Taiwan, Vietnam & ASEAN countries should develop abundantly contagious and deadly biochemical weapons, suicide UAVs and long-range cruise missiles that can carry both biological and conventional weapons to go deeply inside China territory.. At that time, even there is no US or Russian intervention, China would not dare to attack Taiwan, Vietnam or any asean country.. The biochemical weapons could easily destroy the entire population of China which is around 1.4 billion people . .Bio-chemical weapons are easy to develop in large numbers in a very short time and it's not expensive to develop in a large quantities. One MASSIVE issue is training.
The Ukrainians trained before this war and it paid off. Taiwanese forces train in highly scripted events that don’t allow for realistic training from the operational level to the squad level. Munitions used for training are also totally inadequate meaning soldiers aren’t proficient in their weapons. And while conscription time has been extended to a year, that’s still pitiful. It takes time to make a good soldier and Taiwan will need good soldiers to overcome Chinese numerical and material advantages.

Taiwan's geography makes the island naturally quite easy to defend with only a few areas where a landing could be carried out with a chance of success. China could land paratroopers though (considering they'll probably have air superiority at the start of the war) but I'm sure the taiwanese armed forces have mapped out possible landing spots for enemy paratroopers.
You could say the chinese landing could be succesfull with a surprise attack but it's quite hard to not see a massive fleet approaching your shores from far away with modern technology.
Although China's armed forces are vastly larger than Taiwan's only a part of it could be transported with transport ships and even then the possible landing areas are too thin to get a large enough amount of soldiers on shore at once to establish a foothold on the island.

Switzerland was invaded by Napoleon and later there was no need to invade since everyone kept their money there. In the end all you have to do is control the "money" which is the ultimate invasion. If you doubt that it’s been invaded despite its fortress, ask yourself why it is BIS, GAVI and Davos WEF meeting held there. Yeah Switzerland has been so surely conquered it’s not even funny.
As for Taiwan, there was invasion of Taiwan by Imperial Japan, than Kuomintang (KMT, or Nationalist Party) and finally the USA. If you think that country can only be invaded and conquered by force of arms, you are mistaken.

@@randys2358 I'm sorry but I have to disagree regarding if Taiwan would still retain international support after that, that move will be the most unwise, short-sighted and reckless one can make and it can easily backfire horrifically. Now officially, and lets be real here, despite our wish for Taiwan being independent, Taiwan status as an independent country is still muddy at best; only a handful of countries recognized Taiwan as a country (and US strategic ambiguity may insinuate Taiwan being a country, depending on circumstances). However, a PR nightmare from Taiwan firing the first shot on Chinese troops in mainland soil will seal Taiwan's fate, And it'll be even worse if, lets say, Chinese civilians got caught in the crossfire. At that point the world would see Taiwan as the clear aggressor and condemns their preemptive strike, and that China can go on about having "every right to defend itself against rebel terrorism", also China will not be as isolated politically as Russia and the sanctions won't be as severe, not to mention the loss of face for the US and allies would be too much and they would either concede their support (or resorts to limited sanctions) or double-down and be forced into global conflict not everyone would be on board with, and it's started by the aggressive Taiwan, this time with the world having mediocre sympathy and a very polarized opinions about it.
One of the reasons Ukraine gets many unanimous International support at the beginning of the war and survived the invasion is that they managed to maintain a relatively good PR, and that amount of support (and sanctions on Russia) helps a lot in the long term. This pattern can be repeated if China were the clear aggressor.
The best course of action is to wait and prepare the defenses. Time is already on Taiwan's side after all. And if a buildup does happens, all they should do is to brace for impact and hold out until reinforcements arrives. We have Japan, Philippines, Australia, and the US Navy already on standby for a reason.

Strange as it sounds, I think China would invade the country of Russia before invading the country of Taiwan. If for no other reason than to lay claim to the part of disputed territory they are now making all newly made maps say has Chinese names and has been part of China "since ancient times" Also, I want someone to go up to the top of each Taiwan mountain over 9'000 feet and place a picture of Vegeta crushing a scouter as he says "The top of this mountain is over NINE THOUSAAAAND feet high!".

No, it is not strange that China would do a special military operation to Russia. It is a real shame that the CCP China contesting with its neighbors for territories which they claim used to belong to China, WITHOUT contesting with Russia over the territories in Pacific Siberia and West Xinjiang. What is in the mind of Chairman Xi (Mao v.2.0)?

I highly doubt that's gonna happen, it would be equivalent to the CCP shooting themselves at the foot while enjoying a jar of honey.
China currently has a small number of "allies", them attacking Russian territory would make a drastic turn on political stability in corrupt African and middle eastern countries that favor Russia.
Russia has a strong political Influence, attacking them would create friction and further lost of possible allies, which china right now can't afford.
What's most likely to happen is the Russian government might willingly give away some of it's territory in exchange for financial and military aid, while china take advantages Russia weakening soft power and fill the void they left in former Soviet states.

China backstabbing Russia? in this political climate? China NEEDS Russian energy to fuel the war effort and to keep the West distracted in Ukraine. Having Russia as an ally right now far benefits than taking over the Russian far east. Not only they'll shown themselves as untrustworthy in the geopolitical sense if they backstab Russia, furthermore it doesn't guarantee that doing so can earn brownie points for appeasing the West, if anything China would find themselves more isolated if they kneecap one of the major Western geopolitical rivals.
