It's interesting how different areas do things differently. I'm in Western Pa right near the Oh line and over here sweet corn is always bagged in the mesh bags at the auction. The bins would be much simpler, but I guess the bags would be better for the buyer who doesn't have equipment on his end to handle the bins. How many dozen on average is in a bin? $7/doz wow, I'm guessing it will be $10/doz at the roadside stands. Glad I planted enough for us and the neighbors (and the raccoons, groundhogs, and deer).
Wowww lots of varieties of vagies n fruits its my first time to see a yellow cauliflower so amazing man and I just love those black berries n cherries n I could feel the fragrance of those flowers wonderful video man God bless u
Interesting. Beautiful veggies & flowers. Idk about touching all the veggies at the market though. Guess it’s a reminder to wash anything you buy really good.
Wowww…you can see the freshness through the screen! In my area, you always see a “lead in” priced item and leave the rest as/for impulse shopping. Loved seeing the Amish wagon wheels…didn’t see much of rubber, as in the olden days. Nice video, Logan!
I really liked this one especially! Thank you Logan! I've never been to the Leola auction. I've seen lots of footage, and yours is some of the best, and among the best explanations for people who are looking in on that side of agriculture and want to become familiar with how it works. I think you did a really great job especially; just my honest opinion! Those black caps at 3:36 +, those are gold! I wonder what those went for? lol Black cap jam is private stock lol Almost too precious to market. The blackberries at 4:00 are "ok" lol. This video was like a "pro" job, but with your personal, approachable feel that also made it a family experience, which the market is for many of the sellers and buyers. Thanks again!
That was very interesting to see what goes on at the fruit and veggie markets. They are very similar to the ones here in Brisbane. You have the good work mate your doing a great job.
The Veggie Boys said boxes of I think it was Cauliflower were going for $100 at the auction so they left. They said they usually sell for about $20 a box. People who need fruit and veggies are paying higher prices everywhere. I buy a lot of veggies at the store. I've had people say "I can't afford to get those". I always tell them "Put back those two $5.00 bags of snacks".
Hello! Glad to see everything going well so far this summer for you! No pressure at all, no time restraint but just curious if you’ll get around to making the videos with you playing with and popping all the big beach balls? Again I understand you’re all very busy especially during the summer but I was just curious if it was still going to happen. Thanks!
Sweet corn at the Cumberland valley auction outside shippensburg Pa a few weeks ago was going for $14 dz. And like you said. How can one make a profit after the overhead. Very nice videos sir.
Wow that was really interesting. The one small vegetable that you couldn’t identify is called Patty pan squash I believe. I’ve heard of these auctions before but I’ve never seen one before. It would have been interesting to know how much some of the boxes sold for. Maybe next time you can include some of the actual auction and bidding? Congratulations for getting the corn that you needed.🥰❤️🇨🇦🫶🏻

Love your videos, very informative. Wished I lived in an area with more farms. Thanks Logan.
Thanks for watching!! 😃
Eggplant is gorgeous!!!
Good leaf cabbage. Hard to find. We grow sweet corn by huge fields. Corn is 1.00 an earn in Georgia.
Love the video
Ooo I wish I leaving closer-I would buy box off whites peppers 👍😊🥰
Those big ol' berries are mulberries! Nice as jam. We have them growing everywhere wild in Toronto :) There's some nice fruit at that auction.
This is a nice one like it a lot
Very Interesting

Wow! Were these vegtables grow in greenhouses? Seems early, but they are absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for showing the auction. Is it just once a week? I've been wondering what it looked like (from hearing about one on Veggie Boys).
wow...
Good insight into what happens at a produce auction. How is the sweet corn this year so far? I'm dying for some tasty corn on the cob.....
the veggie boys also sometimes sell at that auction too
I miss sour cherries from Michigan, very good for baking.
Very nice

Hey Bobby I plan on doing a video soon when I can get some free time! Thanks for sticking around & enjoying my videos 😃
What do they charge the buyer and seller premium at the Auction
Buyer nothing, seller I’m not exactly sure. Thanks for watching!
the little yellow things are pan squash
Wow
Very cool. Do you have to have a special license to go there?
No,but you will have to pre-register. Get a number. Also if you don't have a buisness license, you'll will pay taxes.

Woah that’s crazy!! You’re right you can’t make a profit off that. Insane!! Thanks for watching 😃
What kind of corn, near me you can get a dozen for 5 bucks
The little yellow thinks look like a kind of squash
Show some actual bidding.
Where is this place at in Pennsylvania?
Leola, near Lancaster
Am I the only person that missed the auction?
Where the address please
How disappointing. From your description I thought I was going to get to see an auction. What I got was photos of lots of vegetables. 😩
