I have a very hardtime on tims Do they school up on docks there ? Iv scanned docks for hrs and never found school of them Or is it a one here one there type thing I fish out of lost creek i dont know tims super well I use to small mouth and striper fish it for yrs What do you recommend Asfar as area or anything to help lol Thanks
Yes the Crappie do school up under the docks at certain times. The Fall months and Summer months are best. If there is any kind of brush or tree tops under or close to the dock it helps. I like the River area starting just up from Devils Step as far as fishing docks but there are good ones in just about every part of the Lake. If you have a good side imaging unit they are easy to see. I have seen times where they just wont bite though. Learning to shoot well is a necessity when fishing docks. Many times they will be in the corners or directly under a slip in the shade. 1/16 oz jigs and 1/32 oz are my 2 main sizes. Be willing to lose a few jigs . Thats just part of it. Good luck. Thanks for watching.
LOL. My motor was about to back into a metal ladder on the dock. It would have scratched it up pretty bad. I'm pretty particular with my boat. Just about every scratch I have on my boat is from shooting docks while crappie fishing. From cables, ladders, and other things around the docks.

Love the Shakespeare micro series rods as well! What length were you all using? I guide for crappie up here on Percy Priest. Great video!
I believe those are 6 foot. They are cheap but get the job done. Thanks for watching.
