All around Carlton, Gedling, Mapperley, Arnold, Burton Joyce, and Gunthorpe, in Nottm........ around 11 months ago...... LOADS of pot holes were sprayed around in yellow paint ( sometimes blue, white, or red paints are used and as I understand, the different colours represent priority tiers ( please correct me if Im wrong ) ) and this indicated where repairs would be made.
To this day, not even 1 of those pot holes have been repaired, and also the spray paint has been driven over so much that its all erased!
I noticed today, In Mapperley at the junction of Spring Lane on the mini island, several road surface defects have been sprayed around in yellow............... They already paid some1 on an 'above average' wage to go and spray them last year, so why are they paying some1 to go round spraying them all again now when they likely wont be repaired yet anyway??
There was a sink hole in the road on Darlton Drive in Arnold recently, close to Christ the King school, bad enough that they closed the road............. 5 - 6 weeks it took til they sent some1 to repair it..... took about 2 hours ( 3 at most ) to complete!! - Also though, caused because of inadaquately filling it in when the previous sewer pipe repair was made!!
Lastly, Road Tax is supposed to create a fund for mainting the roads.......... but its not used for that!!?? - It should be, and more so, EV drivers should still have to pay road tax too, everyone pay the same amount, ( this makes it fair for all road users ) otherwise all the none EV drivers road tax wil go up in price, which it is doing!......... We LITTERALLY cant ALL end up driving electric vehicles because there LITERALLY isnt enough lithium on the planet to do so !!
Vegetables should be ridiculously cheaper to buy! Costs way more to buy the veg for a homemade soup than it does to buy stupid expensive Heinz tins that are full of cancer giving ingredients!!

What exactly do councils actually do for the monies they acquire from the taxpayers? It almost seems like councils just prefer to be sustainable and do very little and pretend that their budgets are in shortfall. All they seem to do is collect the cash and give nice wage rises to those employed in higher positions, whilst the roads, social care, and the general condition of Britain's infrastructure go to pot, and the government prefers getting volunteers and community groups out doing what the council SHOULD be doing. Oh, I forgot! That is the future. Just like Soviet Russia.

Gedling Borough Council is a victim of their own incompetence, do they not have financial audits, to see how are taxes are being spent and by who.
