I hope this encourages them to start telling their audiences going forward. The author here did something smart and brave. They deserve the support they’ve received. It was so strong I’ve seen signs informing of it being sold out in stores, increasing awareness for the series as well.

i love love bullet so much, because a lot of people don’t realize that the cupids are aroace. even if only cupids caused love, koharu is literally cupioromantic; e.g., “i wanted to fall in love after all.” it was great representation for me, as an aroace himejoshi
@@leavemealone802 i mean, cupids would never have experienced love in their human lives to become reincarnated as a cupid, so it’s not like it’s this magic change from nowhere
@@find_chideva how accurate is this? The bullets make the cupids want to fall in love. Is this typical for aroace ppl? Do they want to fall in love? At the very least, it seems like a lot of them are ace.
@@ma.2089 that is a part of the aroace spectrum known as cupioromanticsm! it’s when someone is physically incapable of experiencing romantic love, but they yearn for it and romanticize it (literally). although some of the cupids will probably fall in love in their human lives, it’s more like that discovery is put to a halt
Omg someone else who reads the Cupid’s as aroace! As a fellow aroace person I felt such a strong connection to the cupids, especially Koharu getting confessed to and just feeling… nothing. Like the whole ‘my heart should be fluttering’ thing hit SO close to home. And while I’m not a matchmaker by any means I do really enjoy shipping characters, meanwhile I’ve never had a crush on anyone. Not even a celebrity crush. But still I sometimes want to know what it feels like to be in love and get jealous of those who do feel it. I've been following Love Bullet since it started getting translated and I've really liked it so far, so I was glad to hear that fans were able to rally around it. At the same time, I'm also pretty annoyed by the publisher. From the sound of it, they set pretty unreasonable standards for avoiding cancellation (after international fans started rallying, it turned out that selling out the online stores wasn't enough and the publisher also required that the stock they held in reserve also sell out). At the same time, the publisher did nothing to help promote the series, not even retweeting the author's own efforts on their official twitter. Obviously, the series continuing is the best outcome, but I really wish there was some way for the current publisher to not reap the reward from it.
I'm really curious on what kinds of love the series will handle. Like, what would happen if the target fell in love with an aroace person? Or can an aroace person ever become a cupid?
I was actually thinking a lot about that aroace cupid concept tbh. I think it could be factible if they are pure romantics who just enjoy seeing it but not experiencing it, perhaps, maybe they felt pressured to fall in love because of friendships or family and really never knew they were aroace on the first place.
