Great spot and food looks perfect! He did hang with ya bite for bite....looked like he was ready for a nap....LMAO. I bought half a dozen of those mounted stools at an antique store other day...these have green tops and thinking from Frischs back in the day if remember right....keep it up!
Thank you! I’ll do it!

Glad you enjoyed
Seen this place for years and never stopped, thanks for the review!
Our pleasure!
Great review, and great special guest. Food looks top notch. Enjoyed listening to the history too. Thanks so much Barry!
You’re welcome!
Placerville CA is beautiful and I visit my place in South Lake as often as I can. Awesome video!!!
Yes! Thank you!
Good ol' family owned Kentucky greasy 🥄 cafe... my Father born in Owensboro, KY... lived in Louisville all of his adult life (worked in the Distillery business) loved to eat at 'em... He would have surely liked this one!
Thank you!
My mom got me hooked on your videos lol. We hope you get to try our favorite spots Southern Hospitality in Louisville on Broadway. My mom and I love their fish and burgers. I treat her to this place at least once a month. Found it by accident decided to give them a try and now it's one of my top 5 restaurants.
La Bodeguita De Mima is one of our family and friend's favorite cuban restaurant in Louisville. They also keep a crowd for a reason. We hope you try them too we'd love to see your reviews.
The owner of La Bodega De Mina does not appreciate what I do, so I deleted three videos of restaurants he owns.
@goodallscountrykitchen I'm so sorry friend. That's his loss bc there are many of us who appreciate what you do. Bc of your reviews, our family has tried restaurants we didn't even know existed. Keep doing you. Our family enjoys your videos.
I have a stomach condition where there are days I can't eat. Your videos help me through it. Sometimes, I even find myself getting hungry. Thank you so much! Mom and I are looking forward to enjoying more of your videos ❤️
@@mimi7434 thank you so much. That’s cool that you and your mom spend quality time together.
Thanks!
I love your channel and watching you try everything. Keep keeping on.
Thank you so much Sandy! I appreciate the support!
Barry’s famous Farm Dog breakfast scramble.
What a great name for it LoL 🎉🎉
Mmmm, biscuits and gravy sounds seriously good right now. Love your choices for the vlog. A solid 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you 😋
Hey, Barry, I appreciate the out-of-town guest reviewers who always seem to add an interesting perspective. I'm from the Kalamazoo MI area, and I'll be visiting Louisville in the June 13-15 timeframe. I know how to use production gear and have a voice with good projection and enunciation. I would absolutely love to join you on a review. I saw a mini review you did about 3 years ago at Mike Linning's. I don't know if that place is on your list to revisit, but it looks very interesting to me. Please let me know if this is something you might want to do. I'll BUY!
I have been wanting to go back there for an idea I want to try. Absolutely look forward to you joining me. Shoot me an email so we can coordinate.

This place is awesome!!! The food is so good. I am glad you checked it out! There is a place not far from there in Bloomfield that is so good! It's called Froggies. Mexican food that will knock your socks off. Look it up. You may want to try it too.
It’s already on my list. Thank for joining me.
I am glad it is on your list. I live in Bloomfield so we go there often. You will love it. I am originally from Louisville too. Lived here for a bit. We also have Ernie's Tavern. Jerry Bruckhiemer owns it. Very cool place. Lots of movie memorabilia! Check that out too when you are here. Ice cream shop is there too.
@@danestevens4858 I’ve been eyeballing Ernie’s for a while now.
Ernie's is really good. It is a really cool place to look around in also. So many cool movie props are there and other cool stuff. You will like it. The food is good and the Ice cream shoppe is excellent. Bourbon ice cream is so good. Their banana splits are really good too. You will like the food and sights here in Bloomfield.
@@danestevens4858 I’m sure I will. Thanks for the heads up!
Barry, the only thing you hate to eat is a tin foil wrapper.😂❤
lol!!!
Food 👀 is looking amazing 😮😮😍🎖️🥈🏅🥉💫✨🌟😍😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏🎯🎯
This place looks like it would definitely be worth a ride out to Taylorsville! Great review, gentleman!
Definitely!
I like Crystal Hot Sauce on everything not Tabasco; it has much more flavor in my opinion.
To each their own. If I didn’t have to as o handy I’d use Chrystal in a second.
I remember when it was on Main St across from the courthouse 30+ years ago. I've been there quite a few times because my in-laws lived west of Taylorsville on Hwy 44 3 miles from town. Both are passed as well as my wife and no one else to visit in T-ville now but I'll be back there one day. Love the review - always have been a great all these years.
Thank you!
Black Bear Diner is as close as you can get in Cali to a meal like that!
No ketchup or hot sauce on biscuits and gravy? ITS HIS BISCUITS AND GRAVY!!! He can put grape jelly on it, if he wants to, lol! 😂
lol!! Thank you!
@Goodall Country Kitchen/ I really did Wait around halfway Patiently there for the food handler Which is You (Barry) to ask Your friend Scott about tasting at least One of his fried Onion-rings ! And after it actually happened i Said to myself loudly On the inside of me "Bingo", there it Goes ! You definitely haven't disappointed me as of Yet there my far away Friend. 😀👌
I couldn’t help myself.
@@goodallscountrykitchen/ I noticed that right away as Scott had Started to describe his food Selections to the Viewer's there rose'up a Certain look that appeared in Your eyes in the Vicinity of his Crunchy fried lookin' Onion-ring's ! And i Said to myself right then that he's gonna eventually ask for at least One of them Crunchy fried Rascals. 😀 "You are the eatermite Man".

@@Sammy2Smooth well thank you very much. I was looking at them onion rings like King Kong looked at Jessica Lang!!

Great video 📹
Thank you!!
Grace needs to put your picture on the bottle and sponsor you.
That would be awesome!
Hello again Sir! We drive 30-35 minutes from fern creek/Louisville area 2-3 times a week to Lynda's Grill, I ate here frequently as a child with my mother who is no longer with us unfortunately and she loved this little diner. So this place is a tribute to me; that's Crystal & I am pulling out from Lynda's breakfast at @2:46 in the gray ford explorer. You made a excellent decision to get the best of both worlds "breakfast and lunch". For breakfast I get the same thing 2 eggs medium, country ham and biscuits, every now and then ill change it up and get bacon, egg, cheese sandwich and hashbrown. For lunch I get the Philly cheesesteaks just like your buddy Scott, cheeseburgers, or their roast beef with gravy just like you got. That Banana Walnut Cake was really good, I almost had 2 pieces that morning; it took everything in me not to get 2 slices, I'll tell you that right now... It was nice to meet you and Thanks for coming out to Taylorsville! We love Lynda, Sandra, & Gretta at Lynda's Diner in Taylorsville KY!
Thank you so much for reaching out with the kind words. It was nice meeting y’all also. Are you the couple I was chatting with and took your table when you were leaving?
We love the videos so much and especially the intros of the beautiful towns Kentucky has that my wife and I are fixing to move down there from Pennsylvania. Thanks for showing all the good establishments Kentucky has to offer!
Thank you for joining me and welcome to Kentucky! Where are yall moving to?
@@goodallscountrykitchen hopefully somewhere in the Louisville area. Do you have any recommendations? I know I’m looking forward to hitting up a lot of those mom and pops restaurants in the area for sure!
You need some slices of bacon.
Childhood staple!! Love Linda’s ❤. Love the family shout out.
My pleasure!
Sick callout to Patty Labelle. Eat that shit any way you damned well want! Looks amazing.
Thank you!!!!
My man Scott got the right hat on that's for sure
😂
let’s go niners!
I see a lot of comments about cigs inside here. That is a staple of Lynda's I saw if there's no ash on my deluxe burger I don't want it 😂 but Lynda is a pillar of our community she feeds kids who parents can't provide for them and they know they can always get a warm meal somewhere. Also it's cash only and as one of the last Americans with over $20 dollars in my wallet it's classic Americana
More context Spencer County was a rural farming community up until about 15-20 years ago. Now per capita it's the second wealthiest county in Kentucky. Lynda's has withstood the test of time.
Well stated Sir.
Hey brother busy stormy wknd here. Watched the video when you put it out just busy. Before you said the famous word ACCENUATE I already said it. Man you are training people from all over the country. He even knows Mary’s facial expression lol. Looked great buddy. You guys have a great holiday weekend!! Later Coach
Thank you. We had a great time on that one.
Im going to order me some dang Grace on Amazon
Do it!
Nice video. I am good with the hot sauce and pepper, catsup? On tbe potatoes yes but to each his own. Looks very good.
Try it!
@@goodallscountrykitchen I will pass on the ketchup on the gravy.
Two southpaws feasting!!!
Yup!
Yummy!
Yep!!
I'm gonna be up through Lexington to WV on a MC trip. Gonna hit up1 of your recommendations .
Awesome!
$2.00 in gas wont cover me driving to the end of my driveway here in California. Its $5-$6 per gallon here in San Diego....and its COLD. Ive got my central heat running half the time & its almost June! And for the "privilege" of living in San Diego.... an average house cost STARTS at 1 million dollars and you cant buy Grace hot sauce either!!!
lol!!
guest reviewer, originally from good old Del Mar…no Grace on west coast…Amazon…it’s dang good.
@@BreatherBoy absolutely!
Cool! I'm from Taylorsville & my parents still live there & eat at Lynda's almost every day! They were sitting at mama & daddy's table! But seriously he ruined the biscuit and gravy with all that hot sauce & ketchup!!!
Try it and then say that. You’ll love it!
If someone tells you biscuits and gravy is not a meal turn around and walk away you don’t need that drama
For real!!
that looked like a killer combination barry nothing wrong with hot sauce and ketchup it all looked great mate : )
Thank you!
@@goodallscountrykitchen your welcome
Your sister Joan also had a store on Main Street!
Joan was my dad’s sister. My grandmother also worked there.
Love some more history on that too. Keep em straight on it lol
When I was coming up great granny called it red eye gravy.. We only had it at Breakfast. It was delicious. Unfortunately My mom never learned how to make it...
Red eye gravy is made with coffee.
Any plans to have Sam in any more videos? He’s my fav
Of course he is.
👍👍

You should Do the “Tea Cup” in Taylorsville
I’ll look into it.
The song and dance are badass
Thank you!
the way you fix your biscuits and gravy should be a warcrime lol
That’s hilarious!
@@goodallscountrykitchen keep up the good work

Wow, I live in Redford MI that borders on Livonia
Hello my friend
Hello!
Looks like you're cheating on Grace with Tabasco..... should have done both at the same time!!!!
When it comes to breakfast tobacco can’t be beat.
It all looks delicious other than the hot sauce and ketchup. I like my pototoes kept separate with some maple syrup.
Give it a shot!
@@goodallscountrykitchen You can bet I will. I thought I saw fried fish on the menu. Is that correct?
@@kathyw7143 correct.
Y’all ever do fried chicken livers and maybe some sautéed onions?!

@@goodallscountrykitchen Thank you Sir for your attention in this matter! My Mom was a Kentucky Gal in Campbellsville, Ky . She met my Dad when he was stationed at Fort Knox during WW2. I so miss them both and still remember their stories in and around KY. I love your videos and hunger to try some of those wonderful local spots. Take care and thank you again.

Placerville is a great town. Just weird that it's in El Dorado county and not PLACER county. 😅

I'm amish
Awesome!!
My kind of eating

There’s a lot of comments in Lynda’s reviews about smoking indoors, even by the cooks. Is that still happening? Husband isn’t very well and a small enclosed Smokey space would be so disappointing.
All I can say is nobody was smoking when I was there. Give em a call and see what their policy is on smoking.
We enjoy the food but the smoking is a huge issue for us.
There is no smoking.
Yes, there sure is. If you ask for an ashtray they will give you one. Also, in your video where you are showing the counter top, the left side is an ashtray and a pack of cigarettes 😉
@@marshamudd409 I can tell you nobody smoked while I was there. Nor did I smell cigarette smoke odor. Maybe she takes the cigs and ash tray outside when she’s on break?
LOL - there isn’t always someone smoking, that’s when we stay and eat the delicious food. BUT, when people are in there smoking, like last week when we went, we go ahead and leave. My husband said Jerry must not have been there, he smokes one right after the other 😂. Anyway, they have great food at great prices but if you ask Lynda, she will confirm that she allows smoking.
Also, not that it matters, but I’m an EHS so I can’t be all bad 😜. Might even have gone to school with a Goodall & a Zega.
@@marshamudd409 you must have been at EHS in the mid-70’s? My aunt Paula Goodall was class of 77 and married Wes Zega.
That's not alot of pepper.
lol!!
Curios question why do u like Diet Coke so much? For me the after taste is horrendous I prefer Coke Zero
I don’t like Coke Zero but will drink it if it’s all I can get.
Whatever happened to family being in videos
Kids don’t like it anymore. But they’ll be on it some this summer.
I'm sorry but that sausage gravy looks like it came from the local Holiday Inn complimentary breakfast buffet
That wasn’t sausage gravy amigo. That was just a plain white gravy. I like em both
It was just milk gravy….not sausage gravy.
Animal style

It all looks good, and he doesn't play around with it !
Thank you! I ain’t got time to play either.
