Ronnie and Mick Taylor sound so damn good it's just amazing. I wish I could have been there to experience this blues music from them. They are legendary musicians and artists. This is heaven to my ears. This is just plain old fashioned phenomenal music, played by 2 icons who know how to play.
Für mich war die beste Zeit der Stones die mit Mick Taylor. Dann sah ich sie 1976 mit Ron Wood. Now these two guys grooving together on a small(?) stage - still got the Blues - I'm happy to see and hear that!
as a guitarist myself i must say that every guitarist should learn harp and add it to their act. it broadens your style and sound. harp really is indispensable for guitar-based American music.
Ronnie, Mick!!!
REALLY GREAT, TWO OF MY FAVORITES AS WELL, MINUS ONE,GUY THEY CALL KEEF, BUT THIS IS A FANTASTIC VIDEO, HAVE NOT SEEN BEFORE, GREAT POST,MAN MR.TAYLOR MAKES IT LOOK SO EASY THANK YOU FOR POSTING, Walter B,Memphis!!
Excellent To Witness These TWO GREAT'S TOGETHER, Wonder what would be IF MICK T.WOULD PLAY ON SOME UP UPCOMING STONES ALBUM 'S,.JUST A THOUGHT, WHEW MAN THAT JUST WOULD BE AWESOME, ESPECIALLY 70"S.WALTER B.MEMPHIS11😝
Nonesense....Woody fit the Stones like a glove....the guitar weaving between Woody and Keef is unparalleled.....you can blame Rod Stewart for ending the Faces....Woods solo albums are the best of all of them....
Larry Nolletti you’re right in saying that wood fit the stones like a glove, but that’s just because of his personality, I appreciate him for being the glue holding it all together but compare the 1973 tours to the 1975 ones and you’ll understand that they lost a spark, 1978 was their first decent tour with wood but none of his work will ever come close to Taylor’s mate everyone knows it
@@callumroberts8033 Everyone....???...look pal..to each his own....Mick Taylor was a gun for hire lead player brought in to do leads and play when and where by Keith on his songs....he was a massive step up from the fried burnt out acid head Brian Jones who wasn't interested in playing great music anymore...he was much more at home whacked on LSD dancing around in the Moroccan desert howling at the moon....Taylor was and is a fantastic player....I saw him shredding blues many times in small clubs in the 90's....unfortunately he was totally out of place in the Stones....he reminded me of a session player who got to go out on tour.....Taylor's bombastic Claptonesque lead assaults would wear thin....especially since with the exception of his fingers he wouldn't move or twitch a muscle an entire show..this is exemplified in the filmed in the dark "hey is their an audience " Ladies and Gentleman...The Rolling Stones......live Richards got lazy....sleepwalking thru shows barely playing or being heard behind the virtuoso....the Stones aren't the kind of band that need a virtuoso...it's about great songs and groove....chemistry...cohesion....comaraderie....showmanship...Wood woke up Keef from his coma....engaging him rather than burying him under a pentatonic avalanche....Love You Live was always the best live Stones album hands down....with the El Mocombo side as well....not the infantile Get Yer Ya Ya's Out....if I want to hear endless jamming to Stones songs I'll listen to Johnny Winter...I don't listen to the Stones for wailing leads....I get that elsewhere....Johnny....Rory Gallagher.....E.C. cica 1970-83.....SRV....75 and 76 tours are fantastic....with Billy Preston as well.....I love the Stones and all their phases....I prefer the Ron Wood era the most....did I mention that Woody's solo albums are the best of any of the Stones solo....including Taylor who unfortunately with out Mick and Keef never achieved anything more than the Claptonwannabee circuit in small clubs....about to watch From the Vault LA Forum 75.....awesome....
@@larrynolletti4594 Your argument had some substance to it until you called get yer ya ya's out 'infantile', its one of the most raw live albums the stones ever recorded in which Taylor plays lead on 7 out of the 15 stones tracks on the deluxe album which is hardly something to get upset about, more wannabee chuck berry than Mick Taylor at Madison Square Garden is what we like to hear! I know wood is a much better showman than Taylor no question about it, but that comes a lot easier when you don't have to play those beautiful solo's that Mick was capable of playing. There isn't some kind of magic guitarist bible that says 'thou shall not stand still' if you're a good guitarist you can do whatever the fuck you like. Anyone can dance about, no one could play like Mick Taylor. And to say Richards got lazy is complete bollocks, my friend, Taylor pushed Keith to play at his best, Keith played with such conviction and attack on those more raunchy tunes back in 72-73 n it's quite amazing to listen to, Keith even said it himself in an interview about the Brussels affair so I'd take is word for it mate, he was there after all. Wood didn't wake Richards out of his Coma, cutting down on the brown and sacking off Anita Pallenberg definitely had more of an influence, and when he was in this 'coma' we were blessed with some of the greatest songs and live performances of their career so shame on you woodyyyy if it really was you who woke him up! If by you mean Richards got to play more chuck berry licks instead of just rhythm then yeh sure, wood woke up Keef from his coma. Yes it is unfortunate that Mick didn't go onto accomplish bigger things and get the same recognition as less talented guitarists, but he was never the best songwriter, wood, on the other hand, had some brilliant solo work, but it's not the work that he is recognized for, and without Mick or Keef Ronnie would've just been remembered as that guy from the Faces, still a very talented musician nonetheless. I won't slate your Love you Live remark as it is a fucking great album but to say its the best one hands down is very subjective and the majority of stones fans would probably disagree with you, but then again pal, to each is own. About to watch From the Vault Marquee Club 71, and don't forget to put roses on my grave ;)
Wow Ronnie is so good to play harmonica❤❤and gitarr 😊and Mick Taylor sing and play gitarr so good❤❤❤to big legends toghether.Cant understand why Ronnie not play or sing in stage with Stones he be so Underated off Mick and Keith i think😢😢😢He is so good.Wow Ronnie and Mick❤❤❤❤😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Mick Taylor the guitarist that brought the Stones out of their teeny bopper era. Into the world of rock and roll. Unfortunately a couple of junkies wanted all the credit and money.

two of my favorite guitarists together. awesome
These two have been friends for many years. I didn’t know Ronnie played harp. I love this. They are great together.
Rose Blake That was actually the first instrument he learned. Even before guitar.
I think on ITS ONLY ROCKNROLL album bothe Keith, Mick Taylor and Ronnie played

Music like this must come from God although it's usually the Devil who gets the credit. Beyond beautiful isn't it?
Purveyors of some of the best rhythm and blues
Mick & Ronnie sound great . I wish they would team up again in the future.

@@dianeward5405: I totally agree with your assessment of this performance.✌
They are getting older on way to very old.!!¡!
They sung well together.
Was there, first time seeing Mick Taylor, Great Time & Memories.. Thank you for the upload !!!
Quanta diferença! Mick é um monstro da guitarra! Ron, apenas um guitarrista comum. Um cara maneiro!
A great cover truly brilliant but not surprising when you think of the talent on stage.
Ritmo che che ti prende, grande voglia di blues nel cuore. Grazie siete bravissimi.

Awesome. Saw that Bo & Ronnie tour.
I saw them at Harpos in Detroit.
Awesome

It broke my heart when Wood replaced Taylor on the 1975 tour....

Ron Woods was never able to showcase his talent with the Stones, because Keith Richards always wants to play lead.
What!!???

Jesus, you are not informed too good😊 Ronnie most of the time plays lead with the Stones! Keith is the riff-master and always will be!
Is this rod Stewart look alike?
Lmao. Rod and Ron are good friends and we’re in two bands together: The Jeff Beck Group and The Faces. Common knowledge.
Er, let's listen to Jimmy Reed & Eddie Taylor,.
