- Hiking from the highest point in Costa Rica to the Pacific Coast. Cerro Vueltas Lodge is a true inspiration and example of sustainable off-grid living. Protecting this enchanted forest at nearly 10,000 feet above sea level (Cerro de la Muerte) for almost 50 years... Now they want to share their knowledge with the world. There is so much to learn: sustainable farming & construction, ecology, plant medicine, trail engineering, cheese making, bread making, preserving food... the list goes on. They operate as a restaurant, eco lodge, and educational organic farm with lots of trails to explore.
The best cloud forest to hike, only 1.5 hours outside of San Jose... But don't forget to bring a jacket!!

That's what all good fresh milk looks like.. Its just from the fat content and the lack of homogenization.
@@dereksimmons5877 I did not know that! Thanx for that fun fact Derek! Even so it just doesn't look appetizing to me but then again milkhas always turned my stomach! I've NEVER liked it. As a kid growing up in Ireland they used to make us drink it in primary school and I'd cry and gag every time! I tend to go for plant based milks!
