Great interview. My Oasis journey is similar to Brian's. I was into Green Day in 1994, and r and b like Boyz to Men. I didn't even know about Definitely Maybe. I don't even remember any of the videos being played on MTV or songs on the radio. My brother and I were the only kids in my high school who were into Oasis. When Wonderwall came out, my older brothers were like, "Check this out." I didn't like it at first. Then, when Don't Look Back in Anger came out, I was hooked and became obsessed. I didnt even know what B-sides were at that time. I can't remember how I found out what they were. I went to my record store to buy Oasis singles just for the B-sides. I did this for Be Here Now as well. Those imports were expensive but worth it. One of my older brothers had a friend who's cousin was a massive Oasis fan, she was in Canada. She sent me cassette tapes with live performances and B-sides. Then, she sent me a VHS tape with lots of Oasis stuff I hadn't seen before. I taped the MTV unplugged and watch it so many times that I wore out the tape. My first Oasis concert was in January 1998 near Washington DC. I remember Noel and Liam had to tell the crowed to calm down because we were too wild, lol. I was also at their last U.S. concert in December 2008 at the same location. I hope they announce North American tour dates.
