Yeah as a former Drake Stan, I also cannot even listen to him anymore without just having feelings of “yuck” for all the reasons stated in this video.
I do not think it is solely because of Kendrick that this is happening - as this video is evidence of, Drake has been facing backlash for a hot minute. His last few albums have been critically panned and even the fans are disappointed (including myself). Kendrick just took advantage of the situation really, just like 50 Cent took advantage of the situation surrounding Ja Rule.

I have a hot take for you … and please know this is based purely on my own intuition .. Drake has an issue with women, but especially black women because of his mom. And I bet mommy Drake is a hater because she feels like she lost drakes dad and if rumours are true possibly a singing career? Because of young, beautiful black women .. feel what I’m saying?
I stopped liking him after the whole Megan thee Stallion situation and the way that not only did he side with the person in question he made a song about it totally dissing her even tho she had been assaulted. And now that they are done settling it in court and the man who shot her was found guilty he still hasn’t spoken on it. He definitely wasn’t the only one who acted this way towards her during those times. I remember during the time wondering why a woman was getting so much hate when she said something had happened to her and it’s because as a society we fail Black women over and over.
