@ExploringWithJosh This is truly the most DANGEROUS exploring adventure I’ve ever see you make (BY FAR)! We could obviously see why it was impossible for you to use lights to record outside at night. I honestly don’t want to think about what would have happened to you if you had been caught by their security. The government there doesn’t mess around & has even forced people to confess to spying even if they were doing no such thing. They can lock people up & keep you for decades if they decide it serves a purpose politically to them to do so? 🤔 The truth means nothing to communist regimes that force citizens to undergo brain washing! They don’t allow some citizens to practice a religious belief or ethnic tradition because it conflicts with the government’s propaganda & mandates. The Uyghurs (pronounced Weegers) are a Muslim ethnic group which number more than 12 million in China’s billion person nation. The government runs large camps to retrain these groups and assimilate them into Chinese society & its only allowable traditions and lifestyles or ethnic practices. The point is that it’s no joke that the Chines government can do whatever it wants to those in the country. I’m so thankful you and your guide are safe. This truly was the exploring adventure of a lifetime. You were incredibly brave to have done it (or perhaps foolish, or maybe both)?! 🤔😳🤷♂️🙏🏻😇🙌 I feel as though we are incredibly lucky to have your video to watch. I don’t think it’s safe to really attempt this again, but I’m so glad we have your adventure that you share with us all. I used to laugh when people said urban and/or rural exploring was not really a dangerous thing, however, you’ve shown that to be quite untrue now Josh! With this video you have firmly cemented your place at the top of the list of global exploring as the G.O.A.T. 👑🎯🔥🤘🙌
THE ACCURATE TRANSLATION OF THE LETTER 48:14 : "Dear Yu: Your letter somewhat messed me up. I understand how you feel deeply, but I still want to say sorry that I can not accept your love. We don't actually understand each other, so I can't accept. I'm not as good as you think, so you don't have to be sad cuz there are so many better girls in the world than me, besides, you are going to intern soon, the female colleagues in the company should be more suitable for you. You said in your letter that I can make a decision after I graduate, how could we know where I will be assigned to work after graduation? It is fine if I am assigned to Changping district, but what if I am assigned to Fangshan district? Neither of our parents would approve of us being together that far apart (at least mine would never approve). I never thought this confession of your love would happen, and it bothers me a lot, cuz I've always thought that being in a relationship, while sometimes very happy, is more often making people sensitive and emotional, I rather be 'single but happy', don't you agree? Ok, let's stop here. And I'm not a dramatic girl, and this incident between us will not bother me, we will remain ordinary friends , I will never ignore you."
The Dragon King, also known as Long Wang or Longwang, is a powerful god in Chinese mythology who is the lord of the waters and god of dragons. He lives in a luxurious palace beneath the seas, where he consumes gems and commands an army of aquatic creatures. He can also transform between dragon and human form
Thank you for the info. I recall as a child getting a gift from my parents friend from China and it was a sort of doll that would change the human face to a Dragon and I recall them telling some sort of cultural fairytale, but I only recall bits and pieces. 🫶🏼 Cheers my dude!
And every year it gets even worse! 🎉🎉🎉 Hooray. I love when we get clickbated like this video into thinking he's exploring Underwater and it's just an island. Super cool.
@@zyourzgrandzmaz Even if you thought that, he tells you what they're doing and literally describes it as being like going into a basement in a lake house within the first 3 minutes
Idk if anyone has mentioned this yet, but at 19:50, "Dragon" mentions "Qilin". You heard chili and looked at the mural with the temple drawn on it. The creature right below it (as well as the horns in the waves surrounding it possibly) is called a Qilin, which is a Chinese mythological creature that was a creature of complete purity that would appear when a great leader or sage has been born or recently died. They're creatures so in tune with earth, that they walk inches above the ground so as to not even disturb the grass.
Dragon is so cool we appreciate him! He's so kind and nice. At the end even though he can't understand what they are saying he's smiling and nodding it's so cute
HOLY COW! The courage you guys have to do that is amazing. I was holding my breath the whole time Josh was following that ride because I figured there would be a flooded area in there somewhere. I am glad you all made it out without getting caught! GUYS BE CDAREFUL!!
Not a single dull moment in the whole China series! It’s clear how much you enjoyed this exploration and I loved that it was just as unique for you as it was for us. Thank you for always giving us 100%; to get a video out every Sunday is incredible. We appreciate you.

Hey Josh. I just want to really thankyou for living off my dream for me. I was never able to be an urban explorer like I wanted to. I might some day but for now I really appreciate you and your videos so much.
This is amazing and I appreciate you so much for going through all this to bring us this video. I've always been a fan of abandoned theme parks and rides, but nothing feels more special to me than this does. I'm obsessed. I think the craziest part for me is the fact that most rides that have sat dormant for over ten years, they've had nature and sometimes vandalism take over and the ride is in decay. This one looks virtually untouched, it looks like if they just cleaned it up a little that they could have it operating again within a year or even less. It's just so rare to see them like this and it really makes me wish there was more than the one video from when it was operational. But I'm still so glad you showcased as much of it as possible, it's so intriguing. And the photos especially, I loooove seeing old photos in urbex, they're such time capsules :)
My heart was racing watching this, I really thought you were going to get caught at some point! Got to be one of the best videos , even my children wanted to watch this one with me😊 it’s still crazy to think you were underwater , makes it very eery! Been watching your videos for years now and still you never fail to entertain with your videos and finds , keep going 😊
This has been one of the best exploring videos I have watched in a while. It was thrilling watching it and Dragon was such an amazing person he was just so excited to show you guys around.
We've loved you from day 1, Josh! Whether exploring abandoned places, in the states, other countries, meet and greet in Portland Oregon, adventuring into your paranormal AND geocaching/nautilus experiences, back full circle. I have to say I love all of your adventures. But overseas in Japan and China have been my favorites. Hoping to go to many places in South Korea one day.....maybe you'll be living it up at the same time there 😅. RISE UP, EVERYONE! Thanks, Josh for exploring the world 💙🤘🏼
Thank you for showing us around Josh! 😂 Funny that my nickname is Dragon! Hats off to Dragon for the tour and showing us the best spots! This place is awesome! 😮
I love that you're back doing the abandoned places. I think I'm over the infinity paranormal investigators going to same haunts. I'm leaning more towards the realistic investigators who go to people's homes to investigate and exorcise the demons or crossover the ghost spirits.
I give you major props for this exploration, Josh. I'm usually here for your ghost content- but became curious seeing this video. I was completely intrigued the entire time. Thank you!
To spoil the magic a little, they didn't build it under water. The lake is either manmade or they blocked the source and emptied it before beginning construction.
I imagine it was made how bridge supports are done in the sea, they build caissons in the water around the area then drain it completely dry so that they have somewhere to build, it would be an unnecessary amount of effort to drain the whole area
❤❤ I am watching now. This is so exciting. I am getting a sense of an adrenaline rush just watching yall do this. Its so amazing. Happy Easter BTW to anyone who celebrates ❤❤
The colours of the dragons indicate what element they are of. Red is fire. Silver is metal, sometimes specified as iron. Blue/purple is water. Green is Earth. Brown is wood.
Hey Josh! Just wanted to say, wow man. I am an old viewer from, easily 5-6 years ago, haven’t checked back in a long time, but I’m so proud of you! You’ve accomplished so much! Such an amazing shift in content! ❤️
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! This was epic, Josh. I remember a time when you probably would have turned around or just not have gone to one this risky. I don't like video games, but you artistically adding that in with the video was also Epic
I have been watching your videos since I was 14 years old i'm 22 now, your exploration videos are so calming, its like we're there with you exploring along side you, you are one of comfort channels. love your videos
I wish us viewers could thank “Dragon” for aiding you in getting to the ride as well as showing you around inside. Unfortunately I don’t speak any Chinese, nor will I be making a BilliBilli for that reason. But.. Major shoutout to him for everything! 🙏🏻
Haven’t even finished the episode yet but immediately had to come on here and say that the editing on this video is phenomenal, Josh. You just keep getting better!!!
Claustrophobic....also. .makes me wonder how much work would have been required to upkeep such a place ...I think that it would have been " Very Costly" beyond it surviving very long anyhow.

Definitely SHOULD HAVE 100 awards by now from someone somewhere!!!! Josh YOU ARE THE OG!!!!!! OG!!!!! You are officially a trendsetter a trailblazer!!!!!! We love you!!!!!!
What a totally crazy place, kinda shocked something like this exists. It is pure nightmare fuel to think all this is underwater and just sitting in darkness. Imagine waking up in there alone and all you had was your phone flashlight. Love your videos Josh, but sometimes I wish you would take a second to put together a more coherent sentence.
Yes you can get very sick of ammonia (a dangerous gas) exposure I always say though josh words things terribly and doesn’t always know the actual facts to things he just assumes… But in this case I definitely think he meant pneumonia
I promise im your biggest fan!!! Been watching from the beginning had a different youtube, got into some trouble but bounced back and now im showing my wife your videos.. thanks josh but i got to go.. time to binge on some more of your videos. God bless you bro thanks for being a part of my life 💯
You dont see too many abandon dark ride videos, this was truly mindblowing. Thank you for this masterpiece! This is one of the coolest amusement parks ever! Amazing architecture, sad to see it abandoned!
This is the scariest non ghost hunting video from Exploring with Josh... The animatronic is scarier than a ghost to me... I would be on edge and hope they don't suddenly move

You know where my graduation stone will be assigned. If I am assigned to Fuping, that’s fine. , what if I go back to Fangshan? Then my family won’t agree to it (at least my family won’t agree to it). I have never thought of such a thing, and I am particularly bothered by it, because I always I think that although making friends sometimes makes me happy, most of the time I still feel worried and uncomfortable. It’s better to be alone and have fun when it’s time to have fun and be free and easy. Don't you think so? Okay, let me stop here. I'm not the kind of girl who cares about you. I won't be angry about this, and I won't ignore you from now on.

Josh I’m Loving your China explorations but they just keep getting more amazing. Thank you and all your guides and everyone with you. Y’all stay safe please! Much Love all of y’all 🙏🫶🤙🤪🤟👍✌️😂🤗
Hey Josh. I just want to really thankyou for living off my dream for me. I was never able to be an urban explorer like I wanted to. I might some day but for now I really appreciate you and your videos so much.
Thanks!
Right? God, I'm fucking obsessed with this thing.
Dragon's channel in Bilibili is quite famous, and you can literally hear his speech and voice right there
@35:43, That's 虾兵蟹将 (Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals). Shrimp at left and Crab at right guarding of the entrance of the Dragon Palace.
I can see the amount of effort put into this video and I’m only a minute in. Thanks for the content josh!
Josh always rising above to the next challenge!the whole china series was crazy amazing!
Jesus man now this is dedication!! Love ya josh thanks for all you do bro
The abandoned places in China are just on another level. Awesome content!
This was an amazing exploration site. Glad you got to take us along for the ride !
Your videos should get millions of views. By the way, I love all of your videos very much
I love that you’re exploring more again I’ve been watching since 2018 your videos have always been my go to especially when I was having a bad day🫶🏻
This was a great exploration at a truly amazing place! Thanks so much for risking all to film this place Josh! Truly an urbex gem there!
I love that you're back doing the abandoned places.
I think I'm over the infinity paranormal investigators going to same haunts.
I'm leaning more towards the realistic investigators who go to people's homes to investigate and exorcise the demons or crossover the ghost spirits.
The 'missing' part in the bottom was like a water fountain, water sprayed out of a sphere on top of a pole
I've never seen this Chanel. This is perfectly down my alley of entertainment. I love it. Keep this stuff up my man
Glad you enjoy it!
How do you know?
I imagine it was made how bridge supports are done in the sea, they build caissons in the water around the area then drain it completely dry so that they have somewhere to build, it would be an unnecessary amount of effort to drain the whole area
It's a reservoir
It's a man-made lake
did op not watch the video? clearly they are fish people that can build underwater.
One of the coolest, creepiest and claustrophobic urban explorations ever put on youtube!!! Thank you!
I love the game starting options, with the now loading screen great touch!
Agreed!
Yeah it so cool man I mean the game option it's like another level.
Thanks
Ahhh the part with the 'item selected' gave me chills, such a nicee touch!! Loving this 😎
Thank you for not breaking anything/vandalising anything, and being respectful! Nice vid
Also the effort you put into this is insaneeeee!! This series has been so so good! I loved every second of it ❤
Hey Josh! Just wanted to say, wow man. I am an old viewer from, easily 5-6 years ago, haven’t checked back in a long time, but I’m so proud of you! You’ve accomplished so much! Such an amazing shift in content! ❤️
Dude, I've been subscribed to this channel roughly since 2019 and I love all the content you do. This location is fascinating!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! This was epic, Josh. I remember a time when you probably would have turned around or just not have gone to one this risky. I don't like video games, but you artistically adding that in with the video was also Epic
This is once in a lifetime experience I would never go there to do this so thank you for filming this wow it’s insane looking!
This was freaking insane to watch ! So glad you did this . How Awseome !
DRAGON Appreciation button ⬇️
That guy was amazing!!
Hi
He did not like the nick name 😂
Clout chaser appreciation button ⬇️
@@ayojoe86kind of odd to make an appreciation button for yourself....Im pretty sure appreciation is made to you by others not by your own self🤔🤔
Haven’t even finished the episode yet but immediately had to come on here and say that the editing on this video is phenomenal, Josh. You just keep getting better!!!
this was an insane adventure Josh..i loved watching this. So fascinating..thanks for risking it for us :)
Wild explore Josh! I've been very excited to see this exploration! 🔥🔥
This was literally One of the best Videos i have ever Seen. Thank you so much!
This place is fascinating. But it's a scary place at the same time...
Claustrophobic....also. .makes me wonder how much work would have been required to upkeep such a place ...I think that it would have been " Very Costly" beyond it surviving very long anyhow.
OMGOODNESS. This is AMAZING. I can’t believe you got in. Thanks for sharing. I bet this is one of a kind. JOSH YOU ARE FABULOUS 🎉❤
Full translation for 48:00
Your letter made me feel quite perplexed inside. I really understand your feelings, but I still have to say that I'm sorry, I can't.
Simply because you don't know me very well and I don't know you well either and therefore, I can't. In fact, I'm not as good as you might've imagined. So, you don't need to feel sad. There're lots of nice girls in this world. Especially because you should be working as an intern right now, and there should be better matches for you among your colleges. You said that you'll wait until I graduage. But did you think about where I wpi;d be assigned to work after graduation? It would be okay if I would be working at Changping (a remote district in Beijing), but what if I'm going back to Fangshan (another district on the other side of Beijing)? That would be too far, both our families wouldn't agree about our relationship, at least my family wouldn't agree. I never really think about things like this, therefore, I felt quite uneasy thinking about this. But I always think although making friends is sometimes fun, but most of the time, we're just missing each other and it doesn't feel good. Wouldn't it be better to just be by oneself and go have some fun whenever you feel like it?
Alright, that's all I'm going to say for now. I'm not that kind of girl that cares about little things, and therefore, I won't be angry at you about this. I also won't stop talking to you because of this. Please ... (cuts off here)
Ah thank you! I was looking for a translation in the comments!
Basically they slept and the girl is telling you it was just for fun and don’t get serious about it!! That’s so cool crazy find from a place like this!!
love the efforts you guys go through to keep us entertained Thank You Josh & Gang!
this is my fav video of yours to date josh.....absolutely incredible. and the chinese guy dragon....what an absolute legend
This was an insane explore Josh, dangerous and crazy. Loving your series in china keep up the great work 🤘🏼❤️🔥❤️🔥

Great video !! Definitely something I'd watch again ! Was incredible!❤❤❤🎉
I'm late but this is my favorite exploring I've watched in general, ever. So so cool. Glad you were able to do this safely!!
The silent hill menu is a super unique touch
Thank you!!!
rightttt i love silent hill i was like omggg
Was great!!
China's horror house theme park, the monstrous dragons and the 2-face "humans" are creepy af
Fr I love it!
That purple "high" dragon.... I have found my spirit animal..lol~!
Spectacular video, Josh. =-)
They risked dying of "AMMONIA"???? UGH. I CAN'T.😂🤣😂🤣
And Bob wire 😂
....yeah. The eyeroll is strong here.
Yes you can get very sick of ammonia (a dangerous gas) exposure
I always say though josh words things terribly and doesn’t always know the actual facts to things he just assumes…
But in this case I definitely think he meant pneumonia
Bob wire really gets me😂
I promise im your biggest fan!!! Been watching from the beginning had a different youtube, got into some trouble but bounced back and now im showing my wife your videos.. thanks josh but i got to go.. time to binge on some more of your videos. God bless you bro thanks for being a part of my life 💯
I am seriously loving these China series videos.
You dont see too many abandon dark ride videos, this was truly mindblowing. Thank you for this masterpiece! This is one of the coolest amusement parks ever! Amazing architecture, sad to see it abandoned!
I totally agree!
This is the scariest non ghost hunting video from Exploring with Josh... The animatronic is scarier than a ghost to me... I would be on edge and hope they don't suddenly move
👍👍👍👍👍👍 Josh, Steve & Chinese guy are super awesome! This video is so precious
What can i say josh you have done it again this awesome THANK YOU XX
Been watching your videos since 2014/2015 and this is one of the coolest places I’ve seen on your channel! Definitely top 10

8:54 Josh...... it's pneu·mo·nia lmao not ammonia 😂 ABSOLUTE LEGENDS for this one tho! 2 L's = W 😂😊
I thought I heard him say Ammonia 😂😂😂
Edit to say this definitely goes into your top 5 of best exploration video Josh!
I love your work Josh! Old and new! Stay safe!👍🤘😝
Bro wore an 800 dollar jacket urban exploring lol. Wild.
LETTER TRANSLATION: I 48:50 fully understand the mood, but I still want to say sorry, but I can't. Because you don’t understand me and I don’t understand even more
You, so I can't agree. In fact, I'm not as good as you think, so you don't have to be sad. There are a lot of good girls in the world, and besides, the colleagues in the unit where you are currently interning should be more suitable. You said we would wait until after I graduate.
Ty
