I do not care what anyone says, I have watched countless rounds of boxing and there has never been anyone like Mike Tyson. I am a huge Lennox Lewis fan, but Tyson in his prime was a FORCE. Legend. PERIOD!
I love Tyson and always have. Loved watching him box as a kid, but now I love hearing him talk. He’s pretty deep and has a lot of cool insight and perspective. He’s always seemed like a genuine person. Watching him box was watching an artist work. Always liked him and rooted for him in all aspects of his life.
I am literally blessed that i witnessed alot of these fights as a kid, for us that actually got a chance to watch these growing up on tv im sure these big fights made us who we are today with our interest. Omg there will never be boxing fights like there was in the 80s and 90s best years of boxing if you wanted raw fights where they went all the way those were the times you actually got every single of your moneys worth. Boxing now is so much more softer you never see noone get ko'd cold anymore like i always say the best times ended at 1999
Man growing up in high school in the 80’s and 90’s, having Tyson to watch on weekends and talk about at school is a cherished memory for me. That man gave me so much to get excited about and the electricity back then was palpable. My dad is a great fan of boxing who saw Ali at his best and Tyson at his. He says Ali wouldn’t survive. Tyson is GOAT. Definitely not Ali. I wish i could explain to this younger generation how Tyson mauled contenders in seconds pay per view after pay per view. You cannot stop a singular minded unstoppable force like Tyson in these years. It will go through you, and you’ll have second thoughts about being a pro boxer in the hospital. Thanks To Mike For Being the Greatest Fighter in the World when I was a young man in my prime. I’m so lucky to have that. Nothing will come close in MMA or Boxing for decades, possibly centuries. A one in a billion warrior at his greatest? It’s a rarity that I have in my heart and some people have no idea what it is. Maybe the Roman game’s gladiators had some warriors like Tyson. But my money on Mike in his prime. Unstoppable Force.
you could see he didnt even held his armas up like most fighters, he was short and his instance was a closed casket, embrancing himself and dancing his bobling head from left to right 3 steps foward and youre on the ropes 10 seconds later you wake up on the floor.

In some of Mike's fight's I've began to feel bit sorry for some of the guy's in the ring with him. In this brutal leathering his opponent took so many body shots to make him drop his arms from protecting his head. Those body shots must smash ribs & be painful for several months after a fight. Mike was also firing head shots from so many different angles it was a brilliant display by Mike. He used his superb defence too, keeping away grom any lucky shots from his opponent. Another master class from Mike. Genius, Champ!!!

Frank had him hurt at one point. Unfortunately, just didn't have the where withal to finish him off
Golata saved his own life.
When I was younger I never knew Tyson was considered “Undersized”..The fact he was knocking ppl out that were literally towering over him and much bigger than he was made me a bigger fan now that I’m older.
They weren't all
great heavyweights
Same height as Smoking Joe
It's crazy to c just how much taller alot of them are on this video. 😅😅😅😅I thought wow Tyson is crazy short next to these guys 😅😅😅😅
I’m thinking He had an advantage being short.
Same!
No matter what , no matter how many greats were there or still there..... doesn't make any difference.
The impression of iron mike will never ever move anywhere
He's still loved by millions n millions in the world.
Despite his jails courts controversy ear biting....etc etc
He's still a legend n remain so for decades n will always be loved by everyone.
Golata had a concussion, fractured left cheek bone, and herniated disc in his neck.. his coaches could have got him killed, trying to push him not to quit.
Dude couldn't speak a straight sentence and realized it. He absolutely did the right thing here.
It may have been an unlucky hit even. But personally I wouldn't want to find out how any punch from Tyson feels like
Truly pieces of garbage; not men.
EXACTLY
His coach only focuses on money, like a hitman murderer
His hemorrhoids were hurting
I do not care what anyone says, I have watched countless rounds of boxing and there has never been anyone like Mike Tyson. I am a huge Lennox Lewis fan, but Tyson in his prime was a FORCE. Legend. PERIOD!
Respect to Golata for doing what was right for him
Exactly, his corner had legends but I’m sure they lost a lot of respect for that.
Mike is the goat inboxing
Iron Mike realigned him properly
@@jaefrmbk2k I still remember the press conference, where Mike said... this is serious, this is very serious 😳

This man changed boxing. A total legend. 👊
Boxing now is so much more softer you never see noone get ko'd cold anymore like i always say the best times ended at 1999
Baddest man on the planet in his day.
Unless you got a piece
Still is
Man growing up in high school in the 80’s and 90’s, having Tyson to watch on weekends and talk about at school is a cherished memory for me.
Mike was the bulldog of boxing. My favorite boxer ever. I did beat him though...took me 15 dollars in quarters on Punch Out lol.
you could see he didnt even held his armas up like most fighters, he was short and his instance was a closed casket, embrancing himself and dancing his bobling head from left to right 3 steps foward and youre on the ropes 10 seconds later you wake up on the floor.
😂😂
Hahaha, good one!
@Helldurian1972 Wurrd! Remembering the days on the first Nintendo playing Mike Tyson's punch out I'd have no problem getting to Tyson, and every time I did the game would crash 😭 🤣 kids today will never understand the struggle with gaming
😂😂😂😂
I watched every fight with my brother and dad. Both who were boxers. Over the years i have come to respect Mike out of the ring also. Gl Mike! Thanks for all the memories!!
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth! - Mike Tyson
Face
The man was a real treat to watch back in the day.
I wouldn’t fight Tyson if he was 80
You're a wise man
I hear that he was born to fight 😂
VERY SMART choice.... He might eat your Children after knocking you out!
I, personally, wouldn't fight an 80 year old Tyson even if he had both Arms amputated!
Lol good luck with that
I said his name yesterday and fell down!!
Tyson is a young boxer. Each time a boxer is beaten down, their boxing age goes up.
Everyone talked trash, but when they get in the ring with Mike Tyson, you can see in their eyes that they are nervous and scared 😂😂. You are brave enough to get in the ring with Mike Tyson. I would die right there 😂😂😂❤
In some of Mike's fight's I've began to feel bit sorry for some of the guy's in the ring with him. Another
master class from Mike. Genius, Champ!!!
Agreed 💯 🥊
Thanks for putting this together. As a kid I just played Punch Out but my folks never watched sports. Seeing all the calculating rage and power in action in a compilation=💯
This centuries he's the only one n no one comes close to him.
His upbringing and from where he rose to reach the sky
He's one of a kind.
Daaamn good n remain to be the best .
Mike is one of a kind. Shame he lost all his fortune. But nothing can take away his legendary status.
he is a bitch.... wrestle him and he will be your bitch......
I've seen so many comments like this. He lost a lot over the years but has done a lot to build back. He's still a millionaire now.
If they'd make all.of Mike's fights ,a Winner Take All contest..none of the big mouth talk would have happened..In his prime..no one ,NO ONE !! Hit as hard as Iron Mike..PERIOD!!
Prime Mike was a f'n beast!

@@DougieLainhartMe either, and I’m 68. Last fight was 13 years ago. My very first one punch KO. My fight before that, The dude swung on me three times, blocked all of them, got my bearing and threw a left hook that missed followed with a right, fight over. Broke the guys nose! He quit. I am 5’ 10, like Mike, 245 and have good power and good discipline and distance. Italian / Honduran and have nothing to lose. Any body- anytime.
No matter how old, that type of fight never leaves you. Ain't no way Jake can beat this man. If he does, then we know it's rigged.
Yeah I agree. If you watch Jake’s fights. They seem like drunk amateurs just throwing punches hoping for one punch to land.
Tyson’s fights are real boxing fights with skill and technique.
I don’t think Jake will last more than six rounds.

@@orangefacedbuddah1776 Tyson was washed up by that time in his career, you can see the obvious diffence from how he use to fight and in that fight. A prime Tyson was a whole different boxer. Drugs and the Don King lifestyle did a toll on what former Tyson was all about. Anyone who knows boxing and how Mike was could clearly see a different person in the ring on his last years. Prime Tyson would have finished him within 3rds. Holyfield was the better boxer in those years probably on PEDS and enhancers, his genetics was not that of what stood in the ring, it was obvious in comparison to what holyfield was most of his boxing career. The body structure just wasn't in his genetics🤷♂
Gollatta was literally like “nah screw this I’m out”💀💀💀💀
Can you blame him
@@thelords3394 Not at all, concussions are extremely serious, many boxers have died days or weeks after a fight because of them. I do feel very bad for him his corner behaved in a disgusting manner, they were being payed to have his back. If the coach had just taken his pocket light and checked his vision he would have seen Gollatta was out of the fight at the end of round one. He should have been able to tell from his speech alone.

Mike right hook and left hook were equally the same brain scramble egg effect. Never seen a fighter who could knock you out with both his weak hand or the strong hand. The pain was the same, and utterly insane!

I agree with you about the decision...
Tyson has the power and determination of a bull!
I remember watching Tyson fights on HBO Boxing. This kid (at the time) was something the world was not ready for, nor his opponents. He turned out to be an amazing human being. Mike hit the due so hard he couldn't even talk straight after talking all that smack. C'mon.
You can tell Gollata’s brain wasn’t right after the concussion he suffered from Mike’s blows to his head. He couldn’t talk right and kept stuttering.

When Mike Tyson came into the scene of boxing. I have never seen anyone better. He hardly ever got pass the first round. That is so impressive. I Love watching videos of his boxing.
Mike and bruno always respected and liked each other. In Andrew's defense he did end up being really hurt.
I always loved the, “What the hell have I done?” look they have after his first punch lol
What was the most impressive is he’s small not even 6ft. And he was dropping bombs on guys that were 6’2” plus.
That was Mike Tyson way get in and get the job done. He even said am clowning around people say come to watch the fighter it was all over in the First round thay only hear the bell ring to start round one. Thay never heard the bell ring at the end of the first round thay were knock out mate

My generation had Tyson, the Dallas cowboys and raves. Being a teen in the 90s was fire.
Bruno was never a "bully", nor was he disrespectful - he just played the PR game, but was NEVER going to get near Tyson.
There were certainly opponents who got cocky with Tyson and got what they deserved.
Bruno was a decent guy, who just happened to be totally outclassed by Tyson twice.
He was never known for having a big mouth.
Tyson was also much more intelligent than bruno
Tsyson, never before and never again. The best, always.

IRON MIKE'S made believers out all of them !!
Mike knocked the speech outta that boy 😂😂
Tyson absolutely wanted to punish Biggs! Never mind the insults prior to the 1984 Olympics; During the press conference for their championship fight, Biggs made a comment tantamount to "Tyson's mother not raising him right!" Tyson stared at him like a hungry wolf eyeing a T-bone steak. Even Biggs's trainer was trying to get him to be quiet, and not anger Tyson!
Mike's trainer, Kevin Rooney, yelled at Tyson and told him to put Biggs away and stop propping him up; to which Tyson said, (paraphrasing) "Give me one more round to beat on him, and I'll do anything you say!"
