , yet you made it so enjoyable ,the site tour ,the food and most admiring of all , how you entertain for your sister and her adorable kid . So touching to reunite as family . Bless you Beth .❤
Ditto to all the comments above. You had me cracking up. We have a second home in Spain in a remote town and packing for two months and taking trains is the most dreaded thing we do. You all did it with such a great attitude. You are always an inspiration Beth and your joy is infectious. Can’t wait for more.
It really is! But it was our fault for starting in Italy! I'm leaving all these clothes here at the French House and next year starting from France! LOL! And if traveling it will be a tiny Euro suitcase!!
Firstly, you and your sister are so cute together! And Luke is such a young gentleman. How nice for the four of you to experience Paris, if even for a short time, in such good company. I spent a week in Paris on a Rick Steves' tour in July of 2005, and I was able to see the major sites that you did. However, it was hotter than Hades! Paris is such a lovely city with something for everyone to enjoy!
What a happy family you have. Your nephew is adorable. You are a great aunt. Thank you for sharing your vacation with us. It’s all about family!!! Wonderful video . Truly enjoyed it. Feel like I was there.
Haha your train mishaps definitely remind me of the amazing race. Versailles is BEAUTIFUL!! That’s so fun that you got to do that with your sister and your nephew
I have just caught this Beth I am enjoying it immensely, so much so I have sent it to my husband and one of my daughter. It’s not my business but your darling nephew is just a delight so polite and of course handsome .Wendy U.K.
This was adorable from start to finish. I am writing down all of your/your husband's restaurant recommendations for next time I'm in Paris! I lived there briefly while studying patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu but ironically, you are eating so much delicious food at the school, you don't have time (or stomach space) to try as many places as you'd like! Loved watching your adventure (complete with train mishaps which are so relatable).
Ha ha ha! Yes, those train mishaps were the cherry on top ha ha ha we are still laughing about it, but it all comes with the act of traveling! So glad you enjoyed the video!
Ok, I've watched the whole video now and I loved your 2 days but now I have PTSD about riding trains in a country where I don't speak the language. Glad you all had fun. I'm tired on your behalf. I have a son and I can attest they do love riding on the boat tours.😊
The misadventures of Beth and crew. Oooh la la...😂😂😂..you are all Nuts, in the best way of course. I'm out of breath just watching. Beautiful adventures. Your nephew and daughter were superb. Your sister is quite the shopper too. Oh I enjoyed watching you guys make those mad sprints...😂😂😂. I was laughing all through. Thanks love....❤❤
Whew..trip full of good things..be on a roll for sure…it’s awesome…thanks for letting us tag along. The kids are as cute as they can be. I love that age. I’m going to watch it again. Nice to see your sister and nephew. Can’t imagine in my wildest dreams the massive Versailles and grounds. I love that your husband met you and your daughter with a big hug & kiss! Thanks Beth.❤️
Good afternoon Beth! Oh, what fun y’all are having…the kids enjoying fun times together and of course, sisters making memories! All of the food looked delicious and the sights were fabulous! I do believe your husband was glad to see you! 😊 Thank you for sharing your time in beautiful Paris! 💕
I love your packing videos so much, who knew your suitcase would end up being such a challenge to navigate with. 😁 (I know 2 months of travel makes packing light tough...) Next packing video you'll need to fly your sister in to add her master packing skills to the mix. ☺️ You two are just adorable together, and watching the cousins building summer memories together was super touching. You have a beautiful family! Out of all the food you showed in Paris, I was most enticed by the food at the train station of all places. How comforting to be able to load up on delicious savories and sweets when you're on the move. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
Ha! Yes! I should just have my sister pack me and meet me there! Seriously, leaving all these clothes at our French house and bringing a back pack next year! My packing video will be "What's in my backpack!" LOL!
While traveling w a friend I once got on the wrong train in Italy. We thought we were headed to Venice. We weren't. My friend had come in from the US & had a Eurail Pass. I didn't qualify for a Eurail Pass so just had a regular ticket. Thank goodness for my regular ticket. The train we got on was headed to Yugoslavia. The conductor was really kind & he stopped the train, escorted us into a super tiny station which seemed to be in the middle of a field, & took my money to purchase a ticket for me. He took us to the other side of the tracks & got us onto the correct train. A few hours later than anticipated we finally arrived in Venice. I was so impressed with how well this man treated us & how he really took all of the panic out of our situation. I couldn't help but wonder about the passengers whose journey to Yugoslavia had been interrupted & stalled for quite a while. One thing I know is that this could never happen in the US. Not just because trains aren't really much of an option for travel but also because Schedules are engraved in stone. Can you even imagine?
I love that you went to meet your sister instead of having to find their way. And, I loved to see your husband hug you and kiss you instead of being impatient. This was a great video showing the good and the awkward happenings of traveling in the unknown.
Yes! If there's anything we can count on it's the unpredictability of travel!! LOL!
Agree. That's so sweet. I live in Seoul now and I always go to airport when my family or friends in the States come to visit. I just can't sit around and wait until they come to my place. 😊
@@EntertainingWithBeth Can I ask your sister where she got the big puff blouse? I think it's so pretty!
Love Luke’s appreciation for all the food.
I know me too! Too cute! :)

My goodness! Your daughter navigating Paris, the golf cart info, the train/luggage fiasco - what a little champion! I am so impressed!
This was a perfect video of you and your lovely daughter picking up your family ! Your sister is so glamorous! And your nephew a real sweetheart just love his enthusiasm! And your husband is a real gem. Thank you so much your wonderful smile is contagious!

@@EntertainingWithBeth What a great idea! Sis, @merudevi is right. Let's plan another trip. :)
Oh my! I can just see it now! How totally sweet of that nice man! I'm always in awe at the Italian Hospitality! Truly unmatched!
