To be honest, that angle just doesn't make sense to me, it doesn't seem like you could reach that angle when the hook is down the throat of a fish, guess I would just need to see the tool used on an actual fish? The tool should be parallel with the line when it is being used, considering the line is parallel to the inside throat of the fish. Maybe I'm wrong, perhaps it's the diet coke and rum :-) If so, I'm good with that.

it depends on how big the box is you hooked, this method worked on all the boxes i've hooked
