I really appreciated your playing, and found your video as I'm debating to use a 7 string vs 6 string for solo gigging. Do you think of the 7 string as much for building chords or more as the extended for bass?
Sam Dunn, So this is what my Ibanez AX7221 7 string is meant to be used for (the manual says its for jazz and not shredding lol)? I have had it for used and customized the pickups and knobs, as well as added passive filters. Been having trouble shredding on it because it isn't meant for shredding, I guess I should give Jazz a try, shouldn't to hard to switch from Thrash to Jazz considering I play bass and used to play trumpet in middleschool thru high school.
That would be awesome! I've been stocking up on instructional books and dvd's so it would be something I would want to definitely add it to my collection :)
