They do the same with some differences: Xilonen can heal, shred Geo, and buff Geo by scroll set, while Kazuha can group and deal more personal damage. All in all, go for it, a second Kazuha is once in a blue moon than Cryo 5-stars nowadays.
Xilonen has another slight (but imo, non-negligible) upside to Kazuha: Kazuha's buffs and VV's debuffs both depend on Kazuha swirling the right element(s). For Xilonen, only the scroll buff depends on crystallizing the right element. Since her own debuff only needs her to NA, she will ALWAYS grant the res shred. This becomes especially noticeable against enemies with a permanent elemental aura. They are pretty rare, but when they DO appear, they are kinda a pain (Hydro Tulpa, the Phantasm Local Legends, the Fatui Local Legends with their elemental shields etc) to use Kazuha against.

we haven't had a cryo 5* since Wrissley. We've had more kuzuha reruns recently than 5* cryo reruns (not counting the special events where many 5*s are available)
Right and xilonen also has a 15 uptime and multiwave shread . Which makes a very very noticeable difference in mobbing content in my experience So I see it like this. Xilonen is absolutely an upgrade to kazuha in Single target, and sidegrade to aoe The only content where she feels remarkable worse than kazuha is essentially Venti content with spread out hoards of low hp enemies
The longer buff more than overshadows the extra personal dmg. Also Geo dmg buff. And her damn sword even buffs dendro. Kazuha can use the sword too but not as well as her. Grouping and swirling to spread elements is his biggest advantage. He does have a major disadvantage by being hard countered by enemies with their own aura. Xilonen will still buff some based on your team's element.
For xilonen on navia. I think it's not a huge buff to navia, but it is for furina. With xilonen heal, you can have more fanfare, your furina passive proc, and you gain just more overall dmg on your pets. The team is more comfy, the rotation are smother. Yes, the navia gain is not that big, but the furina gain is insane !
@@ronin7531 yeah, but you loose defensive utility, or off field dmg. In the grand scheem of things, it negate. I saw the same increase. I'm a c0r0 player, but manage to hit 500k on this abysses. But, furina damage just skyrocket in this team with xilonnen. You buff more furina than you buff navia, that was my core argument !
One thing that I think is important that I haven't really seen mentioned that much so far is that she also makes furina teams that want a double shred far less cringe, or teams which want a carry that can't apply element before they start on-fielding. In my specific case it helps with my kleerina team, but I feel like it could also be useful for something like Hu Tao double hydro.

Longer buff, easier setup, no grouping, but heals. Definitely close in power level, but because I think Xilonen is a bit more flexible, I'd say Xilonen is slightly better. Since you can use both on the same team, it becomes kind of a moot* point.

@@banjoowo4001 The crystalize is just for the Scroll of Hero buff. For the RES Shred, you don't need to trigger any reaction at all. If you want to RES Shred Pyro in a HuTao team with Xilonen it's trivial. Kazuha would *need* a source of Pyro application so he can swirl.
The abyss meta from here on out will clearly be a spinning wheel deciding the enemy HP buff multiplier that an employee spins monthly just to mess with us. Edit: or better yet, they do gacha pulls for HP% buffs to decide.
You are making a lot of emphasis in how she doesn't have grouping in the comparison with kazuha(grouping is not that needed anymore with the tanky big bosses that we get in abyss these days), but 0 emphasis in her synergy with furina, even tho it was mentioned for a second that is a big plus!!! Even tho she doesn't fulfill all the healing requirements that furina has she at least makes her work without having another healer in the team Allowing you to make hypercarry comps for almost any main dps in the game raiden, noelle, arle and the list goes on and on All of them work with one of the combinations of xilonen furina , kazuha - xilonen furina yelan - xilonen furina benny
In regards to Xilonen's healing, it's likely because there are so many viable healers which makes her healing not stick out as much. As for Kazuha's grouping, some content might not need it right now but at the same time you dont wanna get caught not having it. Right now Kazuha is the most bang for your buck crowd control unit with arguably more use cases than Xilonen in general.
No one can predict future abyss, if you don't have grouping in an abyss with tanky multiwave multi enemy abyss, you really can't do well. While if you can group in an abyss with groupable enemies, you will have the easiest time of your life

Yeah I play Navia a lot and I think the closest argument would be that she's not a large upgrade over Chiori if you're playing Navia without Furina. But that's a pretty narrow slice of people.
Her 40% damage bonus buff from Cinder set is somewhat equal to the 30-45% from the 2-3 bullets that Navia misses out on. Her 36% shred is comparable to the personal damage of Albedo and Chiori depend on the level of investment into Navia. With Xilonen in the team, it's easier to overkill some enemies and harder to finish them off sometimes. So yeah, slight upgrade for some people, slight downgrage for the others.
Can you share where you are getting those numbers from since they are so specific? they seem very similar to ones that I have seen that are incredible optimistic about 1 doll Chioris dmg, also idk why you are even mentioning Albedo since he does less dmg than 1 doll Chiori
In teams when you use Bennett Xilonen is barely an upgrade over my Albedo (he has Spindle though). However, when you have good 5* claymore for Navia that makes her less Bennett dependant (I use Beacon on mine) then Navia - Xilonen - Furina - Yelan is a very notiveable upgrade over double pyro teams just because Xilonen buffs Furina and Yelan a lot plus these two benefit quite a lot from being played together. But that team is also less frontloaded than usual Navia teams which makes it less popular for proper speedruns.
I found Xilonen to be much more comfortable in Arlecchino teams rather than in Neuvillette teams and this is because Xilonen's range for resistance shred is decent but not that big so that you can always stay on a safe distance from your target with Neuvillette. In Arlecchino teams tho you are going to stay very close to the enemies and so you are guaranteed you won't lose her resistance shred. In addition, I found needing Xilonen's healing much much less in Arlecchino teams than in Nuvillette teams where you want to burst every rotation instead because of Furina. That said, my Neuvillette CA does 60k per thick with Xilonen, Furina and Kazuha and that is another level of satisfaction.
I play Xilonen in my Arlecchino team. Arlecchino, Yelan, Xilonen, Bennett. I LOVE this team. The long buff uptime means I do get to swap back onto her and double crystalize. And it isn’t an issue. Also with Fav Sword, her energy requirements are essentially 0 on my team. So I use her burst for crystalizing Yelan’s hydro. And I have to say, not needing to vv swirl on new enemies, combined with the super long buff uptime, means my rotations are more comfortable and efficient than ever. And the CC isn’t really an issue bc I tend to bring this team to boss-oriented chambers.
Nobody ever mentions Mualani with Albedo, his em buff is very nice. Can get 2 shark bites off and burst for full buff uptime. Honestly my preferred double geo instead of Zhongli.
Shes comfier for sure when it comes to applying buff and forgetting about it for whole rotation. For kazuha I need to come back to him time to time to refresh buff. But for teams which can use grouping or kazuha infusion he's still good.
Ive had Kazuha for a long while, (I benched him a few months after I got him and only started building him while I built Mualani and used him in abyss) but I prefer Xilonen way better since she doesn't have any if the small nitpicks I had about Kazuha (AKA longer shred time) And Xilonen is better in exploration depending how you look at it
I think an angle that you don't mention often in your comparisons is pulling. For example you make good arguments for Kazuha and Xilonen, but I'd simply add a priority on if someone doesn't have Kazuha. After all upgrades or downgrades only matter if you own the original product. Just my 2 cents.
For sure. I skipped Kazuha and Furina. Xilonen is my only significant dmg% buffer and my best shredder, a massive account upgrade. (Especially because I pulled c4)

glad to see Navia/Furina/Xilonen/Yelan mentioned, it's not her strongest team but it's very smooth and reliable. Also works pretty well with Mona if you don't want to use Yelan
I think the abyss multiplier actually have a pretty simple explanation, everytime a new character is released the current abyss is made in a way that the new character have some advantage in it to make them seem more usefull. Xilonen's core feature revolves around resintance shred so they made the enemies more tanky in order for the players who use her feel like they have the uper hand and those who don't feel like they need her. To summarize, it's just a marketing strategy.
I have C0R1 Xilonen. I think at the end of the day I just love how I don't have to really dance around various element stacking memes to get essentially the same Kazuha buff I've been getting for ages. And she heals.
Healing is just nice and better to have in all types of scenario compared to Kazuha grouping which only really matters against crowd. Xilonen's buff/debuff uptime is the best part of her kit for me which I love coz then I don't have to be conscious on my team rotation. Oh another plus is she's way easier to gear than Kazuha (I had hard time farming just to get EM VV pieces) and we do not need to minmax substats on her. Insane!
On note of aggravate 15:15 XILONEN is a great buff for CYNO than KAZUHA.... His rotation are much comfy and buff duration is significantly longer than KAZUHA'S buffs.... This is a rare but very impactful thing on HYPERCARRIES like CYNO.... ✌🏼
Trying to claim one is better than the other is so pointless and childish. They are of different elements and most of what they provide to their teams is dramatically different. People should just acknowledge their strengths and place in teams and stop the useless debate. You people look like this. It would be nice if they reduced the global crystallize cooldown to .5 seconds. I use to think it was for hardware reasons for the limit because this game is on phones… but dendro cores can produce 1 (2?) every .5 seconds. Getting crystallized cooldown reduced would be nice for xilo using freedom sworn or navia teams in general. Reactions are getting buffed next patch and geo is left out back

She’s actually stupid fun+strong with a full kited out team of supports. Managed to get the cooldown on the C6 to line up with my rotation so it’s a free clear in all content

I've liked putting Chiori in kazuha's slot more in all of the places where you're using both Kazuha and Xilonen. Neuvi, Arle, whoever it is, it's just feeling better with Chiori + Xilonen.
This reminds me of when Yelan came out and everyone discussed if she was better than XQ. Then people just used the two of them together. My Neuvi is certainly not complaining.
Kazuha VS Xilonen is just come down to what things you appreciate more in their differences. There's no real answer to that. With abyss these days doesn't need it at all in floor 12 and I never use grouping in that floor even when it's very good some older abyss(to make it challenging for myself), Xilonen is better for me bc I really like having longer res shred duration.

Xilonen is better in terms of Survivability/Defensive option and longer buff/debuff and another additional shredded element(geo). So she is a more "Comfortable" Version of kazuha. Kazuha can Group and swirl elements, which is great for some teams. Anyway, you would most likely need both of them. And I have them both on my c1 NEUVILLETE+ Furina, and they kill everything in sight.
I personally really love Yelan-Furina-Kazuha-Xilonen team. They're great for traversal in OW, decent team DPS that buff each others. Doesn't really matter if you have C2 Furina or not, stacking fanfare is easy regardless because the team enables quick swap anyway. She brings my C4R1 Yelan into my strongest ST dealer, so I pulled for her C2 to elevate that even more.
Kazuha >= Xilonen; People really underestimate how much damage Kazuha does off field, and probably because most people forget to actually build him as one not just as a support buffer. Xilonen could be better if Healer is really demanded like Furina teams (although she prefers teamwide healers) or you run a DPS with long on-field time with sub-dps' characters with long cd's as well, but even then Kazuha is able to make up for this with her other niche uses like grouping, AoE dmg, and some aura application. Basically, for speedruns and one rotation clears Kazuha is overall better, even more ahead if it requires grouping. Xilonen could be overall better for the average player experience.
Regarding the damage point u made Kazuha damage is pretty negligible on an optimal 800-1k em/ ~160% ER build Maybe it will round up to around 5% of the team dpr on some aggravate teams but it’s generally lower in most of his teams. If you’re talking crit build kazuha then might as well compare it to a dps xilonen at this point. Tdlr Both of them on support build do shit damage.
@@niinii5303 What I mean by "underestimate his damage" is not relative to your main dps but to other supports/DMG buffers and res shredders out there. Kaz, Furina, Yelan are in their own league or category for their ability to provide team dmg buffs while also doing high to decent dmg off field. They're not close in terms of personal dmg, one is near non-existent the other can at least get to 5% of your team's DPS. It's easy to overlook Kazuha's dmg because it's spread out, especially off-field and you don't see one big number to make it obvious. Right now, when I use my Kazuha on Arle Vape team one E skill typically does 15-22k dmg at 920 EM non-crit. My total DoT burst damage+slash ranges between 17-50k dmg depending on whether I crit or snapshot some buffs (e.g. bennett) during Q. And i've seen people have higher numbers than mine around same EM. Xilonen on the other hand, struggled to get to 5-digit dmg and can be non-existent off-field. BUT at least she can heal and her buffs last longer, which is balanced out by Kazuha's other niche uses too.
@@niinii5303 exactly , people do overstimate anemo supports damage a lot , I think it's only matters if ur dps is still not invested .. but once your dps are properly build and your Arle NA do +150K and Mualani's shark bite hitting for +300k ... the anemo supports damage start become negligible
that’s c2. before that, you need 2 other PECH characters. her geo shred (and thus her nightsoul state) only is active when she’s on field if you have 3 or more geos
C1 neuvillette is such a unit, that i almost never think about his c0 playstyle lol. Apparently he has the most owned c1. As for xilonen, i also think kazu is a tiny better overall, but for neuvilette, xilonen is a straight upgrade over him just for the duration.
Zajef missed the opportunity to cover Ayaka's new bis team. Ayaka's issue in Furina freeze team with Kazuha was that it is hard to stop Furina's hydro application without switching alignment. So most time Kazuha will be shredding hydro instead of cryo (PHEC priority), making Ayaka's damage plummet. However in Ayaka Furina freeze team with Xilonen, Xilo can shred both hydro and cryo, and her burst can cover defensive slot and generate Fanfare which Kazuha team couldn't.
If anyone is wondering what the difference between C0R1 Xilonen and C0R1 Chiori for Navia teams is: Xilonen is about 10% better for team damage with Furina/Benny. If you have C1 Chiori already there is no upgrade from getting C0 Xilonen. I also am partial to Navia plunge with Furina/Xianyun, and in that case Chiori is very good when Giga-buffed by Furina.
i would personally say they are about the same i.e. this symbol ≈ and its mostly gonna depend on which characters you want to main (that characters you comfortably use in abyss) or the characters you just generally like using. A lot of people are already pointing out their differences that honestly balances out their pros and cons. case 1: kazuha is good in the overworld cause you can E mid air and group the dropped items. but hey xilonen is also good in the overworld as she has traversal part in her kit, and as an innate healer you don't have to bring/build a healer with you unless you're a madman that uses food/statue to heal in the overworld. case 2: kazuha is better cause he just have higher personal damage especially in AoE dendro teams. but kazuha also doesn't do anything (except if you're insane and use kazu just to group enemies) in geo teams while xilonen is an upgrade in terms of damage compared to other options. case 3: kazuha can self infuse elements, if used correctly can increase the DPS of the team. xilonen's buffing is separate from her healing, making you stack fanfare with furina easier without losing buff uptime with furina. you can endlessly do this and have some sort of counterpoint over the other, which honestly convinces me, again, that they are about the same.
Tl;dr.. No she is not better than Kazuha.. in few teams she is better option that Kazuha because those teams doesn't really have a good synergy with Kazuha... She is just a sidegrade for Kazuha

Anyone else super dissapointed by the xilonen itto teams? they just feel awkward to play and REALLY energy hungry, it may be because i'm too used to having Gorou be joined at the hip to Itto at all times where playing Itto without gorou just feels awkward to me but idk.
I think Xilonen is a dificult character to play with, at least comparing to Kazuha. 1) Her signature weapon demands at least 3000 DEF on the character to max the weapon buff (theoretically 3200 DEF, but the weapon increases her defence 8%, so 3000 DEF is enough). 2) Enemies have to have elements infused in them, BEFORE Xilonen hits them with her skill, to be able to boost those specific elements. 3) In co-op, her healing radius is so small some of Xilonen havers think she doesn't heal in co-op mode. Not to say she needs TWO party members with PECH elements to enable her healing (otherwise she will not heal nor boost). 4) Xilonen does almost no personal damage (contrary to Kazuha, when a PECH element is infused in his swirl). I believe her amazing healing might be there to compensate for this. 5) Though her night-soul blessing can last a good while, in the right circumstances (Mavuika will prolong that on Natlan characters), she needs to proc her elemental skill damage at least twice, or have a lot of ER, to receive enough energy particles to activate her burst/healing on every rotation. Some characters can be hindered if the healing is not activated on every rotation (Furina, for instance, requires a lot of healing to boost her skills). 6) She is one of those characters you really have to study well to enable all her advantages. Any player unaware of those will never realise she is not boosting properly and how good she can be.
@@doggypoofy1390 I think the best take on it is that Mualani is (at the peak) the strongest carry in the game but not the best carry in general. The best carry in general is Neuvillette for everything else he has while doing really good damage even if it isn't the peak.
I mean for speedrunners and people that hyperoptimize she is better tough, she clears quite a bit faster. It's just that Neuv is better for all the normal people with skill issue, which is the majority. It depends on what you want to do who is better. It's not like in 1.0 where people unironically thought Diluc was one of the best characters, which was not true in any context.
@@doggypoofy1390 Even for that minority it is a lot of resets if you want to clear faster than Neuvillette, even for people that care about rotations the people that actually try to get fast clear is a minority and even inside that minority, the people that have the patience to retry so you get the proper enemy rng and application of elements to get the fastest clear is a minority in a minority in a minority.
mualani can actually be alot better than she is rn with mavuika whereas neuvi's team is pretty much finalised, i would say they will be roughly the same in future butw neuvi will still be the best general dps with no downsides whatsoever. Kinich>alhaitham is a 1.0 take for sure and i dont ven have alhaitham. kinich is seriously just a way better yoimiya with actual damage for me he suffers abit in aoe and multiwave unfortunately

I'm sorry but on the whole i'd say she is better then Sucrose. No grief towards Terraflop or Terraflop level gamers, more praise to them even, but most people aren't playing with that many brain cells so Xilonen is simply superior for most of us way more of the time.
I actually wondered if Xilonen is good with Clorinde as she can heal enough for Clorinde to require 2 NAs per enhanced skill. You do lose Kazuha's damage and grouping for it though

extremely minor point but i really prefer to use fav sword on Xilonen compared to Kazuha since her DEF stats aren't as important to stack compared to Kazuha's EM stats, so using a crit chance artifact doesn't feel as weird

I'm really liking Xilonen in Ayaka teams over Kazuha. Easier setups (Cryo swirls, I hate you) and you can run Furina and Shenhe with them. In general just a much better time imo

Arlecchino is noticeably stronger than Hu Tao, and has far more teams. She has vape, hyper carry, overload and mono pyro teams all dealing above 70k DPS without her signature weapon or set
My opinion on genshin is more teams > better teams. Xiolen can do that but with the nahida re run being a team in a banner newer players might be better going for the nahida re run
Well I don't actually want Xilonen vs kazuha. I used Xilonen and kazuha with my mualani and she's crazy strong now. At C0 nataln craftable weapon she deals like 350-400k per shark bite (1.4-1.6M per skill). Talents 1 8 7.

So I see it like this. Xilonen is absolutely an upgrade to kazuha in Single target, and sidegrade to aoe
The only content where she feels remarkable worse than kazuha is essentially Venti content with spread out hoards of low hp enemies
The longer buff more than overshadows the extra personal dmg. Also Geo dmg buff. And her damn sword even buffs dendro. Kazuha can use the sword too but not as well as her. Grouping and swirling to spread elements is his biggest advantage. He does have a major disadvantage by being hard countered by enemies with their own aura. Xilonen will still buff some based on your team's element.

For xilonen on navia. I think it's not a huge buff to navia, but it is for furina.
With xilonen heal, you can have more fanfare, your furina passive proc, and you gain just more overall dmg on your pets. The team is more comfy, the rotation are smother. Yes, the navia gain is not that big, but the furina gain is insane !
My navia hits for 500-700 k now, I'd say xilonen gave her pretty big buff too lol

One thing that I think is important that I haven't really seen mentioned that much so far is that she also makes furina teams that want a double shred far less cringe, or teams which want a carry that can't apply element before they start on-fielding. In my specific case it helps with my kleerina team, but I feel like it could also be useful for something like Hu Tao double hydro.

Overall, the 3 best hu tao teams for damage are:
Yelan bennett kazuha: hard setup, grouping, res shred
Yelan furina xianyun:
Plunge for aoe, doesn’t get upgraded with hu tao c1
Yelan furina xilonen:
Res shred, most buffs
Longer buff, easier setup, no grouping, but heals.
Definitely close in power level, but because I think Xilonen is a bit more flexible, I'd say Xilonen is slightly better.

In regards to Xilonen's healing, it's likely because there are so many viable healers which makes her healing not stick out as much. As for Kazuha's grouping, some content might not need it right now but at the same time you dont wanna get caught not having it. Right now Kazuha is the most bang for your buck crowd control unit with arguably more use cases than Xilonen in general.
No one can predict future abyss, if you don't have grouping in an abyss with tanky multiwave multi enemy abyss, you really can't do well. While if you can group in an abyss with groupable enemies, you will have the easiest time of your life

Yeah I play Navia a lot and I think the closest argument would be that she's not a large upgrade over Chiori if you're playing Navia without Furina. But that's a pretty narrow slice of people.
Her 40% damage bonus buff from Cinder set is somewhat equal to the 30-45% from the 2-3 bullets that Navia misses out on. Her 36% shred is comparable to the personal damage of Albedo and Chiori depend on the level of investment into Navia. With Xilonen in the team, it's easier to overkill some enemies and harder to finish them off sometimes. So yeah, slight upgrade for some people, slight downgrage for the others.
Fuck the theorycrafters, i played my navia with c0r1 xilonen and a huge upgrade over zhongli.

In teams when you use Bennett Xilonen is barely an upgrade over my Albedo (he has Spindle though). However, when you have good 5* claymore for Navia that makes her less Bennett dependant (I use Beacon on mine) then Navia - Xilonen - Furina - Yelan is a very notiveable upgrade over double pyro teams just because Xilonen buffs Furina and Yelan a lot plus these two benefit quite a lot from being played together. But that team is also less frontloaded than usual Navia teams which makes it less popular for proper speedruns.
I found Xilonen to be much more comfortable in Arlecchino teams rather than in Neuvillette teams and this is because Xilonen's range for resistance shred is decent but not that big so that you can always stay on a safe distance from your target with Neuvillette. In Arlecchino teams tho you are going to stay very close to the enemies and so you are guaranteed you won't lose her resistance shred. In addition, I found needing Xilonen's healing much much less in Arlecchino teams than in Nuvillette teams where you want to burst every rotation instead because of Furina.
That said, my Neuvillette CA does 60k per thick with Xilonen, Furina and Kazuha and that is another level of satisfaction.

I play Xilonen in my Arlecchino team. Arlecchino, Yelan, Xilonen, Bennett. I LOVE this team. The long buff uptime means I do get to swap back onto her and double crystalize. And it isn’t an issue. Also with Fav Sword, her energy requirements are essentially 0 on my team. So I use her burst for crystalizing Yelan’s hydro.
And I have to say, not needing to vv swirl on new enemies, combined with the super long buff uptime, means my rotations are more comfortable and efficient than ever. And the CC isn’t really an issue bc I tend to bring this team to boss-oriented chambers.

Important to mention, C2 allows for mono-geo because the debuff and buffs are always active. My Itto is so much stronger with her C2 and C6 Gorou.
Nobody ever mentions Mualani with Albedo, his em buff is very nice. Can get 2 shark bites off and burst for full buff uptime. Honestly my preferred double geo instead of Zhongli.

Ive had Kazuha for a long while, (I benched him a few months after I got him and only started building him while I built Mualani and used him in abyss) but I prefer Xilonen way better since she doesn't have any if the small nitpicks I had about Kazuha (AKA longer shred time)

I think an angle that you don't mention often in your comparisons is pulling. For example you make good arguments for Kazuha and Xilonen, but I'd simply add a priority on if someone doesn't have Kazuha.

Look everybody, I'm so original with my jokes, like trashing Dehya every 3 seconds or copypaste the OPPA copypasta.
I think the abyss multiplier actually have a pretty simple explanation, everytime a new character is released the current abyss is made in a way that the new character have some advantage in it to make them seem more usefull. Xilonen's core feature revolves around resintance shred so they made the enemies more tanky in order for the players who use her feel like they have the uper hand and those who don't feel like they need her.
To summarize, it's just a marketing strategy.
I have C0R1 Xilonen. I think at the end of the day I just love how I don't have to really dance around various element stacking memes to get essentially the same Kazuha buff I've been getting for ages.
And she heals.
Healing is just nice and better to have in all types of scenario compared to Kazuha grouping which only really matters against crowd. Xilonen's buff/debuff uptime is the best part of her kit for me which I love coz then I don't have to be conscious on my team rotation. Oh another plus is she's way easier to gear than Kazuha (I had hard time farming just to get EM VV pieces) and we do not need to minmax substats on her. Insane!

On note of aggravate 15:15 XILONEN is a great buff for CYNO than KAZUHA.... His rotation are much comfy and buff duration is significantly longer than KAZUHA'S buffs.... This is a rare but very impactful thing on HYPERCARRIES like CYNO.... ✌🏼

I've liked putting Chiori in kazuha's slot more in all of the places where you're using both Kazuha and Xilonen. Neuvi, Arle, whoever it is, it's just feeling better with Chiori + Xilonen.

So she is a more "Comfortable" Version of kazuha.
Kazuha can Group and swirl elements, which is great for some teams.
Anyway, you would most likely need both of them.
And I have them both on my c1 NEUVILLETE+ Furina, and they kill everything in sight.
I personally really love Yelan-Furina-Kazuha-Xilonen team. They're great for traversal in OW, decent team DPS that buff each others. Doesn't really matter if you have C2 Furina or not, stacking fanfare is easy regardless because the team enables quick swap anyway. She brings my C4R1 Yelan into my strongest ST dealer, so I pulled for her C2 to elevate that even more.
Xilonen as a Construct Driver is underrated
Real, i cleared first floor with c0r1 xil, bp albedo and c0r1 chiori plus kuki.
Kazuha >= Xilonen; People really underestimate how much damage Kazuha does off field, and probably because most people forget to actually build him as one not just as a support buffer. Xilonen could be better if Healer is really demanded like Furina teams (although she prefers teamwide healers) or you run a DPS with long on-field time with sub-dps' characters with long cd's as well, but even then Kazuha is able to make up for this with her other niche uses like grouping, AoE dmg, and some aura application.
Basically, for speedruns and one rotation clears Kazuha is overall better, even more ahead if it requires grouping. Xilonen could be overall better for the average player experience.
Regarding the damage point u made
Kazuha damage is pretty negligible on an optimal 800-1k em/ ~160% ER build
Maybe it will round up to around 5% of the team dpr on some aggravate teams but it’s generally lower in most of his teams.
If you’re talking crit build kazuha then might as well compare it to a dps xilonen at this point.
Tdlr Both of them on support build do shit damage.
@@niinii5303 What I mean by "underestimate his damage" is not relative to your main dps but to other supports/DMG buffers and res shredders out there. Kaz, Furina, Yelan are in their own league or category for their ability to provide team dmg buffs while also doing high to decent dmg off field.
They're not close in terms of personal dmg, one is near non-existent the other can at least get to 5% of your team's DPS. It's easy to overlook Kazuha's dmg because it's spread out, especially off-field and you don't see one big number to make it obvious. Right now, when I use my Kazuha on Arle Vape team one E skill typically does 15-22k dmg at 920 EM non-crit. My total DoT burst damage+slash ranges between 17-50k dmg depending on whether I crit or snapshot some buffs (e.g. bennett) during Q. And i've seen people have higher numbers than mine around same EM. Xilonen on the other hand, struggled to get to 5-digit dmg and can be non-existent off-field. BUT at least she can heal and her buffs last longer, which is balanced out by Kazuha's other niche uses too.
@@niinii5303 exactly , people do overstimate anemo supports damage a lot , I think it's only matters if ur dps is still not invested .. but once your dps are properly build and your Arle NA do +150K and Mualani's shark bite hitting for +300k ... the anemo supports damage start become negligible

Neuvillette C1 has been the new Hu Tao C1. A huge QoL that makes them feel better to play and that a majority of people go for because of it.

Zajef missed the opportunity to cover Ayaka's new bis team. Ayaka's issue in Furina freeze team with Kazuha was that it is hard to stop Furina's hydro application without switching alignment. So most time Kazuha will be shredding hydro instead of cryo (PHEC priority), making Ayaka's damage plummet.
However in Ayaka Furina freeze team with Xilonen, Xilo can shred both hydro and cryo, and her burst can cover defensive slot and generate Fanfare which Kazuha team couldn't.
The problem with xilonen in ayaya team is freeze needs the grouping. Without it, ayaya's burst is less efficient since you're missing hits.

If anyone is wondering what the difference between C0R1 Xilonen and C0R1 Chiori for Navia teams is: Xilonen is about 10% better for team damage with Furina/Benny. If you have C1 Chiori already there is no upgrade from getting C0 Xilonen. I also am partial to Navia plunge with Furina/Xianyun, and in that case Chiori is very good when Giga-buffed by Furina.
Xilonen is the best!!! I got her C2 and peak patrol with a bit over 200 wishes :D
i would personally say they are about the same i.e. this symbol ≈ and its mostly gonna depend on which characters you want to main (that characters you comfortably use in abyss) or the characters you just generally like using. A lot of people are already pointing out their differences that honestly balances out their pros and cons.
case 1: kazuha is good in the overworld cause you can E mid air and group the dropped items. but hey xilonen is also good in the overworld as she has traversal part in her kit, and as an innate healer you don't have to bring/build a healer with you unless you're a madman that uses food/statue to heal in the overworld.
case 2: kazuha is better cause he just have higher personal damage especially in AoE dendro teams. but kazuha also doesn't do anything (except if you're insane and use kazu just to group enemies) in geo teams while xilonen is an upgrade in terms of damage compared to other options.
case 3: kazuha can self infuse elements, if used correctly can increase the DPS of the team. xilonen's buffing is separate from her healing, making you stack fanfare with furina easier without losing buff uptime with furina.
you can endlessly do this and have some sort of counterpoint over the other, which honestly convinces me, again, that they are about the same.
Tl;dr.. No she is not better than Kazuha.. in few teams she is better option that Kazuha because those teams doesn't really have a good synergy with Kazuha... She is just a sidegrade for Kazuha

I think Xilonen is a dificult character to play with, at least comparing to Kazuha.
1) Her signature weapon demands at least 3000 DEF on the character to max the weapon buff (theoretically 3200 DEF, but the weapon increases her defence 8%, so 3000 DEF is enough).
2) Enemies have to have elements infused in them, BEFORE Xilonen hits them with her skill, to be able to boost those specific elements.
3) In co-op, her healing radius is so small some of Xilonen havers think she doesn't heal in co-op mode. Not to say she needs TWO party members with PECH elements to enable her healing (otherwise she will not heal nor boost).
4) Xilonen does almost no personal damage (contrary to Kazuha, when a PECH element is infused in his swirl). I believe her amazing healing might be there to compensate for this.
5) Though her night-soul blessing can last a good while, in the right circumstances (Mavuika will prolong that on Natlan characters), she needs to proc her elemental skill damage at least twice, or have a lot of ER, to receive enough energy particles to activate her burst/healing on every rotation. Some characters can be hindered if the healing is not activated on every rotation (Furina, for instance, requires a lot of healing to boost her skills).
6) She is one of those characters you really have to study well to enable all her advantages. Any player unaware of those will never realise she is not boosting properly and how good she can be.

she clears faster for minority, neuv is better for majority(skill issue) and more versatile, rip mualani against electro aura
@@doggypoofy1390 I think the best take on it is that Mualani is (at the peak) the strongest carry in the game but not the best carry in general. The best carry in general is Neuvillette for everything else he has while doing really good damage even if it isn't the peak.
I mean for speedrunners and people that hyperoptimize she is better tough, she clears quite a bit faster. It's just that Neuv is better for all the normal people with skill issue, which is the majority. It depends on what you want to do who is better. It's not like in 1.0 where people unironically thought Diluc was one of the best characters, which was not true in any context.
@@doggypoofy1390 Even for that minority it is a lot of resets if you want to clear faster than Neuvillette, even for people that care about rotations the people that actually try to get fast clear is a minority and even inside that minority, the people that have the patience to retry so you get the proper enemy rng and application of elements to get the fastest clear is a minority in a minority in a minority.
mualani can actually be alot better than she is rn with mavuika whereas neuvi's team is pretty much finalised, i would say they will be roughly the same in future butw neuvi will still be the best general dps with no downsides whatsoever. Kinich>alhaitham is a 1.0 take for sure and i dont ven have alhaitham. kinich is seriously just a way better yoimiya with actual damage for me he suffers abit in aoe and multiwave unfortunately
I just use both 😁 though people don't mention enough that playing Xilonen in co-op is a pain, half of her kit stops working because of that 2 PHEC restriction

I'm sorry but on the whole i'd say she is better then Sucrose. No grief towards Terraflop or Terraflop level gamers, more praise to them even, but most people aren't playing with that many brain cells so Xilonen is simply superior for most of us way more of the time.

I actually wondered if Xilonen is good with Clorinde as she can heal enough for Clorinde to require 2 NAs per enhanced skill. You do lose Kazuha's damage and grouping for it though
I don’t see much difference between Kazuha and Xilonen; however, I got so tired having Kazuha everywhere that sometimes I just play Venti instead, even when CC won’t work properly, in floor 12.
He's always been fine as a vv support and battery. Plus can hold Fav or Elegy.

extremely minor point but i really prefer to use fav sword on Xilonen compared to Kazuha since her DEF stats aren't as important to stack compared to Kazuha's EM stats, so using a crit chance artifact doesn't feel as weird

I’m struggle with 3 Navia stacks with Xilonen if enemy is cringe and runs from your NA, so i actually prefer Chiori on this slot (yes even c0)
I'm really liking Xilonen in Ayaka teams over Kazuha. Easier setups (Cryo swirls, I hate you) and you can run Furina and Shenhe with them. In general just a much better time imo

Arlecchino is noticeably stronger than Hu Tao, and has far more teams.
She has vape, hyper carry, overload and mono pyro teams all dealing above 70k DPS without her signature weapon or set

Well I don't actually want Xilonen vs kazuha. I used Xilonen and kazuha with my mualani and she's crazy strong now. At C0 nataln craftable weapon she deals like 350-400k per shark bite (1.4-1.6M per skill). Talents 1 8 7.
I hate enough these shielded bosses and after i pull for zhongli we wont see them i think . Because i just want zhongli for these geo shield bosses 😂
