Tia Wessells This is my favorite song but a close runner up is There You Go Telling Me No Again by Keith Sweat, I really like that one too.
R LI ”There You Go” was my favorite song on that soundtrack, and the only song I ever liked from Keith Sweat. People always look at me funny, when I say that. For some reason I just don't like his voice, but on that song it was bearable. 🤷🏾♀️
Msboochie2 Keith also was in the movie singing at the wedding (small part) if you remember but yeah Keith does tend to whine in his songs which some people don’t like but yes this was a great song.

It's so interesting that I never heard of him.
According to my research the song was recorded in 1990 and released in 1991.
Research also shows that Al B Sure is his cousin and Ella Fitzgerald is his aunt.

yousexymf I also saw Christopher’s Unsung and you’re right the show didn’t say they were. Al B. Sure was called his friend. And I said that to my friends for years when they told me they were indeed related. But it says on his Wikipedia and several other sources dated since 2012 that said they are, the two just never publicly acknowledged it for some reason.
